Marion Judge
CORINTH - Mrs. Marion E. Judge, of Corinth, died at home Saturday after a short illness.
Mrs. Judge was born in Saratoga Springs and graduated from Saratoga Springs High School.
She was formerly employed in Saratoga Springs as a photo artist for Gustav Lorre, a society photographer.
She also worked as an operator for the New York Telephone Co. in Saratoga Springs and at Riley's Lake House and Casino.
Mrs. Judge was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a longtime member of its Altar Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Corinth Garden Club and served as its secretary for more than 30 years.
She was married to the late Joseph Judge.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine A. Judge of Saratoga Springs.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 403 Palmer Ave.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Densmore Funeral Home, 7 Sherman Ave. The Altar Rosary Society will meet at the funeral home at 8.
Memorial contributions may be made to an animal welfare organization.

Muriel Tupacz
GEORGETOWN, S.C. - Mrs. Muriel Maloney Tupacz, 79, of Georgetown, died at home Friday.
Born and raised in Schenectady, Mrs. Tupacz was a graduate of the Mildred Elley Business School in Albany.
She moved to Georgetown in 1947.
She was a bookkeeper for many years. In 1965, she became the distributor of the News and Courier morning newspaper in the Maryville section of Georgetown.
With her husband, Mrs. Tupacz had owned and operated Tupacz Liquors and Fine Wines since 1976.
She was a longtime member and former president of the South Carolina Liquor Retailers Association.
Mrs. Tupacz was a communicant of St. Cyprian's and St. Mary's churches and a charter member and past president of St. Mary's Catholic Women's Club. She was active in the St. Cyprian's Outreach Program.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Edward K. Tupacz; a daughter, Elizabeth T. Imes of Johnson City, Tenn.; a son, Edward Gerard Tupacz of Bangkok, Thailand; a sister, Mary A. Shaw of Schenectady; a brother, Thomas J. Maloney of Schenectady; and a grandson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Church, 317 Broad St. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 this afternoon and 7 to 9 tonight at St. Cyprian's Church, 1905 Front St.

Nancy Schriver
GLENVILLE - Mrs. Nancy Gore Schriver, 45, of Saratoga Road, died Friday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a long illness.
Born in Tupper Lake, Mrs. Schriver lived most of her life in this area.
She worked for the Aetna Life Insurance Co. as a customer service representative for three years until becoming ill.
Survivors include her husband, David I. Schriver, whom she married in July; two daughters, Wendy Salisbury of Reno, Nev., and Neva Gore of Glenville; three sisters, Susan Frank of Scotia, Roxanne Arnold of Reno and Dale Young of Schenectady; two brothers, Dick Arnold of Tupper Lake and Michael McMillan of California; and three grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Marantha Ministries United Pentecostal Church, St. David's Lane and Route 7 in Niskayuna.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.

Atwell H. Mead, 87, retired Saratoga Springs shop teacher
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Former shop teacher Atwell H. Mead, 87, of Pinewood Avenue, died Sunday at Saratoga Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Waterford, Mr. Mead was a 1929 graduate of Waterford High School. He received a degree in 1933 from the Oneonta Normal School and later from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1940.
He was an industrial arts teacher for the Saratoga Springs school system for 38 years, retiring in 1972.
Mr. Mead was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and for 20 years was a member of the official family at the Saratoga Raceway. He was a member of the Old Timers Club.
He was a member of the Presbyterian New England Congregational Church.
His wife, Donna Campbell Mead, whom he married March 29, 1937, died in 1996.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverlee Lyn Mead; and a son, Charles V. Mead of Syracuse.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Bussing & Cuniff Funeral Home, 130 Circular St.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Spring burial will be in Greenridge Cemetery.

Anne Holoday
SCHENECTADY - Mrs. Anne Skoda Holoday, 82, formerly of Chrisler Avenue, died Friday in San Diego.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Holoday was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
She moved to California in 1974.
For 25 years, Mrs. Holoday worked for the General Electric Co. before retiring.
She was a member of St. Cyril's Church and its Rosary Society and Women's Guild.
Her husband, John Holoday, died in 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Worret of San Diego; a son, Richard Holoday of Schenectady; a brother, Stephen Skoda of Schenectady; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St.
Burial will be in St. Cyril's Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Anthony B. Liberis
PLANTATION, Fla. - Anthony Benedict Liberis, 80, of Plantation, died Jan. 16 at home.
Born in Amsterdam, Mr. Liberis was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School there.
During World War II, he served with the Army as an infantry instructor and attained the rank of second lieutenant.
For 25 years, Mr. Liberis worked for Mohasco Industries in Amsterdam before moving to Plantation in 1968. After moving to Florida, he worked in the construction and retail sales fields until retiring.
His wife, Veronica Kuras Liberis, died in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Hill of Plantation; a brother, Edmond Liberis of Amsterdam; a sister, Ronnie Gizelba of Amsterdam; and two granddaughters.
Services and burial were in Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church, Amsterdam.

Dewitt Van Derzee
ALBANY - Dewitt Clyde Van Derzee, 79, of Albany, died Friday at St. Peter's Hospital.
A lifelong Albany resident, Mr. Van Derzee worked in the maintenance department at the University at Albany before retiring.
During World War II, he served with the Army Air Forces and attained the rank of captain.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Lockwood Van Derzee; two daughters, Karen Stein of Shavertown, Pa., and Robin Carrera of Sweet Valley, Pa.; a son, Scott Van Derzee of Schenectady; two stepdaughters, Joan Hanley of Menands and Linda Jarvis of Marlboro, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Frederick Funeral Home, 16 Manning Square.
Burial will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Donald Peek
VERO BEACH, Fla. - Donald Guenther Peek, 78, of Vero Beach, died Saturday at home after a long illness.
Born in Rotterdam Junction, N.Y., Mr. Peek resided in Schenectady, N.Y., before moving to Florida in 1980.
For 40 years, he worked in the gas turbine department of the General Electric Co. in Schenectady before retiring.
Mr. Peek was a member of Lakewood Park Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Al Peek of Vero Beach; a daughter, Donna Fairlee of Schenectady; a brother, Allen Peek of Springfield, Va.; two sisters, Margaret Coulter of Roanoke, Va., and Irene Triebel of Venice, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity.

Doris Cusack
HOOSICK FALLS - Mrs. Doris Cusack, 70, of First Street, died Monday at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
Born and educated in Greenwich, Mrs. Cusack was a secretary for Dr. Philip Martinez for many years.
Her husband, James Cusack, died in 1982.
Survivors include four sons, James M. Cusack of Niskayuna, Martin J. Cusack of Hoosick Falls, and Peter J. and David C. Cusack, both of San Francisco, Calif.; three daughters, Kathleen A. Cogen of Rexford, Mary Cusack of Rochester and Jane C. Conte of Hoosick Falls; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main St., followed at 10 at the Immaculate Conception Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Doris Thornton
SCOTIA - Mrs. Doris Mae Decker Thornton, 75, of Alexander Street, formerly of Saratoga Road, Glenville, died Monday at St. Clare's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Thornton was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
For many years, she worked at her father's business, Decker's Grill.
During World War II, Mrs. Thornton worked in the motor winding department of the General Electric Co.
Her husband, George Anderson Thornton, died in 1992.
Survivors include two sons, George A. Thornton III of Glenville and Matthew R. Thornton of Scotia; and a grandson.
A service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., Schenectady.
Spring burial will be in Pinegrove Cemetery, Charlton.
