Margaret Russell
COLONIE - Mrs. Margaret Hoffman Russell, 93, formerly of Van Heusen Street, died Tuesday.
Mrs. Russell was the widow of Theodore Roosevelt Russell, who died in 1966.
Survivors include a son, Ted R. Russell of Colonie; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
There are no calling hours.

Lawrence E. Kirker, Sr.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Lawrence E. Kirker Sr., 71, of Loughman, died Saturday in Kissimmee after being stricken.
Born in Schenectady, Mr. Kirker moved to Loughman in 1965.
He was a mechanic for Tiner Harvesting, B.C. Cook and Sons and Long's Fruit Harvesting.
Mr. Kirker was a Baptist.
He was the widower of Ruth Kirker.
Survivors include five daughters, Wilhelmina Aini of Rotterdam, Alyce Dariano of Scotia, Sue Lucas of Davenport, Fla., and Laurie Barnes and Lynda Moore, both of Haines City, Fla.; five sons, Lawrence Kirker, Jr. and George Kirker, both of Scotia, Richard Kirker of Esperance, David Kirker of Winterhaven, Fla., and Rory Kirker of Rome, Italy; a sister, Alice Hilliard of Augusta, Ga.; 23 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Bradt Street, Schenectady.
Local arrangements are by the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, Schenectady.

George Rocco
SCHENECTADY - Services were held for George D. Rocco, 80, of Garden Grove, Calif., formerly of Schenectady, who died Nov. 28 at the home of his son in Garden Grove.
Born and educated in Schenectady, Mr. Rocco was a 1941 graduate of the former Nott Terrace High School. He had lived in Schenectady until April 1950, when he moved to Garden Grove.
Mr. Rocco was an Army veteran, serving with the New York National Guard, 27th Division, 105th Infantry. He was wounded during the Battle of Saipan and received the Purple Heart.
He was a purchasing agent for Bethlehem Steel Co. in Orange County, Calif., for 25 years. He later worked for the Hollywood Wax Museum in California for four years.
Mr. Rocco was a former communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, where he was also an altar boy. He was a member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church in Garden Grove.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Mandaro Rocco, whom he married in 1945; three sons, John and Thomas Rocco, both of Garden Grove, and Anthony Rocco of Yorktown, Ind.; two brothers, Nicholas Rocco of Schenectady and Anthony "Red" Rocco of Stamford, Conn.; and four grandchildren.
Burial was in Garden Grove.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in the spring.

Frank K. Intelisano, Sr.
BROADALBIN - Frank K. Intelisano, Sr., who was a dye-check inspector at the General Electric Co. in Schenectady for 30 years, died Tuesday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Mr. Intelisano, of Stevers Mill Road, was 67.
Born in New York City, Mr. Intelisano attended P.S. 40 there. He moved to Gloversville as a young adult and had resided in Broadalbin for the past 40 years.
He retired from GE in 1994.
Mr. Intelisano was a member of I.U.E. Local 301 in Schenectady.
Mr. Intelisano attended St. Joseph's Church.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Lake Intelisano, whom he married Dec. 24, 1950; four sons, Frank K. Intelisano, Jr. of Gloversville, Joseph and Michael M. Intelisano, both of Amsterdam, and James V. Intelisano of Northville; four daughters, Sandra J. Przybylowicz of Galway, Terry A. Greco and Annette C. Intelisano, both of Broadalbin, and Pauline B. Intelisano of Ballston Spa; his mother, Josephine Kenwood of Shoreham; a brother, Michael Kenwood of Shoreham; a sister, Susan McIlwaith of Shoreham; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church, 7 North St. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, 38 W. Main St.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown.

Ruth Allen, Amsterdam, 50-year member of DAR
AMSTERDAM - Private services will be held for Mrs. Ruth F. Allen, 89, of Swart Hill Road, formerly of Canajoharie, who died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam after a short illness.
Born in Palatine Bridge, Mrs. Allen was educated at the former Palatine School. She was a 1930 graduate of Canajoharie High School. She lived most of her life in Canajoharie before moving to Amsterdam last year.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker. She worked for the New York Power & Light Co., and the U.S. Postal Service in Palatine Bridge at one time.
She was a member of the Canajoharie United Methodist Church for more than 70 years.
Mrs. Allen was a 50-year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fort Rensselaer Chapter. She was an honorary member of the Monday Evening Club.
Her husband, Dewitt R. Allen, whom she married Sept. 7, 1935, died in 1990.
Survivors include a brother, William C. Fuller of Canajoharie.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in Fort Plain Cemetery.

Richard J. Waghorn, 55, was residential manager for state
GANSEVOORT - Richard J. Waghorn, 55, of Route 9, died Thursday at St. Clare's Hospital.
Mr. Waghorn was born in Schenectady.
He was a 1964 graduate of St. Peter's Academy in Saratoga Springs and attended the State University of New York College at Delhi.
He was an Air Force veteran, serving until 1965.
Mr. Waghorn worked for the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs for several years and progressed from auditor to innkeeper at their hotels throughout the Northeast.
He worked for the state Department of Mental Hygiene at the former Wilton Developmental Center in 1972 and held various positions in the department, most recently serving as residential manager in the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
Mr. Waghorn was a communicant of the Church of Saint Peter and had previously served as an usher at St. Clement's Church in Saratoga Springs.
He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the American Legion Adirondack Post 70, Principessa Elena Men's Society and the Society of Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Saratoga Springs.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley A. Ebert of Saratoga Springs; and two brothers, Gerald D. Waghorn, Jr. of Glens Falls and David E. Waghorn of Saratoga Springs.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
Burial with full military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.

William Jordan, recipient of GE's Coffin Award, 93
SCOTIA - William Bradford Jordan, 93, of Scotia, died Thursday at home.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Jordan moved to Scotia in 1929. He earned a degree in engineering physics from Ohio State University in 1929. He joined the General Electric Co. that year. He enrolled in GE's advanced course in engineering which included assignments in Pittsfield, Chicago and Schenectady.
He was also manager of advanced engineering at the Schenectady plant. Mr. Jordan was later a consulting engineer at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. He was the recipient of the Charles A. Coffin Award for his defense-related work during World War II. Mr. Jordan retired from the company in 1973 with 44 years of service. He was a member of the GE Elfun Society.
Mr. Jordan was a volunteer at WMHT studios from 1973 until 1998. He cataloged the station's music library into a new in-house computer system.
On his 80th birthday, Mr. Jordan was cited by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics for having solved more of their mathematical problems than any other member.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Esther Relyea Jordan; a son, James Jordan of Troy; and a grandson. There are no calling hours.
Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady.

Helen Blanchard
FORT HUNTER - Mrs. Helen A. Blanchard, 82, formerly of Queen Ann Road, Amsterdam, died Friday at Montgomery Meadows Residential Health Care Facility.
Mrs. Blanchard was born in Amsterdam. A lifelong area resident, she was educated locally.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Blanchard was a member of the Fonda-Fultonville United Methodist Church. She had been a member of the former Fort Hunter Methodist Church.
Her husband, Marcellus A. Blanchard, whom she married Sept. 21, 1944, died in 1987.
Survivors include two sons, John M. Blanchard of Fultonville and Frank R. Blanchard of Fort Hunter; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Audrey Fleming
MECHANICVILLE - Mrs. Audrey Keener Fleming, 83, of Prospect Street, formerly of Tupper Lake, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy.
Born in Roscoe, Sullivan County, Mrs. Fleming was a 1936 graduate of Roscoe High School. She attended New Rochelle College and the Grand Central School of Art.
Mrs. Fleming was a cartologist for 12 years for the tax department of Ulster County in Kingston.
She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Tupper Lake.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Thomas M. Fleming; two daughters, Maura Jorgensen Wood of Malta and Jane Fleming of New York City; a sister, Dorothy Kenner Benedict of California; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A memorial gathering will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at All Saints Episcopal Church, Round Lake.
There are no calling hours.
Spring burial will be in Stephentown.

Bertram J. Westervelt, Jr.
GREENFIELD CENTER - Bertram J. Westervelt, Jr., 42, of Comstock Road, died Friday at Saratoga Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Albany, Mr. Westervelt attended Corinth High School.
He worked in the maintenance department at the Saratoga Harness Track for eight years. He also worked for Storm Masters in Ballston Spa for more than five years.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Millington Westervelt, whom he married March 8, 1980; two sons, Jonathan and Bertram J. Westervelt, III, both of Greenfield Center; twin daughters, Jennifer and Jessica Westervelt, both of Greenfield Center; his parents, Doris Rowe Westervelt and Bertram Westervelt, Sr. of Greenfield Center; and three sisters, Nadine Hamm of Porter Corners, and Darlene Hika and Charlene Shipski, both of Corinth.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Densmore Funeral Home, 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Corinth Rural Cemetery.

WATERFORD - Private services will be held for Mrs. Dorothy A. Kosowsky, 78, of Pine Park Terrace, who died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Troy, Mrs. Kosowsky retired from the former W.T. Grant Co. in Troy.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Kosowsky; four daughters, Jo Ann Berg of Ogdensburg, Teri Kosowsky of Troy, Kathy Dennis of Rock City Falls and Geri Collum of O'Fallon, Miss.; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
