Albert LeCuyer
JOHNSONVILLE - Albert R. LeCuyer, 84, of Master Street, died Monday at the Hoosick Falls Health Center.
Born in Quebec, Canada, Mr. LeCuyer had been a Watervliet resident since age 6.
He worked at Tri City Oil & Heat, Sycaway, for 20 years, retiring in 1986.
Mr. LeCuyer was a member of the Cohoes-Waterford Elks.
He was the widower of Hazel Brown LeCuyer.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald LeCuyer of Port Charlotte, Fla., Albert LeCuyer Jr. of Schenectady, and Lawrence LeCuyer of Watervliet; two daughters, Linda Matthews of Troy and Donna Adams of Johnsonville; two brothers, James LeCuyer of Florida and Paul LeCuyer of Latham; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Parker Brothers Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, followed at 9 at St. Patrick's Church, Watervliet, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

David H. Leggett
MECHANICVILLE - David H. Leggett, 75, of Farm to Market Road, died Monday at home after being stricken.
Born and raised in Waterford, Mr. Leggett lived all of his married life in Mechanicville.
A dairy farmer, Mr. Leggett owned and operated Bellayr Farms on Farm to Market Road from 1946 to 1973. He was also a construction electrician with Schenectady Local 166, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 33 years.
Mr. Leggett was a military policeman with the Army during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 1450 in Halfmoon.
He was a charter member of the Hillcrest Fire Department and a longtime board member and former chairman of grounds of the Hudson View Cemetery in Mechanicville.
Mr. Leggett had raised and groomed Percheron draft horses and drove his teams at area shows, parades and the Saratoga County Fair. He was a member of the Percheron Horse Association of America.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mechanicville.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Eleanor Cassedy Leggett; four daughters, Diane Saunders and Carol Walko, both of Mechanicville, Sandra Fisher of Galway and Sylvia Leggett of Alton, N.H.; two sons, David S. Leggett of Mechanicville and Douglas Leggett of Greenwich; a sister, Jessie Farron of Clifton Park; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S. Main St. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hudson View Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Mechanicville Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.

Donald Bush
SCHENECTADY - Donald Bush, 72, of Waverly Place, died Monday at the Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany.
Born in Schenectady, Mr. Bush was a longtime area resident.
He was a graduate of Scotia High School.
Mr. Bush was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the USS Oregon.
He graduated with honors from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Mass., and was a percussion student at the Berkshire Music Center in Tanglewood, Mass., where he was a student of Leonard Bernstein.
As a concert percussionist, Mr. Bush was a member of the Portland, Maine, Springfield, Mass., and Albany symphonies. He was also a member of the Boston Pops Orchestra, where he toured with Arthur Fiedler, and the Pittsburgh Symphony under William Steinberg.
He worked under conductors such as Aaron Copland, Andre Kostelanetz, Igor Stravinsky, Charles Munch, Lorin Maazel and Leonard Bernstein.
Mr. Bush owned and operated the Bush Flower Shop in Scotia for 20 years.
He taught percussion at Niskayuna High School for 10 years and at his private drum studio for 25 years. He also taught percussion at the University at Albany.
Mr. Bush played local theater percussion at the Four Seasons Dinner Theater; the Saratoga Spa Music Center; the Empire State Music Theater; the Schenectady Light Opera Company; and the Playhouse in the Park. He was also a community music director.
He was chairman of the Lions Club concert committee.
Mr. Bush was a member of the American Federation of Musicians and the Scotia Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Bush; and a daughter, Cynthia Bush Abrams of Manhattan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Temple Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Ave.
Burial will follow the service in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Watt Street.

Dorothy Tuttle
SCOTIA - Mrs. Dorothy J. Tuttle, 62, of Ridge Road, died Sunday at the home of her son in Charlton.
Born in Ballston, Mrs. Tuttle was a lifelong area resident.
She had been a legal secretary for Schenectady County since 1988.
Survivors include two sons, Robert F. Tuttle of Charlton and Michael F. Tuttle of Orange County; a sister, Eleanor F. Ellis of Charlton; a brother, Richard F. Brady of Raleigh, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Route 146A, Ballston Lake.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Charlton.

Frances McDonald
COLONIE - Mrs. Frances Genter McDonald, 79, of the Teresian House, died Sunday at the home.
Born in Albany, Mrs. McDonald was a 1939 graduate of the former Cathedral Academy.
She was the pension fund manager for the Teamsters Local 294 in Albany before retiring in 1984.
Survivors include her husband, John J. McDonald; three sons, John P. and Kevin C. McDonald, both of Altamont, and Brian V. McDonald of Colonie; two sisters, Margaret Schuman and Sister Loretta Genter of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul; and 10 grandchildren.
The services will be held at 8 a.m. Thursday at the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., and at 9 a.m. a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Clare's Church.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.

Francis A. Schneible
GLENVILLE - Francis A. Schneible, 82, of Van Buren Road, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after being stricken at home.
Born in Schenectady, Mr. Schneible was a lifelong area resident. He lived in Guilderland and in Clifton Park before moving to Glenville in 1998.
He was a graduate of the former Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady.
He worked for the General Electric Co. in Schenectady and retired from the New York state Office of General Services in 1983.
Mr. Schneible was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving as a staff sergeant with the 822nd Bomb Squadron.
He was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
His brother, Vincent Schneible, died in July.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Bonita Hockenberry Schneible; three sons, C. Richard Schneible of Bloomingdale, Ill., Paul Schneible of Schenectady and Lawrence Schneible of Clifton Park; three daughters, Bonita Bushee of Schenectady, Katherine Wilson of East Meadow, L.I., and Eleanor Goodspeed of Glenville; a brother, Philip Schneible of Ballston Lake; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, East Glenville, and at 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road, East Glenville.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Hugh J. Donlon
GLOVERSVILLE - Hugh J. Donlon, 81, of Englewood, Fla., died Saturday at Bon Secour/Venice Hospital, Venice, Fla.
Born in Herkimer, Mr. Donlon was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving in the 8th Air Force, 467th Heavy Bombardment Group as a flight engineer on a B-24 Liberator. He participated in more than 30 combat missions over Europe.
He owned and operated Hugh J. Donlon Insurance Agency in Gloversville for 30 years, retiring in 1982.
Mr. Donlon was a member of the VFW Post 2077, Gloversville, and the Mayfield Service Men's Club in Mayfield. After moving to Englewood in 1989, he became a member of the BPOE Lodge 2378.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eileen Johnson Donlon.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Englewood.
Burial will be private in St. Raphael's Memorial Garden.

John Cefala
SCHENECTADY - In Monday's Gazette, the obituary for John R. Cefala contained misinformation and omitted a survivor due to incorrect information provided to the paper.
Mr. Cefala did not play with Buddy Rich. He is survived by his companion, Kim Wilkins of Rotterdam.

John M. Parker
ALBANY - John M. Parker, 80, of Ver Planck Street, died Sunday at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Born in Albany, Mr. Parker was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a salesman with Reynolds Metal in Albany for many years.
Mr. Parker was a member and past master of the F. & A.M. Ancient Temple Lodge 14. He was also a member of the Cyprus Temple AAONMS; the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; the BPOE Colonie Lodge 2192; and the VFW Post 5294, Guilderland.
He was the widower of Catherine Murname Parker.
Mr. Parker is survived by a sister, Eleanor Parker Salkis of Colonie.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Tebbutt Funeral Home, 633 Central Ave.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.

John P. Lince Sr.
ROTTERDAM JUNCTION - John P. Lince Sr., 31, of Main Street, died Sunday at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Gloversville, Mr. Lince was a graduate of Gloversville High School.
He was a certified automotive technician and worked at the Colonie Garage.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Jacobs Lince, whom he married Nov. 26, 1994; a son, John Paul Lince Jr. of Mayfield; two daughters, Sarah Suzanne Lince and DeAnna Rosalynn Lince, both of Rotterdam Junction; his parents, David C. Lince and JoAnn Brockhum Lince; two brothers, David J. Lince of Ballston Spa and Jeremy J. Lince of Gloversville; and a sister, Michele Lennon of Mayfield.
The service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Light's Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
