Esther A. Ogden
ALBANY - Mrs. Esther A. Ogden, 84, of Albany, died Thursday at Albany Memorial Hospital.
A lifelong Albany resident, Mrs. Ogden worked for the New York state Department of Civil Service until retiring in 1978.
She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Ogden; four brothers, Dominik, Francis, Joseph and Michael Mariani, all of Albany; and a sister, Mary Smolinski of Albany.
Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday at the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., and at 10:30 at Blessed Sacrament Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Our Lady of Hope Residence, Jeanne Jugan Lane, Latham, NY 12110.

Frances Hickok
COLONIE - Mrs. Frances L. Hickok, 93, formerly of Colonie, died Thursday at the Hallmark Nursing Centre, Rotterdam.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Hickok was proprietor of the Tick-Tock Tavern for 25 years.
She was a communicant of St. Clare's Church.
Her husband, Stanley Hickok, died in 1951.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley G. Hickok of Schenectady and Ronald L. Hickok of Virginia; a daughter, Joan F. Small of Rotterdam; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady, and at 9 at St. Clare's Church, 1947 Central Ave., where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity.

Gloria Handelman
CLIFTON PARK - Mrs. Gloria B. Handelman, 86, of Hollandale Apartments, died Friday at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Handelman lived most of her life in the New York City metro area before moving to the Capital Region in 1988.
She was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom.
Survivors include her husband of more than 60 years, Irving Handelman; two sons, Mark Handelman of New York City and Martin Handelman of Manalapan, N.J.; a daughter, Roberta Moses of Ballston Lake; and six grandchildren.
A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Agudat Achim Cemetery Chapel, Rotterdam.
Burial will be in Beth Shalom Cemetery, Rotterdam.
A period of mourning will be observed at the Handelman residence, 15B Hollandale Apartments, following burial Sunday through Tuesday evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom, Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, 12065.
Arrangements are by the Levayah Chapels, Schenectady.

Harry Vetoich
MAPLEWOOD - Harry Vetoich, 86, of Maplewood, died Friday at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after being stricken at home.
A lifelong Maplewood resident, Mr. Vetoich served with the Navy in the Pacific during World War II.
For many of his working years, he was a meat cutter and operated Vetoich Meat Market. Later, he worked for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. and Pantry Pride supermarkets, retiring from the latter at age 64. Subsequently, he worked part-time for Sky View Market in Latham.
Mr. Vetoich was a member of the Colonie Elks Lodge and the Menands Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
He was a communicant of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Watervliet.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Zmud Vetoich, whom he married Jan. 9, 1943; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, and at 10 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, both in Watervliet.
Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Waterford.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, during which a Panikhyda service will be at 6:30.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Henry Slezak
ALBANY - Henry A. Slezak, 81, of Morris, N.Y., died Tuesday at the Stratton Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospital.
Born in Poland, Mr. Slezak came to this country in the late 1930s.
He worked for the Schlitz Brewing Co. until retiring in the early 1970s.
Mr. Slezak was the widower of Florence Slezak.
Survivors include two sisters, Ludwika Sczewc of Poland and Wanda Murlik of Coral Springs, Fla.
Services will be in Morris.
Arrangements are by the Levayah Chapels, Schenectady.

Kenneth Pisarczyk
AMSTERDAM - Kenneth Pisarczyk, 62, of Mathias Avenue, died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital after being stricken.
A lifelong Amsterdam resident, Mr. Pisarczyk was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School and Albany Business College.
He was an insurance salesman for the John Hancock Insurance Co.
Mr. Pisarczyk was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Polish National Alliance Church.
He was a past president of the Life Underwriters Association and of the Sacred Heart Club; and a member of the Polish National Alliance.
At one time, Mr. Pisarczyk served with the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Decowski Pisarczyk, whom he married Sept. 16, 1961; a son, James Pisarczyk of Amsterdam; a daughter, Kristan A. Tittle of Lunenburg, Mass.; and a sister, Charlene Bartman of Amsterdam.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Riley Mortuary, 110 Division St.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
A calling hour will be prior to the service at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity.

Lena Dillenbeck
PALATINE - Mrs. Lena Smith Dillenbeck, 85, of Stone Arabia Road, died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, after a brief illness.
Born in Oppenhiem, Mrs. Dillenbeck was educated in area country schools and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Dillenbeck was of the Reformed faith.
Survivors include her husband, William C. Dillenbeck, Sr. of St. Johnsville, whom she married Nov. 26, 1932; three sons, William C., Jr. and Jeffrey A. Dillenbeck, both of Fort Plain, and Kenneth G. Dillenbeck of Nelliston; a daughter, Betty L. Neri of Broadalbin; a sister, Thelma Rose of Fort Plain; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services and visitation will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-County Volunteer Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 126, Canajoharie, 13317; or to charity.
Arrangements are by the Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Canajoharie.

Marie Eskedal
SCOTIA - Private services will be held for Mrs. Marie Eskedal, 92, of the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, who died Thursday at the home after a long illness.
Born in Grimstad, Norway, Mrs. Eskedal lived in the Sharon Springs and Cobleskill areas at one time. She spent the summer months in the town of Day.
Mrs. Eskedal was a shipping clerk at the Floquil Co., in Lawyersville, retiring in 1969.
She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Cobleskill.
Her husband, Peder Eskedal, whom she married in 1925, died in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Eskedal of Scotia and Arnold Eskedal of Lebanon, Conn.; two daughters, Doris Warner of Sharon Springs and Sandra Hayes of Lakeside, Mont.; a sister, Sandra Mason of Paradise, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date at Calvary Assembly of God Church.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the memorial fund at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 297 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
Arrangements are by the Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home, Cobleskill.

Raymond E. Wilson
CLIFTON PARK - Raymond E. Wilson, 75, of Old Route 146, died Friday at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after a brief illness.
Born in Melrose, Mass., Mr. Wilson served with the Army during World War II.
For more than 25 years, he was a truck driver for Holmes Transportation in Albany before retiring. Earlier, he was a trackman for B&M Railroad in Hoosick Falls.
Mr. Wilson was a member of Teamsters Union Local 294 in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Harrington Wilson; three sons, Raymond Charles Wilson of El Cajon, Calif., Harold Lewis Wilson of Waterford, and Robert Kenneth Wilson of Middletown, N.J.; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9.
Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

SARATOGA SPRINGS - A memorial Mass will be celebrated for Renee C. Reddy who died Saturday.
The service will be at noon today at the Church of St. Peter, Broadway.
