Lucy Pacelli
ROTTERDAM - Mrs. Lucy Santoro Pacelli, 88, of Curry Road, died Saturday at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady after a short illness.
Born in Rotterdam, Mrs. Pacelli was a lifelong area resident.
At one time, she had worked for Weber Electric and the General Electric Co., both in Schenectady.
For more than 55 years, she was married to Fred Pacelli, who died in 1993.
Survivors include a brother, Nicholas Santoro of Rotterdam, and a sister, Rose Stanco of Ormond Beach, Fla.
A service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway and Guilderland Avenue, where a calling period will begin at 1.
Burial will be in St. Cyril's Cemetery.

Mildred Kelly
TROY - Mrs. Mildred Baker Kelly, 95, of Griswold Avenue, died at home Saturday after a long illness.
Mrs. Kelly was born in Cohoes and educated at St. Bernard's School. She came to Troy when she married and lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Kelly was a seamstress at Cluett, Peabody & Co. many years ago.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and its Rosary Altar Society and Women's Club.
She was married to the late Francis E. Kelly.
Survivors include three sons, James R. Kelly of Troy, Francis E. Kelly of Glens Falls and John J. Kelly of Saratoga Springs; a sister, Ursula Stubbs of Laguna Hills, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A service is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bryce Funeral Home, Pawling and Maple avenues, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 at Sacred Heart Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Rose Ottman
GUILDERLAND - Mrs. Rose M. Ottman, 73, of Guilderland, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
Mrs. Ottman was born in the Syracuse area. She lived in Auburn before moving to Guilderland 30 years ago.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James T. Ottman; two sons, Mark Ottman of Esperance and Jeff Ottman of Guilderland; six daughters, Nancy Cronk of Lake Worth, Fla., Patricia Murdoch of Cranberry, Pa., Carol Fura of Charlton, Dael Szypulski of Meriden, Conn., Julie Ottman of Castleton and Connie Ottman of Schenectady; a sister, Dorothy Hansen of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A service will be held at noon Tuesday at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Turnpike. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Genevieve Ross, 89, owned restaurant in Saratoga Springs
STAMFORD, Conn. - Former restaurant owner, Mrs. Genevieve "Jay" Santoro Ross, 89, of Stamford, formerly of Schenectady and Hollywood, Fla., died Friday in Stamford, Conn.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Ross lived in Stamford since 1996.
She was a stitcher in a baseball factory in the Mont Pleasant area in her early years. Later, Mrs. Ross was the owner of Aunt Lucy's Chicken House in Saratoga Springs.
While residing in Florida, Mrs. Ross was a founder of a popular "Over 60" club.
She spent the summer months at the Great Sacandaga Lake in the Adirondacks for more than 40 years.
Mrs. Ross was the widow of Salvan Ross, Sr., whom she married in 1929.
Survivors include two sons, Salvan Ross, Jr. of Stamford and Vincent Ross of Saratoga Springs; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant St., Schenectady.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. A reception will follow at The Woodlin Club, Glenville.
Arrangements are by the N. Rossi & Sons Funeral Home, Schenectady.

Thomas E. Baker, 34, executive at auto service in Ballston Spa
MIDDLE GROVE - Thomas E. Baker, 34, of Middle Grove, died Thursday in St. Michel des Saints, Quebec, as a result of a snowmobile accident.
Born in Ballston Spa, Mr. Baker was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1983 graduate of Ballston Spa High School and a 1985 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College.
Mr. Baker was vice president of Baker's Auto Service in Ballston Spa.
He was a member of the Kayaderroseras Fish and Game Club of Ballston Spa, vice president of the Hoffman Fish & Game Protective Association, president of the East Galway Snowmobile Club and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was a New York state sportsman instructor and a certified automotive master technician.
Mr. Baker was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Young Baker, whom he married in 1992; his parents, Beverly Wagner Baker and John M. Baker, Sr. of Ballston Spa; a brother, John M. Baker, Jr. of Ballston Spa; and a sister, Cheryl Grugan of Ballston Spa.
The services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa, and at 10 a.m. a requiem Mass will be celebrated at Christ Church, High Street, Ballston Spa. Calling hours will be from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date.

Charles Rouault, of Rotterdam, was mechanical engineer at GE
ROTTERDAM - Retired General Electric Co. engineer Charles L. Rouault, 83, of Putnam Road, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital after being stricken.
Mr. Rouault was born in Jersey City, N.J. He was raised in Franklin, Pa., and came to Schenectady in 1965.
He was a graduate of Franklin High School and earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J.
Mr. Rouault worked as a mechanical engineer at GE until his retirement in 1978.
He was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century Club.
Mr. Rouault was a member of the Unitarian Church in Schenectady.
His first wife, Pauline Allen Rouault, died in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Camilla Clough Rouault; two sons, Jeffrey Allen of New York City and Dr. Charles L. Rouault of Plantation, Fla.; a daughter, Dr. Tracey Rouault of Bethesda, Md.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
Cremation will be in the Vale Cemetery Crematorium.

George J. Miranda, Troy Fire Dept. captain, Korean War vet
LANSINGBURGH - Former fire Captain George J. Miranda, 68, of Lansingburgh, died Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy.
Born in Scotia, Mr. Miranda was a graduate of Scotia High School.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Miranda was appointed to the Troy Fire Department in 1956 and retired in 1992 as a captain.
He was a former president of the Troy Federal Credit Union and was the former treasurer of the Marine Corps League of Troy.
Mr. Miranda was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Morris Miranda; a daughter, Barbara Lanoue of Lansingburgh; a son, Patrick Miranda of Lansingburgh; a brother, Marcus Miranda of Rotterdam; a sister, Madelyn Lawrence of Duanesburg; and seven grandchildren.
The services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 870 Second Ave., and at 9:30 a.m. a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Troy.

Michael Marchesiello
GLENVILLE - Michael L. Marchesiello, 34, of Jenkins Road, died Monday at Ellis Hospital from cancer.
Born in Schenectady, he graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School in 1983 and SUNY at Cobleskill in 1985. He was a 1993 alumnus of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy and attended Union College in Schenectady as an industrial economics major until his death.
Mr. Marchesiello completed the manufacturing apprentice program at the General Electric Co. between 1990 and 1993 and worked as a materials resource planner for the company for 10 years.
Mr. Marchesiello was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Parish.
Survivors include his wife, Lisabeth Swope Marchesiello; two sons, Anthony M. and Nicholas R. Marchesiello of Burnt Hills; two brothers, Joseph A. Marchesiello of Charlton and Dominick "Buz" Marchesiello, Jr. of Glenville; a sister, Michele M. Michael of Clifton Park; and his mother- and father-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Swope of Baldwinsville.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., East Glenville, and a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd., East Glenville.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, East Glenville.
Calling hours will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marion Dirsie
AMSTERDAM - Mrs. Marion R. Dirsie, 82, of Route 147, Galway, died Sunday at Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility after a long illness.
Mrs. Dirsie was born in Amsterdam. She was educated in the Amsterdam school system.
Mrs. Dirsie was employed as a sales clerk. She retired from the former Nichols department store.
Her husband, James Dirsie, whom she married on April 22, 1944, died in 1963.
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Nardin of Wilton; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held this spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Tribes Hill.
There are no calling hours.

Harold Mulvey, `Panther' judge
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Harold M. Mulvey, the former Superior Court Judge who presided over the highly-charged Black Panther trial in the early 1970s, died on Sunday. He was 86.
The six-month murder trial of national Black Panther leader Bobby G. Seale and local leader Ericka Huggins ended in a hung jury.
Seale, chairman of the militant group, was accused of ordering the killing of a local Panther member, Alex Rackley, a suspected police informer.
Mulvey dismissed the charges against Seale and Huggins on May 24, 1971.
