ANDREW W. “ANDY” STEPHENS SR.

ANDREW W. “ANDY” STEPHENS SR. 89, of 7 Norton Street passed away on Sunday August 8, 2004 at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville. He was born July 4, 1915 in Genesee, PA the son of Clark and Etta (Leonard) Stephens. On August 17, 1940 in Richburg he married Nettie Cowles who survives.
Andy was raised in Allentown and was a graduate of the Allentown Union High School. He was formerly employed by Worthington Corporation, the Sinclair Refinery and Turbodyne, where he retired as a foreman in 1977. He was a life member of the Belmont Fire Company, was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting & fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife Nettie are 2 sons, Gary (Faye) Stephens and Andrew W. Stephens Jr. both of Belmont, 5 grandchildren, Steve (Lynn) Biancuzzo, Cathy (K.J.) Spinks, Desiree (Dan) DeMarte, Aaron Stephens and Cassandra (Dan) Webster as well as 6 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Andrea Biancuzzo on July 17, 1976.
ANITA S. HARRELL
Wellsville, NY
ANITA S. HARRELL, 91 formerly of 5649 Bolivar Road passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at the Wellsville Highland Healthcare Center. She was born on October 28, 1912 in Wellsville, the daughter of Otto and Adelaide (Heineke) Roeske. On October 26, 1943 in California, she married Monroe Harrell who predeceased her on June 24, 1979.
She was a life long resident of Wellsville and was a member of the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsville.
Anita is survived by a brother: Ebert Roeske of Wellsville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by 3 brothers: Leon Roeske, Otto Roeske, and Eli Roeske; and 3 sisters: Margaret Dunn, Clara Kalota, and Lillian Roeske.
Friends are invited to the funeral on Monday June 28th at 2:00 pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church 470 N. Main Street in Wellsville, with Rev. Robert Morris presiding. Anita had requested no prior visitation and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc.
ANNA A. STUCK

ANNA A. STUCK, 67 of 2825 Andover Road passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Jones Memorial Hospital. She was born July 24, 1937 in Ormel, NY the daughter of Gordon and Violet (Hale) Stuck.
She graduated from Fillmore Central School. She liked to play bingo and enjoyed reading and flowers.
Anna is survived by her partner of 45 years: Warren Davidson of Wellsville, 1 son: Warren (Kelley) Davison of Wellsville, 2 daughters: Rose Ely of Belfast, Susan Stuck of West Seneca, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother: Howard Stuck of Belfast, a sister: Norma Stuck of Wellsville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son: Lawrence Davison, and a daughter: Sarah Davison.
Friends are invited to call on Monday, August 16 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Wellsville, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm with Revs. Ray and Regina Shaw presiding. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville. Memorial suggestions include the American Heart Association.
Anthony V. “Tony” Mariotti
Wellsville, NY
Anthony V. “Tony” Mariotti, 43, of 2336 Meservey Hill died October 3, 2003 at home. He was born December 22, 1959 in Wellsville, the son of Siegfried Mariotti and Caroline Schramm.
Tony was a lifelong resident of Wellsville and graduated from Wellsville High School in 1979. He spent many years working at the Kwik-Fill in Wellsville. Tony was also a loving father and an avid outdoorsman who lived to hunt and fish.
Tony is survived by his mother; Caroline Mariotti of Wellsville: a daughter; Samantha Jo Mariotti of Scio: 3 brothers; Paul Mariotti of Wellsville, James Mariotti of Raleigh, NC, Joseph (Kera) Mariotti of Wellsville, and 2 sisters; Lisa (Tom) Lee of Hemlock, NY and Beth (Dan) Cooke of Honeoye Falls, NY. He is also survived by and uncle, several cousins, 4 nieces, and a longtime friend; Tracy Saxton.
He was predeceased by his father Siegfried in 1989.
Friends are invited to call on Monday October 6th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Mason Sorensen presiding, and burial will be in Genesee, PA. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

April L. Allen, age 42 of 43 Seneca Street died Thursday July 17, 2003 in her home.
She was born on February 13, 1961 in Wellsville to Richard and Dawn Garton Plaisted. April graduated from Whitesville Central School in 1979 and was a health care aid for Steuben County in Bath. She was a member of the American Legion Post 702 Auxiliary and a former member of the Whitesville Firemen’s Auxiliary, April was an avid NASCAR fan and loved her cats.
Survivors include: a long time companion Larry Chambers of Wellsville; a sister Debra Allen of Wellsville; a brother Jay Plaisted of Arkport; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins including a special Aunt Carolyn Hall of Whitesville.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Friends may call on Sunday July 20, 2003 from 2-4 in the J.W. Embser Sons F.H. in Wellsville. A funeral service will take place after calling hours at 4 P.M at the Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Barnes. She will be buried with her parents in the North Bingham Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
AUSTIN BRADFORD

AUSTIN BRADFORD, 85 of 63 East Hanover Street passed away on Thursday August 19, 2004 at Jones Memorial Hospital. He was born November 15, 1918 in Savannah, GA the son of Prince and Sophia Bradford.
He was raised in Georgia and for several years had resided in Islip, NY. On December 12, 1987 he moved to Fillmore under the care of Donna Fiegl, and in 2002 he came to Wellsville.
Austin attended the Allegany ARC Senior Program on O’Connor Street in Wellsville. He loved music, dancing and took great pride in raising the American Flag at the Shine Building on several occasions.
He was awarded the Allegany ARC Volunteer of the Year in 1995.
