A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen Lana Piscitelli, of Wellsville, who died April 20, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church. Father Dennis Wolf, celebrant. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, Inc. Wellsville. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Wellsville.
MRS. MARIE V. PERRONE
WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Marie V. Perrone, 90, of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., formerly of Bolivar, died Dec. 7, 2001 at home.
She was born July 15, 1911, in Ridgway, Pa., the daughter of Frank and Rose Roselli Angello.
On June 29, 1935, she married Anthony P. Perrone in Ridgway, Pa.
She attended Ridgway High School in Pennsylvania, and studied music at Columbia University.
She was employed as a secretary for the Dutchess County Social Services Department, where she worked for 22 years. She retired in 1973.
She was a member of the a senior citizens group in Wappingers Falls, St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls and also gave private piano lessons at her home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Philip A. Perrone of Mesh, Ariz. and daughter-in-law Lucille Perrone; one brother, Anthony Angello of Ridgway, Pa. and sister-in-law Eileen Angello; two grandchildren; niece Sondra Herring of Poughkeepsie, N.Y and nephew in law George Herring; and several other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held Monday at the Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at the St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls.

ANDOVER - Arthur Nye, of Trapping Brook Road, died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, in Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.
Arrangements are being made by the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home in Wellsville.
CARL E. KAILBOURNE
BROWNSVILLE, Texas - Carl E. Kailbourne, 87, died Saturday (October 12, 2002) in Brownsville, Texas.
He was born September 6, 1915, in Kane, Pa., the eldest son of Daniel and Blanche Kailbourne. In 1937, he married Jean Smith who survives him.
Mr. Kailbourne lived in Kane and Driftwood, Pa., until moving to Wellsville in 1930. He attended Wellsville High School, graduating in 1934. He was employed at the Sinclair Refinery Co. for 23 years until it closed. He built the Kailbourne Supply Co. on Riverside Drive and engaged in selling and servicing tools and equipment for schools and industry, locally and throughout several states, until he retired in 1977. He was a Master Mason of Lodge 230 F. and A.M., and a 32nd degree Mason.
In 1978, he became a "winter Texan", maintaining a home in Brownsville, Tx., and returning with his wife to spend summers at their home on Riverside Drive in Wellsville. He loved to playing golf, hunting and woodworking.
Mr. Kailbourne is survived by his wife, Jean Kailbourne; a daughter, Sandra (Donald) Hennel of Glenville; a son, Gary (Gail) Kailbourne of Oak Island, NC; a sister, Vivian (Richard) Ostos of Brownsville, Tx.; three brothers; Erland Kailbourne and Raymond (Colleen) Kailbourne of Wellsville, and Lloyd Kailbourne of Whitesville; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great grandson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Katherine Rose and Grace Buettner; and a brother, Donald Kailbourne.
A Memorial Service was held on October 16, 2002 in Brownsville, Tx. A local memorial service is planned at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
WINNIFRED "Winnie" M. SLOCUM
WELLSVILLE - Winnifred "Winnie" M. Slocum, 83, of 27 Maple Street, Wellsville died Tuesday (August 27, 2002) at her home.
She was born July 27, 1919, in Scio, a daughter of Ernest F. Geffers IV and Wilhemnia G. (Oestrich) Geffers. On December 6, 1940 she married Charles W. Jenison who predeceased her in October 1987.
She was a former resident of Scio who lived in Andover for the last several years. She was a seamstress working from her home.
She is survived by two sons, Cecil Jenison, of Friendship and Lyle (Bonnie) Jenison of Gloucester, Va., three daughters Carolynn Lycette of Andover, Thelma Mae Higdey of Alfred and Sharon Morris of Andover, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Frederick A. Geffers and Albert E. Geffers and one sister Roberta T. Geffers.
Friends are invited to call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc., Wellsville, where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday. The Reverend Duane Broadwell will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville

Friends of Winnifred "Winnie" M. Slocum, who died Tuesday (August 27, 2002) are invited to call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the J.W. WILFRED "BILL' NORTON
SCIO - Wilfred "Bill" Norton, 74, of 3837 Knights Creek Rd., Scio, died Monday (Feb. 12, 2001) at home.
Born Sept. 8, 1926 in Belmont, he was the son of Kenneth and Lacona Thomas Norton.
In 1958 in Buffalo, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Perham, who survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII. For 38 years he was a machinist for Dresser-Rand, retiring in 1988.
He was a member of the Frank B. Church Post 2530 V.F.W. of Wellsville and was a former long time member of I.A.M. local 1580. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Charles (Carol) Speta of Lansing and Steven (Barbara) Speta of Petersburg, Va.; three daughters, Donita (Roy) Miles of Del City, Okla., Sandra (Richard) Rahn of East Aurora and Louise Reger of Buffalo; several grand and great grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil (Gertrude) Potter of Belmont and Wendell (Cathy) Norton of Friendship; two sisters, Thelma Horton of Belmont and Irma (Marion) Numeracki of Belmont; an aunt, Dorothy Thomas of Scio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by a daughter, Henrietta Smith and a son, Wilfred R. Norton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Wellsville, where services will be at 2 p.m. Friday.
Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial in Fairlawn Cemetery.
