Emma T. Stone
ERIE - Emma T. Stone, 53, of 15 E. 31st St., formerly of Jamestown, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 13, 1999) in her home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1945, in Salamanca, the daughter of the late Windsor and Nellie Mitten Snow.
She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and had been employed as a data entry clerk at the Erie Insurance Group. She had also worked at Automatic Voting Machine Co. in Jamestown.
She was a member of the Deer Clan of the Lower Cayuga Nation and the Horseshoe Club of Erie.
Surviving are a son, CW2 James M. Stone, who served in the Army in Korea; five sisters: Clausie Szarowicz, Mabel and Rita Snow, all of Jamestown, Olive Buck of Salamanca and Caroline Smith of Albuquerque, N.M.; and a brother, Neal Snow of Salamanca.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Stone; a sister, Harriet Carbajal; and a brother, Gerald Snow. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Coldspring Longhouse.
Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral service Wednesday in the Coldspring Longhouse.
Brace J. Young
LITTLE VALLEY - Brace J. Young, 87, of Milks Adult Home, Allegany Road, formerly of Parker Hill, Randolph, died Saturday (Nov. 13, 1999) in the Olean General Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1919, in Randolph, the son of the late Judson and Anna Brace Young.
He was a dairy farmer for 25 years and had worked at the Metallic Ladder Co. in Randolph for 20 years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he will be remembered for his woodworking and gardening. He enjoyed music and was a gifted violinist and piano restorer and tuner.
Surviving are a son, Judson J. Young of South Dayton; a daughter, Martha Hoag of Rochester, Minn.; four granddaughters: Brittany Hansen of Philadelphia, Tara Griffin of Miami, Elizabeth Carhart of Flemington, N.J., and Katherine Hoag of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and a sister, Grace Nyberg of East Dennis, Mass.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Althea M. Newton, whom he married Nov. 13, 1940, and who died May 13, 1998; two brothers: Russell and Clayton Young; and one sister, Edith Martin. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Randolph. The Rev. Dale E. Moore will officiate.
Burial will be in Steamburg Cemetery. Friends will be received form 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph, and for one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Randolph Special Project Fund.
Aimee Jo Setera
DUNKIRK - Aimee Jo Setera, 21, of Swan Street, died Saturday (Jan. 29, 2000) as a result a injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 14, 1978, in Honolulu, the daughter of Gregory Meadows of Dunkirk and Denise Michalak of Sinclairville.
A Chautauqua County resident most of her life, she attended Cassadaga Valley Central School from 1989 to 1994 and was a 1996 graduate of Dunkirk High School with honors. While at Cassadaga she served as treasurer for the Future Farmers of American. She had previously attended Jamestown Community College and had been employed by Pizza Hut in Fredonia. She would have started a new job on Monday with Carrie Allen of Williamsville as a receptionist.
She was a ten-year member of the Cassadaga Memorial Post 1280 American Legion Auxiliary and had become a senior member in October of 1999.
She was a member and leader in training for AWANA in Stockton and Brocton.
She enjoyed karate and was a brown belt. She also enjoyed ice and roller skating.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband of six months, Scott Setera, whom she married July 17, 1999; her stepmother Peggy Wright Meadows; her stepfather, Paul Michalak; two brothers: Aaron Meadows and Andrew Lanski, both of Sinclairville; three stepsisters: Patricia Claybrooke and Melinda Gill, both of Dunkirk and Colleen Whitehead of Forestville; her grandparents: Willis Meadow Sr. of Fredonia and Eleanor Burley Meadow of Fredonia; Albert and Norma Holtz Holcomb of Ruskin, Fla. and Mary MacCubbin of Fredonia; her step-grandmother, Vilma Michalak of Cassadaga; and her step great-grandfather, Stanley Holtz of Ruskin.A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated at 11a.m. Wednesday in St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, Route 20, Sheridan. The Rev. Gerald P. Sheehan and deacon John Setera, her father-in-law, will officiate.
Burial will be in Cassadaga Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.

Angeline Galati
Angeline "Angie" Galati, of Tanglewood Manor, formerly of 220 Hazzard St., died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 30, 2000) in WCA Hospital.A native of Jamestown, she was born Feb. 26, 1906, the daughter of the late Sebastian and Concetta Conti Ciancio.
She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church.She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren and as a devoted Elvis Presley fan. She also loved to crochet and cook for her family.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol J. Zeolle of Jamestown; a son, Sandy Galati of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Don Zeolle, Dori Rickerson and Debra Fields, all of Jamestown, Lizbeth and Kristiann Galati, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Anthony Ciancio of Jamestown and Joseph Reale of Bemus Point.

Beatrice P. Anderson
Beatrice P. Anderson, 94, formerly of 87 E. Summit Ave., Lakewood, died at 6:35 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 29, 2000) in Lawson Care Center.A Jamestown resident since 1926, she was born Nov. 11, 1905, in Union City, Pa., the daughter of Grove and Mina Gardner Phelps.
She was the widow of Henry L. Anderson, whom she married August 21, 1937, and who died June 9, 1987.
She was a 1923 graduate of Union City High School and a 1925 graduate of Jamestown Business College.
She was a 30 year employee of Jamestown Mutual Insurance, retiring in 1963.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and the Busti Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two nieces: Phyllis A. Urbanic of Bemus Point and Anne H. Peterson of Jamestown.The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home.

Garth W.N. Shafer, infant, of 26 Stowe St., died Saturday (Jan. 29, 2000) in Buffalo Children’s Hospital.
He was born April 27, 1999, in Buffalo, the son of Michelle L. Shafer.
Besides his mother he is survived by his grandmother, Susan E. Shafer of Jamestown; his grandfathers: Gordan D. Pangborn of Jamestown and Kenneth J. Joyce H. Passinger, 60, of 145 Hazeltine Ave., formerly of 237 Barrett Ave., died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 29, 2000) in Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility.A life long resident, she was born April 23, 1939, in Jamestown, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Kenyen Hanson.
She was a 1957 graduate of Jamestown High School and was employed as a policy checker for the former Jamestown Mutual Insurance Co.
She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Bemus Point and the Handicap Parents of Jamestown.
She was an avid follower of Bambino Baseball and loved to collect Beanie Babies.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew S. Passinger whom she married March 1, 1969; a son, Erick Chandler Passinger of Jamestown; a brother, Ken Hanson of Jamestown; and a sister, Pat Erickson of Tonawanda.The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
