Gilligan, John R., of Greenhurst, died Jan. 26, 2000. He was born Dec. 24, 1908, the son of Joseph and Lavinia Norton Gilligan. Surviving are a son, Richard "John" Gilligan; and two daughters: Sue Blair and Sally Lyons. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Julie Cullen and Mary Dahlbeck. Interment was in Fluvanna Cemetery.
Booth, William, 72, of Westfield, died Jan. 26, 2000 in his home. He was born Nov. 4, 1927, the son of Adelaide Lanz Booth and the late William Booth, Sr. Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister, Cynthia Jennings. Burial was in Pittsburgh.
Chambers, Arthur LeGrande, 85, of Mayville, died Jan. 27, 2000 in his home. He was born Apr. 28, 1914, the son of Arthur L. and Isabelle McMahon Chambers. Surviving are eight daughters: Patricia Kalish, Judith Chambers, Jane Chambers, Anne Chambers, Molly Offermannm Sarah Chambers, Bridget Sukys, and Melissa Wymer; and four sons: A. Andrew, William, Robert, and Charles Chambers. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Harriette Chambers.
Dalrymple, Virginia H., 81, of Sugar Grove, died Jan. 27, 2000. She was born Aug. 9, 1918, the daughter of Clyde Thorpe and Helen Beard. Surviving are two brothers: James and Melvin Thorpe. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Darymple; and four brothers: Lewis, Trevor, Donald and Leighton Thorpe. Burial was in Wrightsville Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his father, who died in 1988. Burial was in Fredonia.

Burial was in Warren County Memorial Park.
