Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Schiedel, Robert William, 73, of Jefferson, Ohio, died Jan 30, 2000 in Ashtabula County Medical Center. He was born Feb. 10, 1926, the son of John and Frankie Joliffe Schiedel. Surviving are a son, William Schiedel; and a daughter, Barbara Wright. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Brenkus Schiedel, two sons: Charles Harold and Robert W. Schiedel; seven sisters: Ida Mae and Betty Schiedel, Margaret Coy, Doris Sherman, Eleanor Waltari, Gertrude Faulkerson and Beatrice Slater; and a brother, Norman Schiedel. Burial was in Plymouth Township, Ohio.
Portman, Jean, 91, formerly of Westfield, died Jan. 29, 2000 in Ocala, FL. She was born Feb. 23, 1908, the daughter of Stephen and Ann Gratok Burdis. Surviving are two sons: John and Joseph Portman; and two daughters: Judy Harken and Joan Grant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Portman; and seven brothers and sisters. Burial was in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.
Wells, Claude E., 90, formerly of Cheney’s Point, died Jan. 20, 2000 in Orange Park, FL. He was born Sept. 6, 1909 in Holcomb, NY, the son of Leo and Lida Murray Wells. Surviving are his wife, May Aronson Wells, whom he married Jan. 30, 1937; a daughter, Claudine L. Holmes; and a sister, Elizabeth Bunnell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Wells. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Washic, George, 78, of Warren, died Jan. 31, 2000 in Warren. He was born Aug. 4, 1921, the son of John and Helen Russin Washic. Surviving are his wife, Christine Bungo Washic; a son, Baron G. Washic; a daughter, Kathy Reynolds; and a sister, Christine Sanko. He was preceded in death by seven brothers: Alex, Andrew, Charles, John, Michael, Peter, and Steven; and five sisters: Anna, Catherine, Madaline, Mary and Susan. Burial was in the church Cemetery, Madera, PA.
Incitto, Vincent J., 72, of Dunkirk, died Jan. 21, 2000. He was born Nov. 12, 1927 in Fredonia, the son of Felix and Jennie Crise Incitto. Willink, Raymond L., 79, of Clymer, died Feb. 6, 2000 in his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1920, the son of Leigh and Addie Dunnewold Willink. Surviving are his wife, Doris Raymond Willink; a son, Norvel Willink; three daughters: Shirley Wilson, Charlene Kidder, and Connie Aikens; and two brothers: Gilbert and the Rev. Alvin Willink. Roth, Helen H., 89, formerly of Wesleyville, PA., died Feb. 5, 2000 in the Ball Pavilion. She was born in Smethport, PA on May 4, 1910, the only daughter of Sanford and Emma Herzog Fry. Surviving are two daughters: Barbara Braley and Donna Sedelmyer; and a son, Howard Roth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hubert Roth. Burial was in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
