Michael; two daughters: Hazel Britt and Gladys Riechard; and two sisters: Vivian Peterson and Kathryn Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ludwig R. Michael, in 1994; a son, Leonard Michael; an infant daughter; and a sister, Alberta F. Michael. Burial was in the Ross Mills Cemetery.
Kofod, Rita McMullen Fisher, 75, formerly of Salamanca, died Feb. 3, 2000 in her home. She was born June 7, 1924 in Salamanca, a daughter of Norman and Anna Thompson McMullen. Surviving are her husband, Sheldon W. Kofod; a son, Richard Fisher; five daughters: Joyce Walsh, Barbara VanBuren, Rosanne Davis, Martha Livermore, and Gail John; two stepdaughters; a stepson; and a sister, Norma Emborski. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Plonka; five sisters: Theresa Wrona, Mary Rupple, Lois Blodgett, Margaret Schupenhauer, and Florence McMullen; and three brothers: William. Paul, and John McMullen. Burial was in Salamanca.
Mattison, Margaret A., 92, formerly of Jamestown and Lakewood, died Feb. 11, 200, the daughter of Johan August Anderson. Surviving are three sons: Marshall E., Charles "Jerry", and James M. Mattison. She was preceded in death by Charles M. Mattison; and three brothers: Everett, Charles, and Paul Anderson.
Flick, Marjorie S., 78, of Warren, died Feb. 1, 2000. She was born Feb. 12, 1921, daughter of Charles Smith and Esther Honhart. Surviving are a son, David Flick; four daughters: Sarah Flick, Deborah Andersen, Rebecca McGlynn, and Patricia Reynolds; three sisters: Ruth Morris, Pauline VanVolkenburg, and Dorothy Bowser; and one brother, Allen Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard O. Flick; two brothers: Charles and Robert Smith; and one sister, Barbara Olson. Burial was in Warren County Memorial Park.
Smith, Alma E., 96, of South Dayton, Died Feb. 2, 2000 in Silver Creek. She was born Dec. 10, 1903, daughter of William and Lydia Richards Wright. Surviving are a son, Rolland W. Smith; and a sister, Lydia Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Charles Smith; a son, William L. Smith; two brothers: Arthur and William Smith; and a sister, Marion Pagett. Burial was in South Dayton.
Andrea, Caroline M., 85, of Ellicottville, died Feb. 2, 2000 in Salamanca. She was born June 29, 1914, daughter of Martin and Louise Trautman Ploetz. Surviving are two sons: Frances and David Anders; four daughters: Helen Lincoln, Barbara Allen, Carole Hansen, and Joyce Hines; two brothers: William James and Raymond Ploetz; and three sisters: Gladys Phinney, Beatrice Darcey, and Esther Fleckenstein. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fran Andrea, in 1981; and a son, Philip Andrea, in 1965. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery in Springville.
Espada, Ralph C., 83, of Westfield, died Feb. 2, 2000 in his home. He was born Oct. 24, 1916 in Puerto Rico, the son of Manuel Cardona and Josefa Espada. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Espada; his second wife, Esther Dedrick Espada; eight sisters; and five brothers.
McKendree, Theodore James, Jr., 57, of Sugar Grove, died Feb. 2, 2000 in Warren. He was born Nov. 7, 1942, the son of the late Theodore James and Alice Shay McKendree. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Anna Shaffer McKendree; a son, Theodore James McKendree III; one daughter, Ethel Grace Brown; five half-brothers: Chester, Charles, Emmett, Richard, and Ralph Sheets; and a half-sister, Myrtle Gadley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Chamberlain.
House, Harold Campbell, 77, of Randolph, died Feb. 2, 2000 in Englewood, FL. He was born Dec. 24, 1922, the son of Harry and Frances Paine House. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Janet Hoitink House; three daughters: Marsha Hinman, Patricia Gustafson and Lydia Mosgeller; two sons: H. Jeffrey and David F. House; and a sister, Dorothy Crisjohn. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry House. Burial was in Randolph Cemetery.
Gleason, Ruth A., 80, of Panama, died Feb. 2, 2000. She was born Feb. 5, 1919 in Harmony, daughter of Loren B. and Rena C. Whitford Smith. She was the widow of Paul R. Gleason, who died in 1973. Surviving are four daughters: Helen G. Summers, Shirley Bahriak, Patricia Smith and Katherine Auria; five brothers: Arthur, Willard, Robert, Leon and George Smith; and two sisters: Isabelle Howard and Mary Smith. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Earl, Loren, and Lawrence Smith; and two sisters: Lillian Gustafson and Pearl Snow. Burial was in Panama Greenwood Cemetery.
Munafo, Carl J., 82, died Feb. 3, 2000, in Jamestown. He was born Dec. 5, 1917, the son of Frank and Grace LaMarca Munafo. Surviving are his wife, the former Grace C. Letta; two daughters: Janice Gangloff and Frances Kowalewski; two sisters: Gertrude Sanfilippo and Claudia Munafo. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Mattay. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Carlson, David Ernest, 65, of Jamestown, died Feb. 3, 2000. He was born May 9, 1934, the son of Maurice and Lorinda Lindquist Carlson. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Suzanne Louise Carlson, who died in 1941.

He was predeceased by two sisters: Catherine Snyder and Julie McCarthy; and a brother, William Snyder. Burial was in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.
