Waid, Violet M., 82, died Feb. 12, 2000 in her residence. She was born Sept. 25, 1917, a daughter of the late Ralph and Ellen Johnson Gregory. Surviving are her husband, Lavern Waid; a son, Ronald Waid; and three daughters: Beverly E. Miles, Connie L. Fuller, and Terry E. Waid. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a brother, Leroy Gregory. Burial was in Fentonville Cemetery.
Moyer, David Edward, Jr., of Cattaraugus, died Feb. 14, 2000, in Elmira. He was born Feb. 5, 1975 in Buffalo, the son of Donald B. and Elizabeth E. Evans Moyer, Sr. Surviving are four brothers: Robert, David E., Donald B. and James Moyer. Burial was in Otto Cemetery.
Barrett, David "Ralph", 95, of Corry, died Feb. 22, 2000. He was born Aug. 3, 1904 in Sherman, the son of Elias and Myrtle Waterman Barrett. Surviving are two sons: Raymond and James Barrett; and three half-sisters: Edith Geer, Natalie Madison, and Beatrice Burtner. Burial was in Bear Lake, PA.
Newton, Irene M., 85, formerly of Dunkirk, died Feb. 21, 2000 in Irving. She was born June 30, 1914, the daughter of Reuben and Florence Smith Newton. Surviving is a cousin. Burial was in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.

Steucke, Mary B., 89, of Gerry, died Feb. 16, 2000. She was born May 4, 1910, the daughter of Calvin and Emily Peverill Butts. Surviving is a daughter, Alice Carol D’Agostino. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Theodore C. Steucke. Burial was in Gerry Cemetery.
Cresanti, Stella J. Gaster, 83, died Feb. 22, 2000. She was born Nov. 16, 1916, the daughter of Orrin and Elizabeth Remlinger Gaster. Surviving are her husband, Joseph C. Cresanti; two sons: Samuel and Donald Cresanti; a daughter: Joyce Samuelson; and a sister, Germaine Ryan. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Maruillus, Clement and Eugene Gaster; and two sisters: Cyrilla and Vivian Gaster. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Person, Jane E., 75, of Jamestown, died Feb. 23, 2000 in her home. She was born Feb. 19, 1925, the daughter of John and Lillie Ridenbaugh Baltzell. Surviving are her husband, Oscar Person; two sons: John and Richard Yaggie; and a sister, Thelma Hines. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Yaggie; a daughter, Karen Yaggie; and a sister, Bernice Rose. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery.
Triscari, Joseph T., Jr., 91, died Feb. 23, 2000 in Jamestown. He was born May 4, 1908, the son of Joseph and Bessie Parasiliti Triscari, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Ethelyn Voss Triscari; two daughters: June Pettit and Joyce Griggin; a son, Joseph T. Triscari III; and five sisters: Angeline Forti, Lena Triscari, Josephine Vullo, Margaret Leone, and Frances Nagel. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Parasiliti Triscari; and two sisters: Rose Russo and Bessie Griffreda. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Kays, Mary E., 88, of Warren, died Feb. 23, 2000. She was born May 19, 1911, the daughter of Thomas Grace and Louise McGeary Grace Graham. Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Ciprich; and two sons: Gary and Charles Kays. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Richard J. Kays.
Gebauer, Patricia, 69, of Gowanda, died Feb. 24, 2000 in Gowanda. She was born Dec. 6, 1930 in Salamanca, the daughter of Wellington and Lillian Hart Gogel. Surviving are four sons: John C., Wayne D., Richard W., and Dale R. Gebauer; three daughters: Luanne VanCuren, Nellie Hebdon, and Diane Abramowski; two brothers: Chris and David Gogel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Gebauer; two sons: Mark and Bryan Gebauer; and a brother, Daniel Gogel.
Costa, Charles, 66, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Lakewood, died Feb. 18, 2000. He was born in Sicily. Surviving are his wife, Clothilda Piazza Costa; a daughter, Marie Grace Costa; a brother, Phillippe Costa; and two sisters: Giovanna Costa-Dell’Aia of Italy and Rosetta Scelso. Burial was in Milan, Italy.
Weinstein, Ruth I., 92, of Chevy Chase, MD, formerly of Jamestown, died Feb. 25, 2000 in Chevy Chase. She was born Feb. 19, 1908, the daughter of Abram and Fannie Gottlieb Immerman. She was the widow of Julius C. Weinstein. Surviving are a son: Dr. Brian Weinstein; and a daughter, Lois Weinstein. Burial was in Temple Hesed Abraham Cemetery.
Nazzaro, James, 88, of Riverside, CA, died Feb. 20, 2000. He was born Jan 7, 1912 in Jamestown, the son of Anthony and Anna Baney Nazzaro. Surviving are nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Vester Nazzaro; four brothers: Constance Zannelli, Antoinette Acquisto, Minnie Colera, and Mary Farace. Services were in California.
Lindgren, Lori P., 36, died Feb. 23, 2000 in Buffalo. She was born Sept. 21, 1963, the daughter of Fred Trace and Katie Lawson Burdic. She was the wife of James F. Lindgren II. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Marc L. Burdic; a daughter, Ashley E. Lindgren; a sister, Jodi L. Washburn; a brother, Robert Buehl; her mother; her stepfather; and her father. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Lindell, Shirley M., 60, of Jamestown, died Feb. 24, 2000 in her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1939m the daughter of the late Eugene R. and Evelyn Johnson Olson. Surviving are her husband, Oke G. Lindell; six daughters: Patricia Lee Blanco, Kim Marie Mason, Shirley Emily VanOrd, Tammy Lynn Gronquist, Lori Ann Chesney, and Sherry Evelyn Kedrowski; two brothers: Robert E. and Edward Olson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wesley F. Gronquist; and a sister, Muriel Olson. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery.
