U.S., Obituary Collection, 1930-Current

Wegg, Dr. Arthur Harrison, 79, of Warren, died Feb. 26, 2000.
He was born June 24, 1920, the son of George and Annette Harrison Wegg.
Surviving are two daughters: Hazel and Annette Wegg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Skillman Wegg.
Burial was in Westview Cemetery, Warren.

Brown, Ralph Chauncey, 82, of South Dayton, died Feb. 19, 2000.
He was born Sept. 6, 1917, a son of the late Chauncey and Agnes Simpson Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Bennett VanBuren Brown; five sons: Michael, Randy, Dean, Rex, and Dr. Timothy Brown; two daughters: Deary Panek and Vicki Laubscher; two brothers: Robert and Howard Brown; and three sisters: Elizabeth Blankenship, Alberta Saunders, and Janet Grace.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Brown; and a sister, Evelyn Wood.

Nodzak, Joseph T., 72, of Erie, died Feb. 27, 2000.
He was born Apr. 23, 1927, the son of John and Helen Miskoveck Nodzak.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Nicalo; two sons: Donald and Thomas Nodzak; and three sisters: Josephine Mikan, Vera Manno, and Helen Bunk.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: John, Adam, Steve, and Anthony Nodzak.
Burial was in Warren.

Baldwin, Aubrey, 91, of Dunkirk, died Feb. 26, 2000 in Dunkirk.
He was born June 18, 1908, in the town of Pomfret, the son of Myrl and Georgina Stebbings Baldwin.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Best; two brothersr: David and Norman Baldwin; and two sisters: Lucile Brown and Marian Nelson.

Flasher, Warren W., 78, of Sugar Grove, Feb. 28, 2000, in Erie.
He was born Sept. 18, 1921, son of George Bert Fisher.
Surviving are two sons: Dave Flasher and Chris Lechner; and a brother, Albert Flasher.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Flasher; two brothers: Delmar and Floyd Flasher; and a sister, Mabel Cabel.
Burial was in Stilson Hill Cemetery.

Wroblewski, Laura, 72, of Youngsville, died Feb. 29, 2000 in Warren.
She was born Nov. 15, 1927 in OK, the daughter of LaVern and Pauline Grady Bailey.
Surviving are a son, Bruce Wroblewski; a daughter, Barbara Cage; and two brothers: Robert and Dale Grady.
Burial was in Warren.

Lucas, Esther Linea Lindmark, 97, of Warren, died Feb. 29, 2000 in Warren.
She was born May 17, 1902, the daughter of Charles and Ida Rhenberg Lindmark.
Surviving are two sisters: Rosa Black and Lillian Edgett.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Eleanor Heilbrun; two sisters: Viola and Harriet Lindmark; and three brothers: Carl, Edwin and Joseph Lindmark.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Costa, Sarah Mary, 90, formerly of Jamestown and Westfield, died Feb. 24, 2000 in San Diego, CA.
She was born July 16, 1909, in Italy, a daughter of Santo and Libby Rizzo.
Surviving are a daughter, Libby Costa; and a son, Michael Costa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Jones.
Burial was in San Marcos Cemetery.

Wills, Dr. Renon, 45, of Brighton, NY, died Feb. 29, 2000.
She was born Feb. 26, 1955, a daughter of Robert and Ertem Wills.
Surviving besides her parents, are a daughter, Emily Ertem Wills; a son, Peter Elder Wills; and two brothers: Peter L. and Orhan E. Beckman. Burial was in Westfield Cemetery.

Pagano, Joseph S., 83, of Sheridan, died Feb. 2, 2000.
He was born May 4, 1916, in Silver Creek, a son of Joseph and Lena Ortolano Pagano.
Surviving are two daughters: Linda Williams and Nancy Wagner; three sisters: Lena Bifaro, Celia Peterson, and Sis Calcott; and five brothers: Charles, Steven, Carmello "James", Marion, and Salvatore Pagano.
Burial was in Sheridan.

Keding, DeEtta, 81, of Glendora, CA, died Feb. 28, 2000.
She was born Aug. 10, 1918 in Jamestown, the daughter of Alfred and Lillian Noren Grundstrom.
Surviving are two daughters: Carol S. and Nancy D. Keding; a sister, Janette Faulk; and a brother, Paul Grundstrom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert M. Keding; and a brother, Eugene Grundstrom.
Burial was in California.

Broadley, Jane G., 72, of Westfield, died Mar. 1, 2000.
She was born Oct. 31, 1928, daughter of Harvey Broadley and Florence Mae Carmichael.
Surviving are several cousins.

Wells, William M., 68, of Dunkirk, died Mar. 2, 2000 in his home. He was born Aug. 3, 1931 in Buffalo, the son of the late Chester O. and Marjorie M. Mansfield Wells. Surviving are his wife, Janet C. McMinn Wells; two sons: William C. and Robert M. Wells; and a daughter, Susan L. Wells. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Pratt, Effie K., 81, formerly of Bemus Point, died Mar. 2, 2000.
She was born Feb. 10, 1919 in Erie, a daughter of John and Clara Stewart McKellop.
Surviving are a son, Jack Pratt; two daughters: Judith Schafer and Kathryn Frias; and two brothers: John and George McKellop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Pratt; and three brothers.

Francen, Paul Laurence, 87, of Warren, died Mar. 2, 2000.
He was born Oct. 23, 1912, the son of Swan August and Mary Caroline Skoolund Francen.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann Hackman Francen.

Kohlhagen, Brian R., 53, of Cassadaga, died Mar. 2, 2000.
He was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Cleveland, the son of Harold and E. Lillian Cunlisse Kohlhagen.
Besides his parents, surviving are his wife, Janice L. Frey Kohlhagen; two daughters: Patti Linn Fenner and Nanci J. Brassow; two brothers: Thomas and Steven Kohlhagen; and two sisters: Bonnie Wrobel and Tara Colson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy B. Kohlhagen.
