(nee Podoba) January 25, 2002, of Orchard Park, NY; beloved wife of Joseph A.; dearest mother of Shirley (David) Kaczanowski; daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (nee Jusczyk) Podoba; sister of Tessie (late John) Williams and the late Matthew (late Helen), Gertrude (late Bronislaus) Chojnacki, Joseph, Stephen (late Jean), Edward (late Mildred), Teddy and Zigmund; also survived by nieces and nephews. Services from the COLONIAL MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC., 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna, NY, Monday morning at 8:30 and from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 9. Visitation Sunday only 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

BERNHARDT - Helen M. (Rugg) 1/25/2002
January 24, 2002, beloved wife of the late Nicholas; dear mother of Christine (Mayer) Joseph Allen, Cynthia (Joseph) Dretzel, Deborah (Angelo) DiPasquale; grandmother of Paul Mayer, Sandina, Angela and Maria DiPasquale; sister of Gerald (Laura) Rugg, Gordon (Charlotte) Rugg, Ethel (John) Bingenheimer; sister-in-law of Anne (Ray) Hertel. Friends may call at the JAMES E. GRACE FUNERAL HOME INC., 335 Ontario St., Saturday 2-5 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where Funeral Services will be held Monday at 9:30 and a Mass of Christian Burial in All Saints Church, 205 Esser, at 10 AM. Donations may be made to the OCCS Oncology Center, 2960 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore, NY 14217.

(nee Antonuccio) Age 88, of Brant, NY, January 25, 2002; wife of the late N.F. Chiavetta; beloved mother of Anna M. Chiavetta, Anthony N. Chiavetta (Marjorie Stewart), Marguerite A. Rammacher (Warren), Carol A. Schillace, John J. (Mary Ann), and David (Lisa) Chiavetta; sister of the late Pauline Mango, Peter, John, and Mary Antonuccio; also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 2-7 PM at the HEIMBURG-ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, 262 Main St., Angola, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Brant, NY (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farnham Volunteer Fire Company Rescue Squad.

DANIELS - Thomas John 1/26/2002 January 25, 2002 of Lackawanna NY; son of the late John and Mary (Gorman) Daniels; beloved brother of Mary Beth (John) Bartus; dear uncle of Annemarie, Steven and Bethanne Bartus; nephew of Geraldine Hanley. Friends will be received Sunday only from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the CURTIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1340 Union Rd., West Seneca where services will be held Monday at 8:45 AM and from Our Mother of Good Counsel Church at 9:30 AM. Mr. Daniels was a member of American Legion Post #63. Flowers gratefully declined.

January 24, 2002, wife of the late Augustine M. Doherty; mother of Michael J. (Jean A.) and David W. Doherty; sister of John, Paul (Ethel), Delores Watkins, Lawrence (Margaret) and the late Thomas Kirsch. The family will be present to receive friends Monday 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St. (at Cayuga Rd.) Williamsville where a memorial service will follow at 8:30 PM. January 24, 2002, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved wife of the late Raymond; dearest mother of Patricia Witkowski (James Garbarino); fond grandmother of Melissa Mary (Thomas) Fernandes and Rebecca Anne Witkowski; sister of Sister Mary Anise C.S.S.F., Rose Imiola; predeceased by Sister Mary Seraphine C.S.S.F., Rita Backlas, Celia Kazmierczak and Joseph Zimmerman; survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Monday at 9 AM and from Most Holy Redeemer Church at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

FOGARTY - Emily E. (nee Ellis) 1/26/2002
Of Amherst, NY, January 25, 2002, beloved wife of the late Gordon L. Fogarty; dear mother of Linda F. (Gary) Scott; and Lana D. Fogarty (Michael Nowak); grandmother of Jeffrey and Matthew; daughter of the late Levi B. and Emily (Cunningham) Ellis; sister of Eileen (Don) Palmatier and the late George (Virginia), Richard (Dorothy) Ellis, Leonette (Jack) Gorton; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Fogarty was a member of the American Legion A.J. Jurek #1672 Ladies Auxiliary, Amherst Senior Citizens and enjoyed playing Bingo and the slots. Arrangements by ERIE COUNTY CREMATION SERVICE (824-6435).
