September 8, 2002, of West Seneca, NY, beloved husband of Anna (nee Wlashchuk); dear father of Robert (Alice), Henry (Ronna), Mary Ann (Robert) Kaszubowski and Andrew (Linda) Bialek; brother of Stanley (late Sophie) Bialek, Frances Bialek and the late Sophie Bialek; also survived by 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service commencing at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (two blocks south of William St.), Wednesday at 9:15 AM and at St. Gerard's Church at 10 AM. Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family present Tuesday only 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Peter was an upholsterer for Kittinger Furniture for over 47 years.
BOWMAN - Donald E., Sr. 9/8/2002
Age 84 of North Tonawanda. September 7, 2002 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Martha E. (nee Senn) Bowman; father of Donald (Marlene) Bowman of Bellingham, WA, Loyd (Linda) Bowman of Memphis, TN and Gerald (Carol) Bowman Sr. of Wheatfield; grandfather of Gerald Jr. and David Bowman, Dawn Jones, Tracy Walters, Wende Owen, Mark and Kevin Bowman; great-grandfather of 10; brother of Pat (Ernestine) Bowman, Jim (Eleanor) Bowman, Cora Grefath, Clara (Bill) Chandler and the late Grace Krueger and Helen Legg; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Henry and Bertha Bowman. Mr. Bowman was a former employee of Riley Gear Corporation and a life long member of the New Apostolic Church. Friends may call at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME INC., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 AM, the Rev. Robert Meisner will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Smith and the late George, Edward, Grace, Marjorie, Marie, Eliud, Ruth, James and Mabel; also survived by seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
