Of Lancaster-Depew, NY, September 11, 2002, beloved husband of Irene (Schoenthaler) Ventura and the late Rose (Neri) Ventura; loving father of Mary Ann (Joseph) Loffredo and William (Sharon) Schoenthaler; grandfather of Joseph (Michele), Janine (Joseph) Mirabile, John (Jean), James Loffredo, Kim Schoenthaler, Cheryl Reukauf and Gary (Amy) Schoenthaler; great-grandfather of six; brother of Antoinette Ezzo, Anna, Carmen (Feni), Samuel (Eleanor), Millie Catuzzi, Eleanor Olari and the late Joseph (Sylvia). Funeral from the funeral home of WENDEL & LOECHER INC., 27 Aurora St., Lancaster Saturday morning at 9 AM and at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30 AM. Family present Friday only, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. James was a former employee of Dresser Industries, a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society and the Moose & Eagles Lodge.
