The family will present to receive friends Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME INC., 5541 Main St. at Cayuga Rd., Williamsville, where services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church at 9:30. Age 71, of Buffalo, passed Wednesday, May 22, 2003 in Veteran's Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Woodstock, AL. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of 23 years. He was a Senior Meter Reader for National Fuel for 13 years, retiring in 1987. Survivors include his wife, the former Carolyn Parker; one daughter, Deborah Martin-Kimble; three sons, Eddie Lamar, Kevin X. and Daris M., all of Buffalo. Public visitation Tuesday 6-8 PM at PROVIDENCE MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 1275 Sycamore St. where the family will receive friends on Wednesday 10:00 AM. Funeral to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Directed by Brian K. Lewis.
