Age 79, of the City of Tonawanda, suddenly, Monday, December 30, 2002, husband of the late Ada Mae Nugent; son of the late Raymond J. Nugent; father of the late Raymond L. Nugent; beloved father of Robert (Linda) Nugent and Mary (Michael) Hewes; son of Marian Moden; father-in-law of Bertha Nugent; brother of Shirley (late Robert) Wertz and Glenn Nugent; cousin of Doris White; also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, January 3 at 10 AM at the JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda. Private interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Order of Carmelite Retired at age 72, of Nokomis, FL, died in Venice, Florida on December 30, 2002 at Bon Secours Venice Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY. He moved to Nokomis three years ago from Englewood, NJ. He was a Pastor at churches in Houston, TX and Joliet, IL. He was an assistant Pastor in Englewood, NJ and a weekend Pastor at St. Francis of Assisi in Grove City, FL. He graduated from Catholic University of American in Washington, DC with a M.A. degree and graduated from St. Bonaventure in Olean, NY with a B.A. degree. He is survived by his sister, Molly Switzer of Sarasota, FL and brothers, Jeremiah M. O'Leary of Youngstown, NY and Thomas P. O'Leary of Lewiston, NY. A wake service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003 from 4:30-7:30 PM at the Carmel Spiritual Center Chapel, 7021 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow the wake on Friday at 7:30 PM and be offered with the Very Rev. John Russell, Order of Carmelite, provincial superior of the Canadian-American Province, will be the principal celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2003, at 10:00 AM, in the Carmelite section of Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. May he Rest in Peace. Memorial donations can be made to the Mt. Carmel Seminary, c/o Carmel at Mission Valley, 955 E. Laurel Road, Nokomis, FL 34275.
