September 7, 1997, of Buffalo, NY, wife of the late Felix Suchan; mother of Patricia (Robert) Gajkowski, Eileen Wekenmann and Janet (Francisco) Vazquez; grandmother of Anthony, Robert, Amy, Lori and Brianne; sister of Dorothy Smith, Geraldine Goff, Robert O'Neil and the late Frances Wood, Harold O'Neil and Mildred Howard. Family will be present to receive friends Thursday-Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the RAY O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME INC., 2286 South Park Ave., where funeral will be held Saturday morning at 8:45, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Holy Family at 9:30. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Suchan was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and St. Thomas Aquinas Senior Citizens. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Hamburg.

Age 85 of Niagara Falls, Sunday, January 21, 2001 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Gaupmann) of Niagara Falls; also survived by five nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Friends received by the family on Friday, January 26 from 3-5 PM at the BRUNNER FUNERAL HOME, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, where services will be held at 5 PM. The Rev. Charles W. Hobbs, officiating. Mr. Gittins worked for Bell Aerospace and then Sheridan Chrysler Plymouth. He was a member of Fellowship Lodge No. 1175. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
