September 18, 1997, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved husband of Diana (nee Jankowiak); dearest father of David (Judy), Daniel (Deborah), Daryle (Lisa), Deborah (Stephen) Sokolski and Dennis (Julie) Braniecki; survived by six grandchildren; five sisters; one sister-in-law; brothers-in-law; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews; predeceased by a brother, Joseph. Funeral service commencing at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Road, Cheektowaga, (2 blocks south of William St.) Monday morning at 9:30 and at St. Josaphat's Church at 10. Interment in St. Matthew's Cemetery. Mr. Braniecki was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, employee of Worthington Pump and Cheektowaga-Sloan School District and a member of the K. of C. Father Justin Council, 'DADS' of Leonard Post V.F.W. Post, American Legion and the Parish Choir and Holy Name Society (Sunday - 2 PM). Family present Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
