SPENCER - Bradley Robert

Age 22; the grandson of Robert and Marjorie Schultz, longtime residents and teachers in Kenmore; September 19, 1997 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. He was a sales representative for the Unisys Corporation. He was living with his parents Robert and Barbara Spencer in Winnetka, IL. His mother graduated from Kenmore West High School in 1965. Born March 19, 1975 in North Tonawanda, NY, Brad Spencer lived in Larchmont, NY, Dallas, TX, Milan, Italy and Winnetka. He attended the American School of Milan from 1988 to 1992 and graduated from Jesuit College Prep in Dallas in 1993. In May 1997, Brad graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA with a BA in Business Administration. A superb athlete and great competitor, Brad played high school basketball and baseball and played on the Varsity Lacrosse team four years while in college. He frequently played basketball at the Winnetka Community House and had recently joined a lacrosse club in Chicago. He was a senior counselor the summers of 1994 and 1995 at the North Shore Country Day School Day Camp. He was an excellent skier and considered Snowmass, CO a second home. While Brad Spencer was certainly a good student and a fine athlete, he was respected and admired by teammated, classmates, friends and everyone who knew him for his integrity, fairness and kindness. He was loved and admired by young children and his adoring family is extraordinarily proud of him. In addition to his parents, Brad is survived by Brian Spencer, 19, his brother, of Winnetka; Robert and Marjorie Schultz of Kenmore, NY, grandparents; Sylvia and Robert Orton of Little Rock, AR, aunt and uncle; and Kimberly Nguyen, his girlfriend of Reading, PA. A Requiem Eucharist and Interment will be held September 24, 1997 at Christ Church on the Hill, 784 Sheridan Road, Winnetka.
