November 10, 1997, beloved husband of Catherine 'Sis' (Harmon) Murphy; dear father of Patricia (Michael) Manka, Michael (Ann), Mary (Douglas) Rowe, Martin (Lynn), Julie (David) Schwanekamp, Kathleen (Dale) Schwanekamp and the late James D. Murphy; brother of Julia (Michael) Quinn and the late Marie Danieu; loving grandpa of 13 grandchildren. Friends received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the NIGHTENGALE FUNERAL HOME, 1884 South Park Ave., (near Tifft), where services will be held Thursday morning at 9, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from the Church of the Holy Family at 9:30. Friends invited. Mr. Murphy was a member of the D.A.V. Post No. 135, a long time usher at Holy Family Church and a retiree of the Buffalo Water Dept. Flowers gratefully declined. Mass Cards appreciated. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Margaret's Church at 11 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

MERTZ & SON FUNERAL HOME INC., 911 Englewood Ave, Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 9:15 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave) at 9:45 AM. Wojciehowski; several nieces and nephews. Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on September 27, 1997 at St. Stanislaus Cemetary at the Mausoleum. She will be buried with her mother and father.
