September 25, 1997 of Buffalo. Beloved wife of the late Joseph; dearest mother of Robert J. (Arlene) of Staten Island, Flo (Chuck) Schuster, Ellen (Jack) Berner and Shirley 'LuLu' (Dave) Rousseau of Battle Creek, MI.; sister of Louis (Florence) and the late Jacob (Mary), John Rappa and Helen Monaghan. Mrs McCann is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and predeceased by one granddaughter, Jennifer Berner. Family present to receive friends Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the South Buffalo Chapel of the JOSEPH K. QUINN FUNERAL HOME INC., 192 Abbott Rd. (near Southside Pkwy.) where funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 8:45 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agatha's Church at 9:30. Friends invited. Mrs. McCann was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens at both St. Agatha's and St. Thomas Aquina Churches. Memorials to the Hospice Foundation appreciated. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

September 25, 1997, beloved wife of Walter; dear mother of Sharon (Mark) Gelotte and Kathryn (Robert) Simonson; grandmother of Amy, Timothy, Ryan and Erin; sister of Anna (late Henry) Bartkowiak, Helen Wasiewicz and the late Joseph (late Jean), John, Thaddeus (late Helen); also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral from the PACER FUNERAL HOME INC, 2275 George Urban Blvd, (2 blocks east of Dick Rd) Monday 9:30 and St. Peter & Paul Church, 10 AM. Friends invited. Family present Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mrs. Plecha was a member of the Parish Rosary Society and past officer of Twin Village VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

September 25, 1997, beloved husband of Geraldine 'Jerry' Santella; dear father of Donna (Edward) McKee of Danbury, CT and the late Diane Santella; grandfather of Scott (Jennifer), Todd, Randy and Corp. Chad Mckee; brother of the late Rose Gerhard and Min Santella. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME INC., 5541 Main St. (at Cayuga Rd.) Williamsville. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, Monday morning at 9:30. Mr. Santella was a veteran of WW II and employed by the Park Club for over 30 years. Flowers declined. Memorials may be made to St. Aloysius Church.

September 24, 1997 of East Aurora, NY; husband of the late Marie Kildahl Sprenger; father of Karen Ann Rulison (James), Marcia L. Skuse (Robert), and Pamela Lynn Sprenger; brother of Elizabeth West (John), Marjorie Hambleton (Herbert) and the late Catherine Kirch; also survived by five grandchildren. Dear friend of Carol M. Berry. No prior visitation. Memorial service Friday October 3, 1997 at 11 AM from the KENNETH HOWE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 64 Maple St., East Aurora, NY. Lawrence T. Howe Director. Friends are invited. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY will be private. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

September 24, 1997, husband of Eve (Villafranca) and the late Sophie (Condal) Vungaro; father of Pauline (Larry) Cataldi, Eileen (Gary) Szymanski and Rosanne (Russell) Tabone; papa of Al, Roselle (John), Tammy, Russell Jr., Evie, Laura, Toni, Mark, Brian and great grandson Matthew; brother of the late Rose Guglieomo, Josephine Bova, Thomas and Vincent Vungaro; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family present Thursday evening 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the PERNA FUNERAL HOME INC, 1306 Hertel Ave, (near Colvin Ave) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Margaret's Church at 11 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

September 23, 1997 of Buffalo, NY, beloved husband of Shirley (Brill) Wassman; dear father of Christine (Michael) Balley, Karen (Edward) VanderMale, Kathleen (Gary) Weir and the late Stepen; dearest grandfather of Douglas, Dyane, Samantha and Andrea; son of the late Carl and Margaret (Keppler) Wassman; brother of Joanne and the late Howard Wassman. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Saturday morning September 27, 1997, in St. Ambrose Church at 9:30.
