Of Hamburg, NY; Suddenly September 25, 1997; beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Cavanaugh) Brooks; dearest brother of Ann (late Joseph) Prasnjak and Julia (John) Rodda; uncle of Joseph F. Prasnjak and Beverly (William F.) Crary. A private graveside service was held at Lakeside Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by the (Hamburg Chapel) of the JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME INC.

KRAMER - Karen E. (Green)

September 26, 1997. Formerly of Grand Island. Mother of Kelly Marie and Matthew Charles Kramer, both of Grand Island; daughter of Donald H. Green of Pittsburgh and Doris A. Green of Grand Island; sister of Kathi A. (Tom) James of Grand Island, Kay L. Spirnock of New Kensington, PA and Richard D. (Lori) Green of Iowa City, Iowa; also survived by six nieces and nephews; granddaughter of Harry and Lorna Green of Endwell, NY. Friends may call Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the KAISER FUNERAL HOME, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 331 Alberta Dr., Amherst, NY 14226.

McCANN - Frances (Rappa) 'Nana'

September 25, 1997 of Buffalo. Beloved wife of the late Joseph; dearest mother of Robert J. (Arlene) of Staten Island, Flo (Chuck) Schuster, Ellen (Jack) Berner and Shirley 'LuLu' (Dave) Rousseau of Battle Creek, MI.; sister of Louis (Florence) and the late Jacob (Mary), John Rappa and Helen Monaghan. Mrs McCann is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and predeceased by one granddaughter, Jennifer Berner. Family present to receive friends Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the South Buffalo Chapel of the JOSEPH K. QUINN FUNERAL HOME INC., 192 Abbott Rd. (near Southside Pkwy.) where funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 8:45 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agatha's Church at 9:30. Friends invited. Mrs. McCann was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens at both St. Agatha's and St. Thomas Aquina Churches. Memorials to the Hospice Foundation appreciated. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Of Alden, NY, September 26, 1997, beloved husband of Teresa (Fix) Nuwer; dear father of Eugene (Mary) and Elaine Nuwer; grandfather of Jessica and David Nuwer; son of Gladys (late Victor) Nuwer; brother of the late Jean (Frank) Schiralli. A Mass of Christian Burial from St. Johns R.C. Church, Alden, NY, Monday, at 10 AM (assemble at Church). Family present at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 13228 Broadway, Alden, NY, Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

PISKOROWSKI - Lawrence A. Sr.

Of Elma, NY, entered into rest suddenly September 25, 1997. Beloved father of Lawrence Jr., Michael and Brett; devoted son of Dorothy (nee Szewc) and the late Arthur J. Piskorowski; dearest companion of Cheryl Short and her daughter Rebecca; loving brother of Frank (Tanya), Felix (Nadine), Joseph and the late William and Valerie Piskorowski; also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral will be held on Monday morning at 8:15 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 9 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Piskorowski was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lawrence A. Piskorowski Sr. Trust Fund, 90 Winspear Rd., Elma, NY 14059.

September 25, 1997, beloved wife of Walter; dear mother of Sharon (Mark) Gelotte and Kathryn (Robert) Simonson; grandmother of Amy, Timothy, Ryan and Erin; sister of Anna (late Henry) Bartkowiak, Helen Wasiewicz and the late Joseph (late Jean), John, Thaddeus (late Helen); also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral from the PACER FUNERAL HOME INC, 2275 George Urban Blvd, (2 blocks east of Dick Rd) Monday 9:30 and St. Peter & Paul Church, 10 AM. Friends invited. Family present Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mrs. Plecha was a member of the Parish Rosary Society and past officer of Twin Village VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
