Ruth O’Connor
Condolence calls were recently accepted at the family residence of Ruth E. Frank O’Connor, 91, of Hamburg, who died Tuesday, July 17, 2001.
Wife of the late James O’Connor Sr., she is survived by her son, Dr. James (Joyce) O’Connor; daughters, Rosemary (John) McKiernan and Kathleen O’Connor; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. O’Connor was a 1934 graduate of Houghton College.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation.

Elizabeth West
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday (July 30) from St. Mary of the Lake Church for Elizabeth Miller West, 82, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and formerly of Hamburg, who died Wednesday, July 25, 2001.
Wife of the late Richard West, she is survived by her daughters, Betty (Philip) Lurie, Patricia (Robert) McGowan and Barbara West; sister, Sophia (Stanley) Waild; brother, Jacob Miller; and four grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Anna (Wilmer) Voelkerå; and brother, Anthony Miller.
Mrs. West was a retired registered nurse at Mercy Hospital.
Memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery and arrangements were made through the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home.
Lorene Tone
Funeral services were held Tuesday (July 31) from the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home for Lorene M. Keller Tone, 86, of Hamburg, who died Friday, July 27, 2001.
Wife of the late John Tone, she is survived by her sons, Richard, Daniel (Lois) and Douglas (Teresa) Tone; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Clarence and Leland Keller; and sisters, Mildred Gates and Ruth Bley.
Mrs. Tone was an employee of Holiday Inn.

Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Frank Spina
Funeral services were held Wednesday (August 1) from the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home for Frank J. Spina, 75, of Hamburg, who died Sunday, July 29, 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Mirabella Spina; son, Ralph (Judy) Spina; sister, Bertha (late James) Marion; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his sister, Josephine (late Frank) DeMart.
Mr. Spina was an employee at the West Seneca Developmental Center and a member of the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department.
Memorials may be made to the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department.
Final resting place is at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Patrick McGoldrick
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday (July 28) from SS. Peter & Paul Church for Patrick J. McGoldrick, 79, of Hamburg, who died Wednesday, July 25, 2001.
Husband of the late Joyce Corcoran McGoldrick, he is survived by sons, Dennis, William and Michael (Cathleen) McGoldrick; daughter, Patricia (Carl) Morgan; seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Vivian McNeill.
Mr. McGoldrick was a retired iron worker and a member of Iron Workers Local 6. He was a member of the Marine Corps during World War II.

Petrina Krueger
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 6 at 7 p.m. from St. James United Church of Christ for Petrina R. “Peggy” Marini Krueger of Orchard Park, who died Sunday, July 22, 2001.
Wife of the late Edward Krueger, she is survived by her sons, Edward M. (Cora) and Donald A. (Peggy) Krueger; daughter, Mary Elizabeth (late Deane) McEwan; sister, Geraldine McKee; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Marini; and sisters, Yolanda Sulpizio and Estelle Piciulo.
Mrs. Krueger was a member of the Orchard Park Garden Club, the servers of St. James United Church of Christ and a Red Cross volunteer.

Nancy Williamson
Funeral services were held Friday (July 27) from the Froehley-Dengler Funeral Home for Nancy Lingenfelter Williamson, 69, of Hamburg, who died Tuesday, July 24, 2001.
She is survived by her husband, David C. Williamson; sons, David S. and Michael R. Williamson; and one grandchild.
Burial was at Presbyterian Cemetery in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.
