Of the Town of Wheatfield, September 28, 1997, age 72, dear friend and companion of Jackie Boyce of Wheatfield; sister of Phyllis Jerla, JoAnne Mangan, Robert Hillman and the late Laone Maslen; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC, North Fourth and Ridge Sts., Lewiston, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 AM from Prince of Peace R.C. Church, 1040 Cayuga Dr., Niagara Falls. Memorials to The American Diabetes Assn. of WNY or The American Heart Assn.

KNIGHT - Eleanor (nee Sitzman)

September 28, 1997, age 71 of Tonawanda, after a brief illness, wife of the late Raymond I. Knight and the late William F. Ertel; mother of Mrs. Diane (Larry) Kingston, James (Susan), Paul (Diane), Robert (Arlene) and Richard (Amy) Ertel; sister of Mrs. Lauraine Kowsky, Harold (Doris), Russell (Ruth), George and the late William Sitzman; also survived by ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7-9 PM Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME INC., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM Wednesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Francis Chapel on Adam Street, Tonawanda. Friends invited. Mrs. Knight was employed at AM&A's in Northtown Plaza before retiring in 1994 and then was a Classroom Assistant for the North Tonawanda Schools.

Beloved husband of the late Emily (nee Rybak); dearest brother of Florence (Leo) Ochterski, Raymond (Geraldine) Moskal, Frank (Nancy) Moskal and the late Edward (Margaret) Moskal and the late Dorothy (Frank) Pawelczyk; brother-in-law of Joseph (Ann) Rybak, Edward (Virginia) Rybak and Helen (late Stanley) Niegowski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Prayer services commencing at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2047 Broadway, Cheektowaga-Buffalo City Line, Thursday morning at 9 and at St. Andrew's Church at 9:30. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery. Family present Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mr. Moskal was a member of the Frank L. Gierlach American Legion Post and VFW Post No. 355.
