September 29, 1997; in Boston, MA; beloved son of Robert J. and Darlene (Schanne); dear brother of Kelly, Katie and Jeffrey; grandson of Bernice and the late Robert Krueger and Arline and the late Edwin Schanne. Friends received Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the SIECK & MAST FUNERAL HOME, INC., 250 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM from St. John's Lutheran Church, 4536 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scott S. Krueger Memorial Fund, PO Box 1045, Orchard Park, NY 14127. After the interment service, a reception will be held at Orchard Park Volunteer Fire Hall, 30 School St.

PREFONTAINE - Edmond F., Sr.

September 30, 1997, beloved husband of Charlotte (nee Luksch) Prefontaine; dearest father of Carin (Michael) Chmurzynski, Edmond Jr. (Susan B.), Colette (Alan) Cherbow, Carla J. Prefontaine, Celeste (Brian) Baty, Clair R. (Edward) Hurrell and Carolyn E. Prefontaine; grandfather of Catherine, Samantha and Nicholas Prefontaine, Scott and Kevin Cherbow, Courtney, Brandon and Callie Baty; brother of Marguerite (Warner) Edson. The family will be present Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (corner Hopkins Rd.), where funeral services will be held Friday at 8:45 AM and in St. Leo the Great Church at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation.

NIETHE - Margaret C. (Hauenstein)

Of Tonawanda, NY; Age 86; October 1, 1997; wife of the late Otto Niethe; mother of Harold (Lois) Niethe and Mrs. Phyllis (late Donald) Horan; sister of Harold Hauenstein and Marion (Orville) Melbey and the late Edward, George, Elmer and Earl Hauenstein; grandmother of six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME INC., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Friday at 11 AM. If desired memorials may be made to Nazareth Nursing Home, 291 North St. Buffalo. Mrs. Niethe was a member of Rosedale Rebekah Lodge # 386 for fifty plus years.

Friends may call Friday 2-4 PM only at the GAUL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 263 East Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 4, 10 AM at Patrick's Church. Burial at the convenience of the family.

(Frank) Caputy; grandfather of Lee, Anthony, Deanie, Monet and Natalie; great-grandmother of Anthony, Alexis and Alex; daughter of the late James P. and Verna M. Metcalfe Morrison; sister of James P. (Gloria) and the late Frank P. Morrison. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church Saturday, October 4 at 10 AM. September 29, 1997, wife of the late John J.; mother of John (Bonnie), Thomas (Barbara), Patrick (Isabella), Dennis (Maureen), Kevin (Mary Ann), Shannon, Brian (Mary Beth) and Mary Kate Long; also survived by 19 grandchildren; sister of the late Robert, Leonard and Francis Powers. The family will be present at the REDDINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 657 Abbott Rd., Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Husband of Maureen (Bellario) Mantione; father of Laura (William) White, Andrew (Marjorie) Mantione and Sandra Garrison; grandfather of Austin, Ashley White, Melissa and Andreas Mantione; son of the late Henry and Carmela (Palame) Mantione; brother of Jean Mantione and Carrie (Frank) Perez. Family present to receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the PERNA FUNERAL HOME INC., 1306 Hertel Ave. (near Colvin Ave.), where funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated from St. Anthony of Padua Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Mantione was a past president of the West Side Little League Football Club.
