Dorothy B. Campbell, 83, of Little Valley, May 4, 2003, at home. Daughter of the late Arthur A. and Margaret (Farner) Wilbur; wife of Cliff Campbell and the late Arthur G. Horning; mother of Bob (Margaret) Horning of Otto, Leonard (Betty Jane) Horning of Mansfield, Rick (Melanie) Horning of Cattaraugus, Larry Horning of Great Valley, Nancy (Donald) Lombardi and Wendy (David) Hagerdon, both of Cornersville, Tenn., and the late Arthur Leroy Horning; stepmother of Edwin (Donna) Campbell of Lewisburg, Tenn., Debbie (Allen) Gray of New Mexico, and the late Stephen Campbell; grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister of the late Robert A. Wilbur; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mrs. Camp- bell retired from the Gowanda Psychiatric Center as a therapy aide after more than 10 years employment. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Little Valley Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association or Homecare Hospice. Inez M. Schweickert (nee Underberg), May 22, 2003, of Springville. Wife of the late Charles H. Schweickert; mother of Edith (Kenneth) Kazmark, Mary T. Schweickert and Daniel J. (Juli) Schweickert; also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister of Leona (Laurence) Rucker, Sister St. Edward, Irma (Robert) Nunweiler, Margaret Wagner, Mary (Edwin) Kruse, Joseph (Mabel), Albert (Betty) Underberg, Alberta (Ray) Hanel, Agnes (Charles) Wendling and the late Evelyn Schweickert, Ruth Ott, Angeline Ott and Theresa Wagner. Edgar W. Marsh
Edgar W. Marsh of Ellicottville, age 92, May 22, 2003, at the Pines, Machias. He was born in Honeoye, NY to Wesley and Caroline Amos Marsh on Jan. 18, 1911. He was married to Elva Wiechman, who survives, for 70 years. He owned and operated his own trucking company for log hauling for 30 years. Prior to that he drove for M. Murphy and Son, and until retirement, drove school bus for Ellicottville Central School. He was the father of Walter (Lorraine) Marsh of Franklinville, Betty (Glenn) Timme of Great Valley, Charles (Barbara) Marsh of Sterling, VA, and Thomas Marsh of Killbuck; grandfather of nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother of Edith Hintz of DeBarry, FL and Gertrude Stevenson of Lyndenville, and the late Walter, George, Elmer, Florence and Caroline. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, Inc., 271 East Main Street, Springville. The Rev. William L. Kay officiated. Harold E. Fisher
Harold E. Fisher, age 44, died April 3, 2003 as the result of a motorcycle accident in Nashville, Tenn.
He graduated from Griffith Institute in 1976 and worked for local collision shops before moving to Nashville in 1993.
He was the husband of Carol Fisher; father of Jeremy of Newport News, Va.; son of Fred and Jane Fisher of Morristown, Tenn; brother of Linda (John Graig) Widrig of Orchard Park, Betty (John) Swanson of Morristown, Tenn and Sue (Joe) Wesley of Yorkshire; grandson of the late Emery and Dorothy Fisher of Springville.

(Penny) Bond Jr., John W. (Melissa) Bond and the late Elaine J. Clark; also survived by 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother of Viola (Lawrence) Henry. Mary Nason Swift
Mary Nason Swift of Cuba died Friday, August 8, 2003 at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Springville, attended St. Aloysius School in Springville, and graduated from Griffith Institute High School. She also graduated from the Harper Method Beauty School in Rochester.
Mrs. Swift worked as an operator for New York Telephone co., later Nynex. She also waitressed at Moonwink's restaurant and the Kinney II restaurant, both in Cuba, prior to her retirement in 1991.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Cuba Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2721. She also belonged to the Telephone Pioneers and the Lunch with the Ladies group.
She was married 44 years to the village of Cuba Mayor Roger E. "Rod" Swift; mother of Lori A. of Henderson, NV and Gregory D. of Cuba; sister of Phyllis Nason of Springville, Alice Maddigan of Colden, Normand (Noreen) Nason and Paul (Doris) Nason, both of Springville; also survived by a grandson, Dennis.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday morning at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 50 South St., Cuba. Burial was in Bellville Cemetery, town of New Hudson in Allegany County. Arrangements were made by the McIntosh Funeral Home, 24 Genesee Parkway, Cuba.

Edward F. Petrie Sr., age 89, of Sardinia, August 7, 2003. Husband of the late Georgene Altman Petrie; father of Edward (Mary) Petrie Jr., James (Audrey) Petrie, Paulette (Larry) Green, Larry Petrie and Terry (Janet) Petrie; brother of the late William "Pete" Petrie, Marion McNeil and Grace Andrea; also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Ann (O誰eil) Mayer
Ann (O誰eil) Mayer, 44, of Collins Center, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Buffalo General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of John Mayer and devoted mother to John Jr.
Ann was born on January 19, 1958. She is predeceased by parents, James and Jean (Merrill) O誰eil. Siblings and in-laws include; Kathleen (Bart) Griffo, James (Laura) O誰eil, Daniel O誰eil, Mary (David) Pierce, Kevin (Dale) O誰eil, Elizabeth (Frank) Wabik, Jeanine (Dan) Stefanovic, David O誰eil, Phillip (Ann) O誰eil, Brian (Amy) O誰eil, Terrance (Heather) O誰eil, Charlene Mayer, Jean (Rich) Di Pronio and Paula (Dan) Heddon. Ann is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ann was a certified nursing assistant. Her love of entertaining and creativity made her a favorite babysitter for children of both relatives and friends. She also was an avid bicyclist.
No arrangements for services have been made at this time.
Joyce A. Hutchinson
Joyce A. Hutchinson, age 71, of Potsdam died Friday, August 8, 2003, at home.
She was the wife of Richard A. Hutchinson of Potsdam; mother of Lee (BethAnne) Hutchinson of Scotia; Bonnie Lehmann of Wellington, FL and Debra (James) Baker of Orchard Park.; sister of Duane Seaburg of Oakfield; grandmother of eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Hutchinson lived in Springville for several years while her husband was head of the Social Studies Department at Griffith Institute. While in Springville, she worked as a catalog representative for Montgomery Ward, and participated as a dancer, choreographer and backstage manager in many of her husband's musical productions.
The couple moved to Potsdam in 1974, where she was a teacher's aide at the Campus Learning Center on the SUNY Potsdam campus until her retirement in 1989.
Memorial services will be held Saturday morning, August 23, at 11 o'clock from the First Presbyterian Church in Potsdam. The Rev. Dr. D. Richard Will will officiate.
