Randi Numme Petrovich,passed away December 13, 2010. She was 91. She was born in Norway on October 4, 1919 to the late Ivar Numme and Signora Grenwood. She was raised and educated in Greenwich, CT. She and her late husband Edward, were members of the North Baptist Church in Port Chester, where they taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. Along with her husband, they organized a youth club along with forming a Boys and Girls Club in Stamford and Greenwich. Loving mother of her daughter Sonja and her husband Vinny Macri of Florida, and son Gary of Port Chester. Adored grandmother of Vincent Macri and his wife Edi Mae,and Michael Macri and his wife Nancy Ann, all from Connecticut. Great grandmother of Derek Macri. There will be NO CALLING HOURS. Karen (Roberti) Riverso, 56, of Holmes, NY, passed away Saturday, December 11, at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was born on November 16, 1954 in Yorktown and was the daughter of Louis Roberti and Elizabeth Grossfield. Karen worked at White Plains Hospital until 1985, after which she was a homemaker and loving mother of three until her passing. An avid Yankees and Patriots fan, she loved spending time surrounded by her children and three dogs watching a good ball game. She will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and the light she shone into each life she touched. She is survived by her three children: Cara, John, and Christopher Riverso; her brother and sister-in-law, Lou and Sandy Roberti; her nephew Louis and niece Sierra; her Auntie and cousins. The family will receive friends at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah, NY on Wednesday, December 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. MARY SPAK (nee Chernowsky), of San Diego, CA, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010.Locally, Mary worked for Alexander Smith Carpet Shop, Otis Elevator and then in MD at the Pine Grove Motel & Restaurant. Mary is survived by her sister Lillian Howes, two grandsons, Keith N. Spak and Billy Hearson, two great-grandchildren, Spenser and Ryan, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Spak, her son, Nicholas Michael Spak and siblings, Michael, Peter, Theodore & George Chernowsky and Elizabeth Satariano & Mildred Gates. Theresa Wagner affectionately known by her loved ones as Ga passed away peacefully on Sunday December 12, 2010. She was born in New York City on December 19, 1926 to Ethel and Michael Mincieli. Theresa is predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years Buddy who died in August 2010. She has been a resident of Stony Point for the past 58 years. Theresa worked in the business office of Letchworth Village until her retirement. After her retirement, she was a volunteer for many years in the gift shop at Helen Hayes Hospital and is a member of the Stony Point Senior Citizen club. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws; Theresa and Raymond Pawlicki, Christine and David Zigler, Elaine and Eddie Baughman and Carolyn Ladoue. Her grandchildren Matthew and wife Sarah, Dianna and husband Seth, David and wife Meghan, Jackie and fiancee Paul, Heather and husband Scott, Darell, Allison, Donny and Jesse. Valerie Williams was born July 16, 1958. She died at the age of 52 on December 9, 2010 at Mount Vernon Hospital. She left behind her Mother, Gwendolyn Douglas, age 90; Father Joslyin Douglas (deceased), and four children: Hugh Townsend, 35, Dianne Plummer, 34, Marsha Deer, 32, Treveice Williams, 23; seven grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers. She lived in Mount Vernon all of her life.
BUCCIERO, ANTOINETTE (ANN)
Antoinette (Ann) Bucciero, 83, of Peekskill, NY, died on November 22, 2010. She was born in Maddaloni, Italy, in 1927 to the late Vincent and Orsola Bucciero. In 1937 she emigrated to the U.S. along with her younger brother, Dominic, and settled on Staten Island with the rest of her family, brothers, Michael and Anthony. In the late 1960's Ann moved to Peekskill, and worked for the Bank of New York in Harrison, N.Y. She was a devoted and loving sister to her brothers and sister-in-laws; Anthony (Jane), Dominic (Patricia, deceased) and Michael (deceased) Renee. Cherished Aunt of Colleen, Nancy, Michael, and Andrea of Massachusetts, Anthony Jr., Gary, Jeffery, Mark, Darlene, Susan , Sandra, and Steven. Predeceased are nephew, Michael and niece, Dianna . Angeline Cestone of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away surrounded by her family on November 23, 2010. She was born and lived in Croton her entire life. Together with her loving husband Vince, raised two children Rosemary and Vinnie. Angelina's joy was her family and she was blessed with four grandchildren and three great grandchildren who cherished her and depended on the love she so generously gave. Her superb cooking filled our homes and heart with warmth and love that we shall carry with us through life. Mrs. Cestone is survived by her husband of 61 years; Vincent, children; Rosemary Cestone Mastandrea and Joseph Mastandrea and Vincent Cestone and Jeryl Murphy Cestone, grandchildren; Paul Hoffman, Lauren Cestone, Michele Cestone and Scott Cestone, great grandchildren; Maiya Hoffman, Mayci Hoffman and Madison Melish. CIAVOLELLA, SHARON
Sharon Ciavolella, a West Palm Beach resident, passed away on November 22, 2010 with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was strong willed and showed tremendous amounts of faith to the very end. She was 53. Born in White Plains, NY on June 4, 1957, Sharon was always full of energy. She worked as a hostess at Harvest on the Hudson in Hastings, NY for many years. She loved to get dressed up, dance, and socialize. Sharon also had a love for Angels which was evident in her extensive collection. In 1981 Sharon was married to her loving husband, John, with whom she shared a truly special relationship. Her two daughters, Tara and Erica, were born in 1983 and 1986. They have remained by her side through it all and brought her great joy through the years. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Frances Scrofani, as well as her sisters, Linda Vaccaro and Valerie Orsini. She is survived by her beloved husband, John; daughters, Tara and Erica; and sister, Diane Bischel. Services will be held at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, from 2-4 and 7-9. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, November 27, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home and then immediately following onto Ferncliff Cemetery.
