She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Provenza; grandchildren, Fabian (Krista Konieczny) Provenza, Sabrina Provenza; sisters, Mary Ribbler, Frances Noto; nieces & nephews, Sam (Barbara) Ribbler, Eileen Ribbler, Donna (Jim) Leonardo; several nieces, nephews & many friends.

History: Jennie retired from B. Foreman Co. but worked a variety of jobs always keeping herself busy. She was a member of the Holy Family Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. She liked to crochet and sew. She also liked to work outside and loved her independence. She was always around her family and would do anything for them. She loved to cater to her family and was known to spoil her granddogs. She loved carnations and going to church. She was very energetic and could be stubborn, prefering to lift things and do things rather than let someone help. She was a very caring and yet spunky person. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was genuinely concerned about others. She was very generous and was very loved by her family and friends.

Dorothy (Derleth) Geyssens
March 21, 1920 - December 31, 2006
Pre-deceased by: Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband and friend of 62 years Albert J. “Al” Geyssens.
Survived by: She is survived by her son Randy (Amy) Geyssens; granddaughters Zoe Geyssens & Chelsea Geyssens; nephew Richard (Kay) Kurz & family; several kissing cousins.

History: Dorothy had many friendships throughout her life. She especially enjoyed being a loving mother and supportive and caring grandmother. Dorothy always treated her daughter-in-law Amy like a daughter. Family was the most important thing in Dorothy`s life. She enjoyed all family get togethers especially Christmas & 4th of July. Dorothy was out spoken & hard working. She enjoyed traveling, Domino`s, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, nature and bird watching.
Accomplishments: Dorothy was co-founder with her husband Al of Geyssens Nursery. Dorothy was innovative and she was defenitely a driving force in the success of the nursery. She was one of the first "working moms" in the landscaping & nursery fields. Dorothy was always very active in the community. She volunteered at Holy Name of Jesus Church, clothing drives to help the poor, and Martha`s Ministry.

History: John loved cooking and he was even more passionate about eating. He was a supportive and loving father & grandfather. He shared his love of the outdoors with his children. He introduced to them camping, fishing, hunting, and he was a scout leader for over 22 years. John loved hunting and fishing so much that he taught Hunter Safety Classes for many years. John could best be described as out going, jovial, easy going and he always had a sense of humor. He enjoyed games of chance. John was bilingual, he spoke fluent Italian as well as English. He also supported his children & grandchildrens efforts in scholl and on the sporting fields.
Accomplishments: John worked as a plumber for the City of Rochester.

History: Sylvia was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. She always looked forward to spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bocce, soap opera`s, All my Children, shopping and collecting porcelain dolls. She could best be described as happy, kind, loving & giving. She would always say "what are you gonna do" & "We`ll see."

Frank F. Provenzano

Survived by: Frank is survived by his children, Mary Kay (William) Philp & Vincent (Paula) Provenzano; grandchildren, Andrea (Andy) Marron, Melissa Provenzano, Nicole Provenzano; great-grandaughter Sophia Rose Marron; sisters and brother, Mary Pignato, Rose Pozzanghera, Josephine Hurysz, Jennie Rossi, Laura Provenzano & Dominic Provenzano; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

History: Frank Provenzano was born March 12, 1917 in Lucasboro, Pennsylvania. Frank was one of ten siblings. He was raised in Lucasboro, Pennsylvania and his family later moved to Rochester, NY. Frank attended Washington High. After Frank graduated high school, he was employed by E.C. Brown, manufacturing flamethrowers for the war effort. Kodak then employed Frank, where he worked in a darkroom slitting and perforating professional movie film on all three shifts. Frank retired from Kodak in 1976. Frank met Sophia in 1941 and they were married in 1952. They had a wonderful marriage and had two children, Mary Kay and Vincent. Frank and Sophia lived on Barcrest Drive in Greece, New York. Frank enjoyed his dog, Cleo. Frank also enjoyed smoking his pipe. Frank and his family attended Mother of Sorrows Parish. Frank spent his spare time working in his yard growing roses, which he won many awards for. Frank always made time to go fishing and spent weekends at his cottage in Sodus Bay. After Mary Kay and Vincent were grown, Frank and Sophia traveled to Toronto and Pennsylvania. Frank and Sophia enjoyed reading books together and spending time in their back porch. Sophia became ill with cancer in 1969. Sophia had years of remission, until 1985 when the cancer returned. Frank took care of her for the last six months of her life, until she died on June 23rd of 1986. Frank mourned Sophia`s death and visited her gravesite daily. Frank spent time reading and fishing. Frank enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family members. He was known for his knowledge of history and geography. Frank was nicknamed the "professor" and "shorebird." He made his way around the shores of Lake Ontario checking on the water levels, fisherman and weather. Frank looked forward to dinner dates with his family. Frank enjoyed his dog Hilda. Frank began developing medical problems in 2000. He had lung cancer and congestive heart failure. Frank quit smoking the day he found out he had lung cancer. Frank then developed two staff infections after a five-way bypass surgery. Frank moved in with his son, Vincent, in 2001. Frank lived with Vincent`s family for three years. He then went to Shore Winds Nursing Home, where he resided for two and a half years. In September of 2006, Frank became a great grandfather. Sophia Rose was the sparkle of Frank`s eye. Frank became ill with pneumonia in December of 2006. Frank never rebounded and was placed on hospice January 10, 2007. Frank was transferred to St.Mary`s hospice unit on January 13, 2007 and passed away on Monday, January 15th at 4:33p.m. Frank was surrounded by his family as he took his last breaths. Frank was a man of honor and will be greatly missed by all

History: Ray spent the majority of his life working in construction. He enjoyed spending his free time in the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and riding motorcylces. Ray was most passionate about his love for his family.

History: Harry was a man of simple taste and desires. He was most passionate about motorcycles. He especially loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Harry always looked forward to spending quality time with family. Harry enjoyed spending time in Vegas and playing the many games of chance there. When Harry was younger he enjoyed roller skating and cockatoo`s. Harry was very handy, he could fix most anything. Harry was a Dallas Cowboys fan and he loved his Dalmation Dallas. Harry will be missed by all who knew and loved him, his fight to stay alive was an inspiration to us all.
Accomplishments: Harry was the owner of J&L Inc.
