Jose Torres

History: Jose was a former employee of Rochester General Hospital, where he served the hospital as a chemical engineer.
Services: Services were held privately, at the convenience of the family

Vincent Ortolani
July 19, 1941 - April 13, 2007
Pre-deceased by: Vincent is predeceased by his parents; brothers Samuel & George Ortolani.
Survived by: He is survived by his wife Mary M. Ortolani; children Elizabeth (Timothy) Ortolani-Walls & Philip Ortolani; sister Mary Grace DeMarco; several beloved nieces & nephews; the Appel family.
Born at: Rochester, NY
History: Vincent was a graduate of Aquinas Institute, Niagara University & Catholic University. He was a Christian Brother for eight years. He taught adults at the Sawyer School for 10 years and spent the last 25 years teaching at R.I.T.’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Vincent was a member of the Dreikurs Family Association.

Ada J. (Cocuzzi) Romeo
August 16, 1918 - April 16, 2007
Pre-deceased by: Her husband, Alexander Romeo; parents, Gaetano & Givonia Cocuzzi; several brothers & sisters.
Survived by: GATES: April 16, 2007 at age 88. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Andrew) Padulo; grandchildren, Deborah Padulo, Michael (Jennifer) Padulo; great granddaughters, Emily & Erica; several nieces & nephews.
Born at: Rochester, NY
History: Ada was a volunteer at Park Ridge Hospital for over 20 years and also volunteered at the Greece Police Department. She worked at Edwards studio as a portrait painter. She enjoyed her bridge club, dancing and gardening. She was a member of the Rose Society. She enjoyed visits from her family and she loved to spend time watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. They loved her very much and she will be missed.
Accomplishments: The family would like to thank the extraordinary team of caregivers on 5 South at St. John’s Home with such patience, compassion, skill and gentleness whom cared for Ada.
Donations: In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ada’s Memory to St. John’s Home, 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
Services: BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.) where Ada’s visitation will be on Thursday April 19, 2007 from 5-8 PM. Dora P. (D`Amico) (Perrotta) Rodrigues

Survived by: Dora is survived by her husband Anthony Rodrigues; daughter Gail (Alan) Klee; step-children, Jerry (Mary) Rodrigues, Paul (Leisa) Rodrigues of SanDiego, CA, Carol (Bob) Otto; grandchildren, Brian (Jessica) Kennedy of Hilliard, OH & Kristen Kennedy; great-grandchildren Carissa & Tyler Kennedy of Hilliard, OH; step-grandchildren, Karyn (Thayer) Thompson of NYC, Andrew Rodrigues of SanDiego, CA, Mychele Guyer of Norfolk, VA, John Guyer of Dallas, TX; sister Mary Altavela; brother John D’Amico; sister-in-law Lenora Hoyt of Livonia, NY; brother-in-law Steve Chodak; several nieces and nephews.

History: Dora`s life was centered around creating a loving home for her family. She was the youngest of four children and adored her husband, children and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very proudly married to Tony for 29 years, Sunday, April 22nd 2007 would have marked her 30th anniversary. Her baking was legendary. Her specialties included: pizelles, biscotti`s and candy. Dora sewed most of her own clothing. Even though she was frugal on herself she was very generous to the ones she loved. She always had a sense of humor, never complained and was very smart. Dora enjoyed crossword & sudoku puzzles. She also enjoyed playing cards and looked forward to travelling. During her travels she and Tony purchased an RV and shared many of the wonderful times she spent touring the country and visiting with her family.
Donations: In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to American Lung Association, 300 Winners Circle, Suite 300, Albany, NY 12205 in Dee’s memory.
Services: BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. Honoring Dora’s wishes there will be no prior calling. Dora’s Family and Friends are welcome to attend her Funeral Mass Friday, April 20th, 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Survived by: March 24, 2007 at age 82. She is survived by her extended family, Joseph Jr. & Donna Ackerman, Matthew & Katie Ackerman; cousins, Doreen Meintel, Marjorie Collins, Marilyn (Gerry) Irwin, John Meintel; dear friends, Winifred “Winnie” & Robert Keating. Many dear friends & neighbors. We will miss you Jeanette and we will keep you in our hearts forever.

History: Jeanette was a proud retiree of Eastman Kodak. She had a great childhood and was very proud & loving of her family. She liked spending time with her friend Winnie. She enjoyed a good cheeseburger and watching gameshows and old westerns. She was an accomplished bowler and she liked to go to OTB and play the lottery. She was an animal lover especially towards dogs. Jeanette never complained and she had a great sense of humor. She was a straight forward, reliable person. She was a home body and was very giving. She was a good listener and a great lady who will be missed by everyone who had the priviledge to know her.
