She is survived by her children, Michael (Christine) Hayes, James Jr. (Cynthia) Hayes, Elizabeth (Steven) Hayes-Goodwin and Barbara (Glen) Tesch; mother, Felicia Bundoc; grandchildren, Rachael, Michael Jr. (Jamie), Ricia, April, Thomas, Timothy, Chastity (Jason) Keuer, Steven (Lisa) Goodwin, David, Matthew, Donald and Elias; great-grandchildren, Devin, Ethan, Jaden, Sarah, Lauren, DJ, Juliana and Cameron; nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated January 3 at St. Pius Tenth Church, Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
*** Laglia, Vito P., M.D., April 26, 1922-December 30, 2010. Predeceased by daughters, Regina and Georgette. Survived by loving wife of 64 1/2 years, Catherine; devoted family: Dr. Anthony (Kathleen) Laglia of Piedmont, California, Robert of Birmingham, Alabama, Catherine (Larry) Mitchell of Churchville, Renee (Timothy) Bell of Churchville; grandchildren, Tony and Michael Laglia of San Francisco; Regina and V. Joseph Laglia of Birmingham, Alabama; Georgette’s children, Matan of Richmond, Virginia, Ronen (Hollie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Adi Arad of Brooklyn, New York, Jeffrey (Lisa) Mitchell and Brian Mitchell, Abigail, Alex, Daniel and Mary Bell; great-grands, Brittany Mitchell, Tyler and Austin Mitchell, Isabella and Gavin Arad; and many cousins. Dr. Laglia was a Family Practitioner in North Chili area for 38 years and on the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital and Unity Health System for 62 years, Past President of Monroe County Medical Society and Medical Director at St. Mary’s Hospital.
According to his wishes, his remains have been donated to the U of R Anatomical Gift Program. Private Service will be held at a later date. *** Smith, Chauncey G., December 27, 2010, age 83 in Edgewater, Florida, formerly of Hamlin. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Reta (Scopes) Smith; daughters, Adair Korn and Gail (Mike) Nowak; grandchildren, Shea and April Korn, and Heather Conley; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Curtis-Korn and Sophia Conley; brothers, Frank (Sharon) and Bob (Sandy); sister, Doris; sister-in-law, Geri Kulzer. He was a longtime employee of Duffy Mott Co., Hamlin and retired from Curtis-Burns, Leicester, NY. He raised, trained and showed horses being past president of NY Palomino Horse Exhibitors Association.
A Memorial Service was held January 8 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. *** Smith, Ann (Kurycki), January 4, 2011, age 96. Predeceased by her husband, Richard, 1977. Survived by her children, Sandra Farrell, Craig (Charlotte) Smith, Penny (Gordon) Gerow; her grandchildren, Peggy (Jerard) Scacchetti, James Farrell, Patti (Tim) Oberer, Mike (Sheilagh) Farrell, Marc Smith, Theresa (Brent) Chambry, Tammy Tisa, Philip (Diane) Gerow; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister Valentine (Joe) Palis; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a longtime member of St. Leo Rosary Society.
Her Funeral Mass was said January 8 at St. Leo Church, Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Heritage Christian Homes in her memory.

*** Charles, Louis A. “Chappy,” January 2, 2011 at age 81. Will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; daughters, LuAnn (Dan) Brightly, Wendy Davis, Francine (Jack) Spronz; “son,” Gary (Linda) Davis; grandchildren, Joshua (Julie) Davis, Benjamin and Andrea Brightly, Marisa and Nicholas Spronz; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandy (Joe) Sacco and Liston Robertson; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Donny Emanuele. Chappy was a Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion Post #529, a Kodak retiree after 33 years and a member of St. Mary’s Church.
His Funeral Mass was said January 7 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Wedgewood Nursing Home, 5 Church Street, Spencerport 14559 in his memory.
*** Griggs, Karen L., died January 6, 2011, at age 62. She was a sales clerk for Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., Brockport for over 25 years and a resident of Clarendon for 40 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, David; her beloved children Christopher (Joanna) Griggs of Hilton and Angela (George) Gitsis of Spencerport; adored grandchildren Brenna, Regan and Mari Griggs and Sotirious “Sam” Gitsis; a dear brother David (Janet) Bissell of Caneadea, New York; several nieces and nephews and a wealth of truly wonderful friends.

*** Olson, Eric O. “Panther,” on January 2, 2011. Born January 11, 1952, in Rochester, the son of Duane and Elaine Olson who survive. Also survived by children Heather Carroll, Casey Lucas and Justin Olson; five grandchildren; siblings, Christ “Ole” Olson, Sharon Olson and Laurie Eckenroth; nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. He will be missed by his longtime companion, Ann Kenning, and her son, Jeb; special granddaughter, Summer.
