Miss Mary R. Merkel, a Bennett Road resident of Bloomfield, died on Friday, March 5, 1999.
Miss Merkel earned her bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering for the Rochester Institute of Technology and retired from the Singer Corporation in Rochester.
She served as an East Bloomfield Town Justice for 15 years.
Surviving her are five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Edwin A. (Marcea) Merkel, Jr. of Stuart, Florida, Victor E. (Ann) Merkel of Mendon, John J. Merkel and Nelson A. Merkel, both of Rochester, and David A. (Joan) Merkel of Bloomfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria (John) Bennett of Groton, Connecticut and Marjorie (Edward) Carrier of Hudson, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
There were no prior calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 1999 at St. Bridget's/St. Joseph's Church in East Bloomfield.

ROGER M. HERMAN
Roger M. Herman, of Canandaigua, passed away on Friday, February 12, 1999. Mr. Herman was the son of the late Rev. Frederick W. and Fannie (Barnard) Herman. A graduate of the University of Rochester, Mr. Herman ran the K. H. Bait Co. in Naples, where he invented "Egg Sacks" bait.
Mr. Herman also worked as an inspector at Crossman Arms in West Bloomfield.
He is survived by his wife, June Goff Herman; two daughters, Ann (Jacques) Lambert and Sally Herman; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., in Honeoye Falls, on Sunday and Monday, February 21 and 22. Funeral Services were held there on February 22 at 1 p.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush. Friends wishing to may express their sympathy to the Canandaigua Ambulance Fund in Mr. Herman's memory.
CHERYL J. MINARIK
Cheryl J. Minarik, 40, of Livonia, formerly of Avon, died Thursday, February 18, 1999 at her home.
She was born on August 6, 1958 in Rochester, New York, to Leo J. and Dorothy (Kramer) Torregiano. Mrs. Minarik was a graduate of Avon Central School and worked at Delco Products in Rochester, from 1984 to 1994.
Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Leo J. Torregiano Sr., in 1995.
She is survived by her husband, Mayo Minarik; children, Jeremy, Donald and Laura Peet, and Jacob, Alexandria, Courtney and Joshua Minarik; her mother, Dorothy (Joe) Augello of Florida; her sister, Lynn Law (Andy Acker) of Florida; three brothers, Victor (Nicoletta ) Torregiano of Warsaw, Leo (Geri) Torregiano Jr. of Geneseo and John Torregiano of LeRoy; mother- and father-in-law, Loretta and Melvin Minarik of Rochester; two brothers-in-law, Philip (Kathy) Minarik and Joseph (Rayle) Minarik; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; very special friends, Ed and Molly Peet and Joseph and Mary Pilato; and many friends.
Friends called Saturday and Sunday, February 20 and 21, at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. in Avon. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, February 22, at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.

Catherine "Marie" Thomas, of Rush, died suddenly on Saturday, February 20, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Larry Thomas; cousins, Jackie Ernst, Jill Kraft and Betty Hobin; brother-in-law Ray (Pauline) Thomas; sister-in-law Molly (Donald) Meyer; two nephews, Mark and Keith Meyer; and niece, Missy Clark.
Friends called on Monday, February 22, at the Henry D. Halloran and Son Funeral Home, Inc. in West Henrietta, where her Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, February 22. Interment Maplewood Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Maria K. Kraus, of Honeoye Falls, formerly of Rochester, died on Tuesday, February 9, 1999. She was predeceased by husband, Alfons Kraus. She is survived by son, Richard T. Kraus, M.D.; grandchildren, Richard, Michael, Katherine, John (Ronda), Elizabeth, and Paul (Gwen); great-grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Kristine, Jonathan, Frank, Riley, Evin and Anna; nieces and nephews, all of Germany.
Friends called at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. in Honeoye Falls, on Friday, February 12. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Paul of the Cross Church in Honeoye Falls. Paula M. Fischetti, of Honeoye Falls, formerly of Long Island, died on Saturday, February 13, 1999. She was predeceased by husband, Stephen, and son, Vincent. She is survived by sons, Stephen V. and James Fischetti; sister, Rosey (Joseph) Balinedo; brothers, John and Theodore (Shirley) Horyczun; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

Charles Jay Domville, 30, of Bloomfield, died suddenly on Sunday, February 14, 1999, in Inlet, NY. He is survived by wife, Kelly McCann Domville; sons, Charles John III and Cody Edward Domville; father, Charles J. Domville (Kay Baier) of West Bloomfield; mother, Linda Cameron; brother, Craig (Shelly) Domville of Bloomfield; sister, Charlene (Mike) Rider of Honeoye; maternal grandparents, Jim and Rena Bortle of Bloomfield; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Mr. Domville was a partner in the Barnes Express LTD.
