Margaret C. Martin, formerly of Honeoye Falls, 88, died on Sunday, July 22, 2001 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, unexpectedly. She had been living at Morgan Estates in Geneseo.
Margaret was a retired librarian from the Wellsville High School in Wellsville, NY, retiring after several years of teaching.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Edwards of lima; two grandsons, Gerald (Peggy) Borhuis, of Honeoye Falls, and James (Lisa) Borkhuis, of Hillsborough, NC; one great-grandson, Jeffrey Borkhuis, of Hillsborough; three sisters, Elizabeth Avallone, of Lowville, NY, Florence Unger, of Scottsville, NY, and Mary Helen (Arthur) Machell, of Webster, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
There were no prior calling hours. Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were handled through the Chamberlain Funeral Home, Inc. in Dansville.
JOSEPH (DOC) COSTANZA
Joseph Costanza, 88, of Rush, and Avon, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Rose DeFranco Costanza; four sons, Anthony J. of Rochester, Jerome J. of Florida, Francis J. (Bonnie) of Livonia, and Ronald J. of Honeoye; four grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Luke and Joseph; one brother, Steve (Mary) Costanza of Rochester; three sisters, Margaret DiPrima and Jennifer Maenza both of Rochester and Mamie (Jim) Brunicindi of New Mexico; and nieces and nephews.
CHARLES H. JOHNSON
Charles H. Johnson, 70, of 7472 Common Road, Angelica, died on Sunday, July 22, 2001 at Bath V.A. Hospital following a long illness. Born in Canandaigua, NY, on May 17, 1931, Mr. Johnson was the son of Charles and Virginia (Heath) Johnson. Charles was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Special Services Unit during the Korean Conflict.
ROSE MARIE HARLOFF
Rose Marie Harloff, a retired office manager of the Pease Company of Rochester, and former employee of the Rittenhouse Company of Honeoye Falls, died August 11, 2001 in the Life Care Center of Citrus County, in Lecanto, FL. She was 93.
A resident of Honeoye Falls, for 30 years, Mrs. Harloff was a member of Honeoye Falls Presbyterian Church, a member of the drill team in the Daughters of the Nile, and past matron of Union Star Loge #328 of the Eastern Star. She moved to Dunnellon, FL. in 1971 where she was a member of Dunnellon Presbyterian Church and the local chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Harloff was preceded in death by husbands Edward G. Potvin and Howard Harloff, stepson Robert H. Harloff and life-long friend, Dorothea Cassagne. Survivors include Nancy Moses of Caledonia; Renee Lord of Dunnellon, Fl.; James Harloff of Punta Gorda, FL.; Marion Plain of Honeoye Falls; Betty Heinrich of Rochester; Carol Van Slyke of Ontario; William Harloff of Mount Vernon, IN; daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2001. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Honeoye Falls Cemetery.
GOLDIE M. KREIGER
Goldie M. Kreiger, of Honeoye Falls, died on Sunday, August 12, 2001. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Lyle Guild and Lyle Krieger; and a son, Gerald Guild. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (William) Lynch; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Guild; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Joan (Bud) Wigent; brother, Harley (Shirley) Poore; and nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls. Eastern Star Services were conducted on Wednesday, August 15, at 8 p.m. by Lima Chapter #384. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Honeoye Falls Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Volunteer Ambulance Fund or the Ontario/Yates County Hospice in memory of Mrs. Kreiger.
MARION F. LALLY
Marion F. Lally, of Scottsville, died Wednesday, August 8, 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Gary) McGill; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held at the J.H. Cameron Funeral Home, Scottsville, on Thursday, August 9. Funeral services were held there on Friday, August 10.

Alice M. Whalen, 84, of Avon, died Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at the Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo.
HERMAN L. "RED" LILLEY
Herman L. "Red" Lilley, of Honeoye Falls, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2001. He is predeceased by his wife, Lois. He is survived by two daughters, Roberta Walker and Linda (Nick) Moretti; three grandchildren, Jon (Stephanie), Anna (Eric) and Carrie; two great grandchildren, AJ and Olivia; two sisters-in-law, Erma Ruby and Millicent Ruby; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls, where a Masonic service was held by the Union Star Lodge F&AM #320. Funeral Services were also held at the funeral home. Internment was at the Honeoye Falls Cemetery.
