Rena R. Fiske of Honeoye Falls died on Saturday, January 6, 2001. She was 99.
Mrs. Fiske was born on January 10, 1901, in Addison, New York. On April 10, 1920, she was married to Raymond E. Fiske, who died on October 8, 1977.
Mrs. Fiske was an 80-year resident of Honeoye Falls, having moved to the village at the age of 13 to attend school. She remained in Honeoye Falls until the fall of 1994 when she entered the Avon Nursing Home.
She was employed at several local and Rochester banks until her retirement on January 1, 1964. Mrs. Fiske maintained an active interest in news, politics and the gyrations of the stock market.
Mrs. Fiske is survived by three nephews, Clair (Millicent) Snyder, Walter (Sandy) Rusby, and Kenneth (Tineke) Mann; and one niece, Mary (Richard) MacFarlane.
Friends called on Wednesday, January 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls, where a service followed at 4:15 p.m. The Rev. Richard Harrington officiated. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.
RICHARD A. ELLSWORTH
Richard A. Ellsworth, of Honeoye Falls, formerly of Henrietta, died on Sunday, January 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Steven, Robert, Nancy, David, Susan and James; stepchildren, Edward, Cynthia, and Sally; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Carol Modern. His violin/viola talents with Fiddlers of the Genesee and the Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus brought joy to many.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at the Rush United Methodist Church. Friend wishing may express their sympathy to the Hochstein Music School or the Promiseland of Rush United Methodist Church in memory of Mr. Ellsworth.
JOHN E. MACK
John E. Mack, of Rush, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 13, 2001. He is the beloved husband of wife, Gail Mack; loving father of Kevin (Cindy) Mack, Sherry (Dick) Clark, Peggy Mack; five grandchildren, Emily and Jessica Clark, and KC, David and Garrett Mack; sister, Jean Babey; sister-in-law, Edith Mack; father-in-law, Bill Lautner; nieces and nephews; aunts and cousins; and faithful friend Reggie. He is predeceased by his brother, Bud Mack.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at the Rush Methodist Church. Friends may express their sympathy to the Rush Fire Department of the Rush Methodist Church in memory of Mr. Mack.
THEODORE J. ZORNOW
Theodore J. Zornow of Pittsford died on Thursday, January 18, 2001. He is predeceased by his wife, Margaret Hutchinson Zornow. He is survived by his children, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Thomas of Caledonia, Mrs. Charles (Carol) Corby of Pittsford, Mrs. Roger (Elizabeth) Powers of Pittsford, Mrs. William (Frances) Smith of Caledonia, and Theodore H. (Marcia) Zornow of Lima; 17 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Isabel Crane; also, life-long and loyal friends Norman and Eloise Hicks; and long-time friend and caregiver Angela Fernandez.
Friends called on Sunday, January 21 at Zornow-Hedges Funeral Home on Lincoln Avenue in Pittsford. A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 23 at St. Louis Church in Pittsford. Interment at Pittsford Cemetery.

KENNETH L. EVANS
Kenneth L. Evans, 92, of Honeoye Falls, died on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. He is survived by his sons, Gerald Evans and Marshall (Cheryl) Evans; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law, Dorothy Fox Evans. He is predeceased by his wife, Mabel Hart Evans and his son, Robert Evans.
There were no prior calling hours. Services will be held at a time to be announced in the spring. Contributions in Mr. Evans’ memory may be made to the Ionia Volunteer Fire Department or to the Honeoye Falls Ambulance Corps.
EDWIN J. BLODGETT
Mr. Edwin J. Blodgett of Lima passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 28, 2001. He was surrounded by his family.
Mr. Blodgett is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Meisenzahl Blodgett; daughters, Carolyn (Ron) Gruschow and Catherine (John) Gaffney; sons, Edwin O. (Cathy) Blodgett, Robert (Brenda) Blodgett and William (Jeanne) Blodgett; grandchildren, Eddie, Alicia, Codie, Ericka, Crystal, Dylan, Robert and Mary Rose; and his brother, Ronald Blodgett.
No visitations were held. Family and friends were invited to attend Edwin’s Funeral Mass at St. Paul of the Cross Church on Wednesday, January 31.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 Livingston County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14510-1691 or to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 60 Bay Street, Staten Island, NY 10301. The family was assisted by the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls.
JOSEPH C. NAGY
Joseph C. Nagy died on Thursday, February 1, 2001 in Florida. He is survived by his sons, Brian (Karen) Nagy of Rush, Jeffrey Nagy of Bloomfield and Steven Nagy of California; three grandsons, Jason, Christopher and Joshua; a brother, John Nagy, of California; sisters, Mary Nagy of Rush, Pearl Nagy of Avon, June Johnson of Florida, Kathy Haynes of Honeoye Falls, Helen Nicodemus of Greece, Margaret Johnson of Indiana, Alice Schelemanow of Bergen, Emma Cornelius of North Carolina, and Esther Weidemeyer of Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Nagy was a veteran of WW II.
Friends called at the Henry D. Halloran Funeral Home in West Henrietta on Monday, February 5. A service was held there on Tuesday, February 6, followed by interment at Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush.
