Mr. Jack H. Perrigo, of Honeoye Falls, died suddenly on Friday, July 28, 2000.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sally Ann (George) Emens and Jane (Floyd) Chatterton; four grandchildren, Matthew and Margaret Emens and Jack and Julie Chatterton; an aunt, Olive Roda; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wives, Dorothy Clark Perrigo and Elizabeth King Perrigo.
A Graveside Service will be held at the family’s convenience. Interment at Pittsford Cemetery.
Friends wishing may contribute to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Perrigo. Arrangements made through the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. in Honeoye Falls.
JOSEPH SHERO, JR.
Mr. Joseph Shero Jr., of Wheatland, died on Friday, July 28, 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Margaret; two sons, Joseph (Marie) Shero III, of Geneseo, and Edward Shero, of Wheatland; brothers Fred (Irene) Shero, Richard (Nancy) Shero; brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph (Dorothy), Louis, Sam (Nancy), Henry (Ann) Ranallette, Liz (Ken) Fermolye, Rose Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shero was a WWII veteran, and a recent recipient of the NYS Conspicuous Service Cross.
Friends called at the JH Cameron Funeral Home in Scottsville on Sunday, and Monday, July 30 and 31. A Rite of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Scottsville, on Tuesday, August 1, 2000.

LEONA L. O’BRIEN
Mrs. Leona L. O’Brien, of Lima, died on Sunday, July 30, 2000. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, in 1994. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick William and Mary Sue O’Brien of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two grandchildren, Tricia O’Brien, of Fairfax, Virginia, and Edward "Ted" O’Brien, of Zanesfield, Ohio; special nieces and nephews; and good friends Dottie and Ed Woodman of Lima.
Friends called at the O’Connell-Drowne Funeral Home in Lima, where a Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 2, 2000. Interment at St. Rose Cemetery in Lima.

JAMES R. MORAN
Mr. James R. Moran, of Webster Springs, West Virginia, died at his home after a sudden illness on Sunday, July 23, 2000. He was 74.
Mr. Moran was born on August 26, 1925 in Mendon, to the late Willet and Elsie Albert Moran. He was a veteran of WWII, and was a well-known local artist.
He worked for Taylor Instrumental, Case Hoyt and L.M. Perry and Company as a graphic artist. Up until his death, he was self-employed at commercial and fine art.
He was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Moran.
Mr. Moran is survived by his wife, Shirley Reed Moran; sons Daniel James Moran of Webster Springs and Michael Reed Moran of Union; daughter-in-law, Rachael Raabe Moran of Union; brother Willet Moran of Idaho; sister, Alberta Palmer of Lima, NY; grandchildren, Jacob, Reed and Caroline, all of Union; and niece, Sharlene (Gordon) Ackley of Lima.
Visitation was held Wednesday, July 26, 2000 and funeral services were held on Thursday, July 27, in St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Webster Springs, with the Rev. Xavier Cooney officiating. Interment at the Fairview Cemetery in Webster Springs.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Webster County Historical Museum.
Mr. Moran was known in Webster Springs for his many volunteer efforts. He was instrumental in the development and ongoing efforts with the Webster County Historical Society. He was active in many organizations including the Garden Club, Main Street, and the Woodchopping Festival Committee. He volunteered many hours of work doing art for many groups.
DONNA I. STEVENS
Mrs. Donna I. Stevens, 56, of Avon, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 25, 2000 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty June "B.J." (Sawyer) Scott on July 17, 2000 and her step-father, Joseph L. Scott, in 1991.
Donna was born in Buffalo, NY, and was employed as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Engineering at the University of Rochester, for the last 17 years.
Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband, William E. Stevens; her children, Kimberly Hinchey of Rush, William (Kathleen) Stevens of Byron, and Robin (Charles) Smith of Avon; four grandchildren, Eric Stevens, Christopher Smith, Colleen Stevens and Abigail Smith; step-brothers, Joseph (Diane) Scott of Blasdell and Thomas (Linda) Scott of Buffalo; step-sister, Felicia (Jack) Murphy of Dennis, MA; aunts, Florence Evans of CA, and Bess (Claude) Burghen of NJ; uncles, Glenn Sawyer of Idaho, Gerald Sawyer and Clyde (Bernice) Sawyer, both of CA; and many cousins.
Family and friends called on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. in Avon, where her funeral service was held on Friday, July 28. The Rev. Michael Maloney officiated. Burial was on Saturday at Stannards Cemetery, Stannards, NY, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Taylor officiating.

MILDRED S. YEARS
Mildred S. Years, of Victor, and Inlet, died on Sunday, December 3, 2000. A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Years was 89 at the time of her death.
She is survived by her son, David, of Inlet; daughters, Marjorie (Arthur) Williams of Farmington, Sharlene (Wilson) Davidson of Avon, Noreta (Albert) Bailey of Farmington, and Loleta (Mikel) Wait of Victor; brother, Leo (Martha) Peglow of Eagle Bay, NY; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; special niece Lucille Phippen; and other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Years was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mendon.
Friends attended Mrs. Years’s Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 5 at the Harloff-Cotton Funeral Home in Victor. Interment at Boughton Hill Cemetery.

ELIZABETH G. ROYSTON
Mrs. Elizabeth Royston of Honeoye Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died on Saturday, December 2, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Walter Royston; a daughter, Karen (Donald) Schlenker; two sons, William (Susan) Royston and Douglas (Dorothy) Royston; four grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Schlenker, Katherine Schlenker, Donna (Michael) Metruck and Robert Royston; and two great grandchildren, Adam and Rachael Metruck.
Mrs. Royston was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Garoga Chapter #425, and a charter member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were handled through the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls.
