Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Joyce Knutowicz of Spencerport; his grandchildren Michael (Rhonda) Knutowicz, Susan Knutowicz, Sean Connelly, Todd Knutowicz and Wendi (Michael) Tripi; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Schlageter, Grace Helene (Drachler), On January 25, 2004 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and a grandson. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Andrew Bruce Schlageter of Brockport; daughters and their hus-bands, Ann and James Dahlheim of Laurel, Maryland, Kit Schlageter and Frederick Porter II of Brockport, Elizabeth and Scott Banner of Brockport; grandchildren, Andrew, Jesse and Kate Porter, James and Samuel Dahlheim, and William Banner; a sister, Ann English; and brother, William Drachler; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of The School of Music at Ithaca College. Throughout her career, she taught music at Goshen, Utica, Mt. Morris, Geneseo State College and Kendall. She was senior choir director at St. Luke's Church in Brockport and organized junior choirs at St. Michael's Church in Geneseo and St. Luke's. Grace was a founding member of the Brockport Symphony, playing first violin for twenty-seven years. Grace shared her gift of music with hundreds of children in public school as a teacher and accompanist, church choir, and her private music studio. She was devoted to her students.
