She was a fourth grade teacher at Albion Middle School for 17 years before retiring. She was active in 4-H for 15 years, serving as a leader; a lifetime member of the Eastern Star; a member of the Brockport United Methodist Church and the Retired Teacher's Association. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold; son, David (Sheila) Chugg of Caledonia; daughter, Linda (John) Tabbitas of Brockport; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Sheila Kenney, predeceased her.
Funeral Services were held March 29 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. Memorials can be made to a charity of one's choice.
Sommerfeldt, Frederick "Fred" H., Age 73 died March 30, 2003 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Survived by wife of over 50 years, Charlotte; sons, Roger Sommerfeldt of Barre, Marty (Kathleen) Sommerfeldt of Kent, Darryl (Donna) Sommerfeldt of Clarendon; daughters, Marcia Makriginnis of Patras, Greece, Cindy (John) Waldron of Clarendon, Vicki (Craig) Sauls of Kendall, Roxanne (Tom) Gould; 19 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Taif of Brockport. A brother, Norman Sommerfeldt, and a sister, Ruth Blosenhauer, predeceased him.
Funeral Services were held April 3 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, North Byron Cemetery in later spring. Memorials can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital, ICU Department.
Hoyt, Robert W., April 1, 2003, age 70. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn Hoyt; children, Bill (Laurie) Hoyt, Jim Hoyt, Patty (John) Peckham, Christine (Roger) Miller; brothers, Bruce (Niva) Hoyt, Ken (Tam) Hoyt; sister, Joy (Warren) Cleveland; nine grandchild-ren; two great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Bob was a Veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of the Purple Heart, Army of Occupation Medal and numerous other medals. He was a life member of the Hilton Fire Department.

Crawford, James R., Suddenly, March 25, 2003 at age 64. He was predeceased by his parents and his grandson, Joseph James NaDell. He is survived by his wife Joan M. Crawford; three daughters, Karen (Tony) NaDell, Kathleen (Sean) O'Brien and Jean Craddock; his mother-in-law, June Seuberlich; brother-in-law, Paul (Dianna) Seuberlich; seven grandchildren; a niece, nephews and many friends. He was the owner of Crawford's Service Station on Buffalo Road in Gates for many years.

Dorothy was a retired English teacher from Greece Central School District.

Antinore, James V., 64, of Norwich, formerly of LeRoy, a well-known real estate broker and businessman who enjoyed antiques and fishing, especially surf fishing off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina died on his birthday, Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Mr. Antinore was born September 10, 1939, in LeRoy, a son of Ruth Graham Antinore of LeRoy and the late Joseph Antinore. He was a 1957 graduate of LeRoy High School and a 1959 graduate of State University at Canton with a degree in mechanical technology.
He joined Champion Products in Geneseo as an industrial engineer in 1963 and moved to Norwich in 1972 to be plant manager at Champion. He also was director of manufacturing of Norwich Shoe Company in 1978.
He began selling real estate for Bob Cummings Realty in 1981 and began his own business, Jim Antinore Realty, three years later. He semi-retired in 2001 and worked part-time for Bruce Beadle Realty.
He was a member and past president of Norwich Rotary Club and was a former member of Geneseo Rotary. He was a member of American Legion Post 189 in Norwich, Norwich Elks Lodge 1222 and St. Bartholomew's Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Grace Combo Antinore, whom he married October 26, 1963, in Caledonia; four children, James (Colette) Antinore of Greenville, North Carolina, Michael (Theresa Nester) Antinore of Seattle, Steve Antinore of Norwich and Lynn (Bill) Ely of Treasure Island, Florida; four grandchildren, Ryan Antinore, Gracelyn Ely, Jessie and Al LeFrancois; a sister, Chip (Fran) O'Geen of LeRoy; brothers, Joseph (Joan) Antinore of Rochester, Jack (Emily) Antinore of Holley, and David (Karen) Antinore of LeRoy; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Carl and Loretta Combo of Caledonia and Joseph and Rowena Combo of Elba; and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Jeanette Antinore.
Memorials can be made to Hospice, American Cancer Society, St. Bartholomew's Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Boci, Edward, 88, died September 14, 2003 at the Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center after a long illness. He worked at Lipton's Foods doing AC and refrigeration repair until retiring in 1980 and also owned his own refrigeration business. He was an Army veteran, a member of the Albion Sportsman Club, St. Mary's Church and avid hunter and fisherman.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence in 2001. He is survived by his daughter Carol of Lockport and several nieces and nephews in New York and California. He is predeceased by a brother and four sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be held October 11, 2003 at St. Mary's Church. Interment at the convenience of the family.
