Eleanor H. McKinney, 79, in Arizona
Eleanor (Ellie) H. McKinney, 79, of Sun City, Arizona, died January 1, 2005. She was born May 21, 1925 in Clarkson, to Raymond and Violet Bechtold. She grew up in the Adams Basin area where she met her husband, Edward P. McKinney. They raised four boys before retiring to Sun City in 1974. She was known to everyone for her thoughtful cards, kind words, and deeds. Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend to all who knew her. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and the Sun City Computer Club. Ellie was also a charter member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Spencerport Fire Department.
Eleanor is survived by Edward, her husband of 61 years; sons Edward (Sandy) and James (Christy) of Spencerport, son, Donald (Jan) Peoria, Arizona; daughter-in-lw, Candy Hurlbut, Spencerport. She was predeced in death by her son, George R. McKinney. Other survivors include her brother, Robert Bechtold (Sara), Spencerport; sister, Carolyn Direen, Colorado Springs, Colorado; five McKinney grandchildren, Edward James, Pflugerville, Texas; Jeff (Jessie), Scott (Tracy) and Cindy, Spencerport; Mandi, Glendale, Arizona; three great-grandchildren; Keegan, Kennedy and Anna, Spencerport. She was also surrounded by the love of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends in New York and Arizona.
After she died, this quote was found on her computer, "To the world you might only be one person, but to one person you might be the world." This message speaks of her approach to life and how she touched everyone she met.
Eleanor's life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, January 19 at 3 p.m. at the White Church (First Congregational United Church of Christ) located at 65 Church Street, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to Hospice Family Care, 9045 West Athens Street, Building 1, Peoria, Arizona 85382.

Doell, Carl R., December 31, 2004, age 89. He is survived by his devoted wife, Eleanore (Bourne) Doell; his sons, Charles (Judith) and John (Margaret) Doell; five grandchildren, Charlene, Sara, Molly, Daniel, Joanna Doell. He was a member of Clio Lodge #779 F.&A.M., Rochester Consistory, Leah Chapter #183 O.E.S. and Parma Grange.
A Funeral Service was held January 4 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester 14620 in his memory.

Peterson, Norman O., January 3, 2005, age 72. He leaves his loving wife of 45 years, Harriet; sons, Norman Jr. (Kim), John (Terry) and David (Karen) Peterson; daughters, Katherine (David) Merritt and Ann Peterson; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; sister, Janet (Don) Bauch; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held January 6 at Spencerport Bible Church. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester 14620 in his memory.

Fatta, Frank V., December 27, 2004, age 89. He is survived by his wife, Mary J. Fatta; his children, Richard (Patricia) Fatta, Carol (Ken) Dain and Judy Wishart; brother, James (Sarah) Fatta; two sisters, Ellie Engler and Mary Cashul; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was said January 8 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Entombment White Haven. Those wishing can contribute to St. Joseph Church, 38710 5th Avenue, Zephyrhills, Florida 33542 in his memory.

Pelcher, Richard N., December 26, 2004, age 58. Predeceased by his father, Harold. Survived by his wife, Michele Spring; daughters, Kathryn Williams, Amanda and Danielle Pelcher; mother, Louise Pelcher; sisters, Patricia (Lester) Beninati, Barbara (Leroy) Foerster; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be announced at a later date. Contributions can be made to any Cancer Research Organization in his memory.

Badge, Terry E., Peacefully, after a long illness, January 4, 2005, age 55. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Badge; her son, Frank R. (Vida Johnston) Badge; her mother, Irene Burley; sisters, Bonnie (Roger) Luce, Peggy Charles and Donna Green (Keith Holman); brothers, Frank Roe, Tim Roe (Robin Hess) and Donald Green; her aunt, Doris Wilson; cousins, Ray and Irma Badge; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held January 6 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Spring interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center in her memory.

Chike, Alfred H., December 31, 2004 at age 85. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Stella. Survived by daughters, Mary (Gordon) Lasch, Ann Ross, Rose (David) Beswick, Kathy (Robert) Hug; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; dearest friend Ricci Cocco; and several nieces and nephews.
Renowned for his devotion to fundraising and firematic organizations. Alfred served as past president of M.C.V.F.A. and held numerous positions in the Brockport Fire Department, Monroe County, Western New York, and NYS Volunteer Firemen Associations, Brockport and Hamlin Exempts, Brockport American Legion, B.P.O.E. and Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
A Funeral Mass was said January 4 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Donations can be made to the Brockport Fire Department Exempts and the Genesee Valley Hospice in his memory.

Hess, Helga E. (Kartes), January 1, 2005, age 41. Predeceased by her father, Rudolf. Survived by her husband, John; mother, Liesa; sister, Silvia (David) Rodak; nephews, David (Amy) and Nicholas (Mary Anne) Rodak, T.J. Klee; niece, Theresa Rodak.
Funeral Services were held January 7 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Fibromyalgia Association in her memory.

Ver Wulst, Arthur L., Peacefully, January 2, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Grace (Hinkley); his children, Betty (Robert) Yerico, Helen (Clair) Smith, Mary Frederick, John (Sue) Ver Wulst and Kathleen (Randall) Dalheim; sister, Marie Hillegeer; 18 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was said January 6 at St. Jude's Church. Burial, St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. Jude's Church, Hilton Fire Department or GRHCA Hospice in his memory.

Dralle', Rainer O., December 30, 2004 at age 62. He is survived by his wife Martina Dralle'; daughter, Monika (Michael Padovano) Dralle': granddaughters, Amilia and Martina; sisters in Germany, Angelika, Renate, Dagmar and Astrid; and many friends. Rainer was the former owner of the Plaza Coffee Shop in Downtown Rochester.
A Memorial Service was held January 4 at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home. Private interment. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 in his memory.
