U.S., Obituary Collection, 1930-Current

Roach, Anna Mae, May 12, 2007 at age 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Roach. She is survived by her children Robert L. Roach and Clara Ann Davis; sister, Betty Thousand of Texas; sisters-in-law, Eileen Stackman and Loretta (Edward) Verwiere; her seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Ferris Goodridge Post #330.
A Funeral Service was held May 15 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Inter-ment, St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.

LaFaro, Joseph E. ("Joe the Cook") ("Papa Joe") ("Sonny"), died June 18, 2007. He was a great Italian Chef of Rochester and opened many restaurants. Survived by children, Donna and Gene (Beth); grandchildren, Aaron, Nicholas and Amy; sisters, Rosie, Mammi, Lucille and Anna, all of Hornell, New York; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Mass was held June 30 at Holy Cross Church, Rochester.

Anderson, John E., June 27, 2007 at age 58. He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Stephanie Anderson and his brother, George T. Anderson. He is survived by his siblings Harold J. (Ruby) Anderson Jr., Carolyn (Michael) Stimson and Marjorie A. Wallace.
A Memorial Mass was said June 30 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Churchville. Contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church, "Human Development Fund," 11 North Main Street, Churchville 14428 or American Diabetes Association in his memory.

Howard, Beulah, June 20, 2007, age 90. Survived by two sons, Richard (Barbara) Howard of Bergen; John (Laurie) Howard of Churchville; daughter, Jean (Chuck Streeter) Knobloch of Kent; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. Wife of the late Harold E. Howard and sister of the late Julia Hunt and Warren Robertson.
Funeral Services were held June 23 at H. E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Bergen. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.

DeRosa, Adolph, June 26, 2007 at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Helen; daughter Carolyn (Harold) Mundy; two granddaughters Kristin (Keith) Evling, Cynthia Mundy; sister Angie (Lee) Briar of Hamden, Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was said June 29 at Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Hospital in his memory.

DiPasquale, Rose M. (Marion), June 20, 2007. Predeceased by her son, Samuel. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George Marion; daughters, Denise (Dean) Fulton and Joyce (Jerry) Westveer; brother, Frank (Marge) DiPasquale; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated June 26 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.

Mills, George E., Devoted husband, father and grandfather. June 20, 2007, at age 62, following a courageous battle with cancer. George is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Steve (Kyra); daughters, Lisa and Amy (Dennis); grandchildren, Sarah, Camryn and Alyson Mills; sisters, Ethel (Ken) Care and Harriet (Bob) McGetrick; brother, William Mills and several nieces and nephews.
Service and Interment were private. Contributions can be made to the Interlakes Oncology, 211 White Spruce Boulevard, Rochester 14623 in his memory.

Wilcox, Bernice F., June 23, 2007, age 82. Predeceased by her son, William E. Wilcox. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William W. Wilcox; children Margaret (Jim) Theriault, John (Judy) Wilcox, Bernice (Jim) Lachman, Robert (Liz) Wilcox and Anne (George) Leach; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Bernice is a longtime resident of Chili and former Chili Town Historian.
Funeral Services were held June 27 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Interment, St. Pius Cemetery. Donations can be made to WNY Landmark Society or Unity Health Dialysis of Rochester in her memory.

Cramer, Mildred A., formerly of Long Eddy, Jamestown, and Ithaca, New York, died June 12, 2007 at age 98. Predeceased by her husband, Roger W. Cramer. Survived by her daughter Barbara (John) Henry of Spencerport; son Bruce (Mary Ann) Cramer of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, James (Diem) Henry, Kathy (Tom) Adair, Christy (Brad) Brewer, Scott (Heather) Cramer; six great grandchildren.
Memorial Service and interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.

Morris, Harold Ellsworth, June 22, 2007, age 95. Predeceased by his wife Mildred J. Morris; survived by his daughters Pamela Fusilli and Paula (Paul) Forrest; grandchildren April, Todd and Hayley.
Services and interment private in McPeliah Cemetery.

She is survived by her Children, Robert (Tanja) Markese, Marlene (Robert) Rock, Barbara Jean (Robert) Thulin; grandchildren, Nick, Michele, Robert, Jamie & Nancy Anne; great grandchildren, Robert, Nicky, Louis, Ethan & Jared; many family & friends.
Born at: Buffalo, NY
History: Mary was retired from General Dynamics. She was a very family oriented person. She was always the peacemaker. She loved to cook, play cards & tend to her yard. She was kind, loving generous, caring & giving. She was a quiet person who was described as Classy by the people who cared for her at St. John`s Home. She was a great lady who will be sadly missed by her family.
Services: BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.) Visiting Hours will be Sunday November 23, 2003 from 2-4 ONLY. All are invited to attend Mary`s Funeral Mass on Monday November 24, 2003 at 11 AM at St. Lawrence Church (North Greece Rd.) Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
