JOHNSON CITY - Elizabeth Stratton Burgess, 90, of Hilltop Manor, Johnson City, passed away Monday, May 3, 1999 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, with the Very Rev. James C. Jones, rector of The Church of the Good Shepherd officiating.

SHERBURNE - Oswald H. Schieffer, well known restauranteur, died at the age of 77 at the New York State Veterans' Home on May 2, 1999 with his family at his side.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10 at St. Malachy's Church in Sherburne with Rev. Edmund Castronovo officiating. Burial will be held at St. Malachy's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wm. W. Kehoe Funeral Home, Sherburne.
ALBERT DECLUE
BAINBRIDGE - Albert S. DeClue, a prominent attorney and resident of Bainbridge died on April 30, 1999 after an extended illness. He was 83.
Mr. DeClue was a faithful parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church in Bainbridge. A memorial mass, to which the public is invited, will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. There will be no calling hours. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, any donations in Mr. DeClue's memory be made to the Bainbridge United Way.

SHERBURNE - Lucy M. Swan, 97 years, of Sherburne passed away Sunday, May 2, 1999 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Classic Street, Sherburne with Rev. Bruce MacDuffie officiating. Burial will be made in the Episcopal Church Cemetery, Sherburne. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Burgess Funeral home, 10 South Main St., Sherburne.

OXFORD - Dale K. Wackford, 64, of Davis Lane, Oxford, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 3, 1999 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital of Norwich.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Bruce MacDuffie, Rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Oxford, will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. SHERBURNE - Harry H. (Houghton) Purdy of Baldwin, Long Island, formerly of the Sherburne/Oxford area, died May 1, 1999 at the age of 93. He was residing at the Valley View Manor Nursing Facility in Norwich.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the William W. Kehoe Funeral Home, Sherburne. Rev. William Webb, grandson, will officiate. Calling hours are tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be May 5 at the Greenfield Cemetery (family plot) in Hempstead, Long Island.
