James S. Flanagan to Give Address Before Elks Today
Annual Lodge of Sorrow at Temple at 3 o'Clock
Oneida, Dec. 6. - The annual lodge of sorrow of Oneida Lodge, 767,
H.P.O. Elks, will be conducted at the temple at 3 o'clock tomorrow
afternoon.
All friends of the fraternity and relatives of the 15 members who
have died during the past year have been invited to attend the
exercise which will be conducted in the lodge rooms.
The program will be:
Piano selection, Albert Anguish; opening ceremonies, lodge officers;
Prayer, the Rev. John J. Butler; Quartet, "One Sweetly Solemn Though,"
Ambrose, William F. Herman, Ronald Coates, Howell Williams, Norman
Petzoldt; Necrology, Judge William F. Santry; Solo, "The Vacant Chair,"
Mrs. Robert G. Taylor; opening ceremonies, continued, lodge officers;
Oration, James S. Flanagan; Norwich Lodge, 1222, B.P.O. Elks; Quartet,
"Sunset and Evening Star," Wiegand; closing ceremonies, Lodge officers;
Prayer and Benediction, the Rev. John J. Butler.
