Evelyn Felker, 60, of Noble, Oklahoma, died Monday at her home in Noble.
Born June 18, 1936, in Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Felker had lived in the
Noble/Purcell area for the past seven years, after moving there from Amsterdam.
She was raised and attended schools in Vilnia, Ark.
She was married to Donald Henry Felker. He died in 1989.
Mrs. Felker worked for Four Seasons Nursing Home as a certified nurses
aide until her retirement in July of 1996.
She was a member of the Norman First Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include her mother, Elva Waddle of Conway, Ark.; two sons,
David Felker and Robert Felker both of Noble;one daughter, Donna Myers
of Amsterdam; three brothers, Calvin Hall, Royce Waddle and David Waddle
all of Arkansas; six sisters, Joe Dyson, Catherine Taylor, Dorothy Sparkman,
Bobbie Lewis, Laura McEntarfrer, and Jennete Cleaver all of Arkansas; and
two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Wadley's Funeral Chapel with
the Rev. Doy Elmore officiating.
Interment will be in Hopping Cemetery, Wayne, Okla.
Arrangements are by the Wadley's Funeral Service, Purcell, Oklahoma.
Emma Clarke
Emma L. O'Brien Clarke, 95, of 265 Southshore Road, Edinburgh, formerly
of Brooklyn, died Tuesday at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health
Care Facility, Amsterdam.
Born in Brooklyn on May 13, 1901, she resided in the Flatbush section
of Brooklyn on East 37th St., for many years. Mrs. Clarke moved to Northville
in 1989 to be with her daughter. She had been a purchasing agent for St.
John's Hospital in Brooklyn for more than 20 years retiring in 1989.
She married Howard W. Clarke on Oct. 1, 1920 in Brooklyn. He died March
22, 1970.
Mrs. Clarke was of the Roman Catholic Faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Ferrara of Northville; and one
sister, Elizabeth DeVoy of Brooklyn.
Services will be held Friday at 7:30 a.m. from the Church of the Immaculate
Conception in Glenville.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Glenville
Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 1 p.m. in Long Island
National Cemetery, Farmingdale.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the church, in care
of M.E. DeMarco Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville, 12302.
Pansy Davis
Pansy F. Elder Davis, 102, of Americare Arlington Health Care Center,
formerly of Staunton Avenue, Parkersburg, died Wednesday morning at the
Americare Arlington Health Care Center.
Mrs. Davis was born in Ritchey, Co., on Dec. 17, 1893, a daughter of
William Rymer and Laura Fordham Elder.
She was of the Christian faith. She had been a member of the Stephenson
Memorial United Methodist Church since 1931, where she was very activing,
holding several offices and teaching Sunday School. Mrs. Davis was the
oldest surviving member of the church and retired as caretaker of the church
following 24 years of service.
She was also an active member of the United Methodist Women, and a member
of Clara Edna Chapter No. 140, Order of the Eastern Star and Miriam Rebekah
Lodge No. 1. She attended Glenville Normal School and beginning at the
age 16, taught school in Ritchie County for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Doy R. Davis of East Greenbush, N.Y., and
the Rev. Rymer Dale Davis of Charleston, one brother, Burton F. Elder of
Parkersburg, two half brothers, Herbert R. Elder of Northport, Fla., and
Joseph W. Elder of Frederickstown, Ohio, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Coy H. Davis, her step-mother,
Maud Mathurs Nicholas Elder, a son, Ray Davis, two sisters, two brothers,
and two step-brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Stephenson Memorial United Methodist
Church with the Rev. William M. Haynes Jr., and the Rev. Peggy Scharf officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours are at the Leavitt
Funeral Home, Parkersburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and at the church one
hour prior to the service. An Eastern Star memorial service will be held
at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
Dorothy Louer
Mrs. Dorothy McKnight Louer, 85, formerly of Amsterdam, died Thursday
morning at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs following
a long illness.
Born on Dec. 30, 1910, in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of William
and Ethel Evans Silk. She resided at the Wesley Health Care Center since
March of 1995.
Mrs. Louer was employed as a clerical worker at the former Mohasco Industries
in Amsterdam, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Saratoga Springs.
She was first married to Wilfred McKnight on Aug. 29, 1932. He died
Feb. 11, 1969. In September of 1982, she married Milford Louer.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Linda Rodriquez
of Ballston Spa; a step-son, Milford Louer Jr. of Hagaman and a granddaughter,
Susan Douglas of Ballston Spa.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Betz Funeral
Home Inc., 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, with the Rev. Jane Borden of the
Wesley Health Care Center officiating. Interment will be in Hagaman Cemetery.
A calling hour will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley Health Care Center,
in care of the funeral home.
Jennie "Jane" Tarmey
Mrs. Jennie Tarmey, 98, formerly of Gloversville, died Thursday at the
Fulton County Infirmary, where she was a resident since 1979.
Mrs. Tarmey was born in Richmond, Mass., and attended schools in Stockbridge,
Mass. before moving to Gloversville in the 1930s.
For 17 years, she was a glove maker at the former Crocetta Glove Shop.
She was a member of the Fremont Street United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Tarmey was married to Henry J. Tarmey. He died in 1949.
Survivors include two daughters, Audrey Deichsel of Denver and Norma
Huckaby Woodwock of Mayfield; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the John W.
Finocan Funeral Home, 13 Prospect Ave., Gloversville. Burial will be in
Prospect Hill Cemetery.
A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Infirmary Auxiliary.
Milton Tatar
Milton Tatar, 79, of Albany, formerly of Gloversville, died Thursday
at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness.
Born and educated in Chicago, Mr. Tatar moved to Gloversville in 1934.
He served as a staff sergeant in the Army Air Force.
Mr. Tatar owned and operated with his family, the former Daytona Glove
Co. on Phair Street in Gloversville, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Knesseth Israel Synagogue, the Jewish Community Center
and was an associate member of the Nathan Littauer Hospital Auxiliary.
He was a former member of the Eccentric Club in Gloversville.
He married Florence Freeman Tatar on April 1, 1944.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Dr. Mark Tatar of
Averill Park; two brothers, Richard Tatar of Palm Desert, Calif., and Harold
Tatar of San Francisco; and a grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Knesseth
Israel Synagogue. Burial will be in Knesseth Israel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the synagogue.
Arrangements are by the Hollenbeck Funeral Home in Gloversville.
Angel Collado
Mr. Angel Collado, 85, of the Montgomery County Infirmary, formerly
of Third Ave., Canajoharie, died Thursday evening at St. Mary's Hospital,
Amsterdam, after a long illness.
Born in Tampa, Fla., Feb. 16, 1911, he was the son of Felix Collado
and Josefa Perez. He was educated in Florida.
Mr. Collado was employed in the Strained Foods Department at Beech-Nut
in Canajoharie in various capacities, retiring in 1973. Previously, he
was a glove cutter in Gloversville.
He lived in Canajoharie for most of his life after moving from Tampa.
He lived at the infirmary for the past 2 years.
Mr. Collado was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul's Roman Catholic Church
in Canajoharie.
He was a eucharistic minister at the church, a former member of the
Knights of Columbus, a member of the Holy Names Society and an avid wood
worker.
He married Florence Tiberio May 4, 1935, in Canajoharie.
Survivors include his wife, Florence A. "Phyllis" Collado of the Montgomery
County Infirmary, Amsterdam; two daughters, Patricia Ann Grainer of Canajoharie
and Barbara Marie Lesa of Whittier, Calif.; two sisters, Zoila Becerra
of Yonkers and Vera Cerezo of Commack; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter,
Patricia Mary Collado, who died March 1, 1940.
A prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel of the
Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 20 Otsego St., Canajoharie, followed
at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Canajoharie,
where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
The Rev. William J. Gaffigan will officiate.
Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
Calling hours are Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frances Morey
Mrs. Frances Theresa Morey, 99. of the Kingsway Manor, Schenectady,
died Thursday evening at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady
Born May 8, 1897, in the Town of Glen, she was the daughter of Anthony
and Anna Dulczewski. She attended St. Stanislaus School and was a resident
of Amsterdam until 1960, when she moved to La Jolla, Calif. In 1987, she
returned to Northport, until moving to Schenectady in 1991.
She was a dental receptionist in the office of her husband, Dr. Andrew
Thomas Morey, before retiring in 1960.
She was a member of the former St. Joseph's Church of Amsterdam
She was married to Andrew Thomas Morey, who died Jan. 7, 1987.
Survivors include a son, Robert Morey of Cooperstown; a daughter, Patronella
White of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; a sister, Eva Greller of Amsterdam; five grandchildren,
nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St.
Stanislaus Church. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home, 200 Church St., Amsterdam.
Margaret Krajewski
Margaret S. Krajewski, 76, of 122 Stahl Road, Town of Oppenheim, died
Friday at home.
She was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Queens, the daughter of Henry J. and
Sophie Oppel Ranzinger. She was educated in New York City schools and lived
in Dolgeville for the past 10 years.
Mrs. Krajewski was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Rubas of Oppenheim and Ruth
Drescher of Lindenhurst; a step-son, Robert Skapinski of Gloversville;
a good friend, Anthony J. Skapinski of Dolgeville; seven grandchildren;
14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother and four sisters.
The funeral is Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Smith-Woody and Enea Funeral
Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville.
Calling hours are Sunday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
Cremation will be in the Leatherstocking Crematory in Cherry Valley.
Lester Zoller
Lester E. Zoller, 84, of Brookmans Corners Road, Fort Plain, died Friday
at Little Falls Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in the Town of Minden Aug. 24, 1912, the son of Howard and
Rhoda Brookman Zoller. He was educated at the former Brookmans Corners
School and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Zoller was a self-employed dairy farmer in the Town of Minden, retiring
in 1976. He was also a director of the Mohawk Minden Insurance Company.
For 30 years, from 1963 to 1993, Mr. Zoller was a councilman in the
Town of Minden.
He was a member of the Otsquago Grange in Hallsville and a member of
the Montgomery County Republican Club.
He was married Nov. 25, 1937, at the home of his bride, Evelyn O. Snyder,
in Minden.
Survivors include his wife, of Minden; a daughter, Shirley Z. Bouck
of Fort Plain; a son, Larry A. Zoller of Fort Plain; a sister, Ethel Conroy
of Canajoharie; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family
at the Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center St., Fort Plain,
with the Rev. Kenneth Dingman officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Plain Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

Rose Martuscello
Rose Martuscello, 94, formerly of Amsterdam, died Friday at the Van
Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls, where she had been a patient for a short
time.
She was the daughter of Anthony and Anna Conti Altieri.
For many years, Mrs. Martuscello and her husband, William Martuscello,
owned and operated the Florida Avenue Market in Amsterdam, retiring in
1963.
She was predeceased by her husband. Survivors include a son, Joseph
Martuscello of Dolgeville, with whom she lived for the past 10 years; four
sisters, Alice Chiricko, Amelia Percassi, Josephine Sievert and Alvina
Zappone; three brothers, Frank, Herman and Richard Altieri; seven grandchildren;
16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Amsterdam.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Calling hours are Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Betz Funeral Home,
171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam.
Arrangements are in care of the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville
Ave., Dolgeville.
