Brunswick - Hilda M. Hull Carello, 84, of Hudson Drive, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital Troy, after a brief illness.
Born in Williamstown, MA she was daughter of the late Raymond and Edna Ott Hull and wife for 51years of Frederick 'Skitch' Carello. She had resided most of her life in the Troy area and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1940.
Mrs. Carello was employed in food service at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for 20 years, retiring in 1984 and prior to that she worked at Beck Shoes in Troy.
She was a member of Christ Church United Methodist and the Watervliet Senior Citizens.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Gerald W. Reynolds (Patricia) of North Troy; two daughters, Sharon Reynolds Ofner of Crown Point, NY and Jennifer Carello Elliott (Robert) of Troy; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Sue Ann Reynolds LaMere.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy with Rev. C. Joseph Ingraham, Pastor Emeritus of the Christ Church United Methodist, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8PM. Interment Memory's Garden in Colonie.

Kelly A. Carner, 40
Raymertown - Kelly A. Carner, 40, of Cooksboro Road, died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital Troy, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Troy, she was the beloved daughter and best friend of Phyllis M. Coonradt Carner of Raymertown and the late Harvey A. Carner. She had resided in Cropseyville for 15 years and the past 25 years on Cooksboro Road in Raymertown and was a 1980 graduate of Tamarac High School.
Kelly was a Certified Nurse Assistant at the Eddy Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes. Her entire life was dedicated to kindness toward and caring of elderly people, her family, fellow employees and animals. She was known for her likable ways and love for others.
Survivors in addition to her mother and best friend include six sisters, Debra Adams (John) of Wynantskill, Dawn Doty (Bill) of Troy, Dale Ishkanian (Bob) of Troy, Kathy Carner of Colonie, Yvonne Lewandowski (Chet) of Troy and her twin sister Kimberly Reilly (Joe) of Wynantskill; her beloved one and only brother, Harvey J. Carner (Denise) of Schaghticoke; a devoted cousin and friend of 40 years, Shelly Clinton of Waterford; 17 nieces and nephews including her God children, Jonathan Lewandowski and Kelly Reilly; 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves behind her beloved cat of 13 years Wiskers and will be missed by many friends and patients at Eddy Cohoes.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling and Maple Avenues Troy and at 9:30am from St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment Eagle Mills Cemetery.

Anne Marie Campbell
COHOES — Ann Marie Gaunay Campbell, 79, of Cohoes, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, at her home with her loving family surrounding her.
Born in South Troy, daughter of the late William and Jennie Smith Gaunay, she resided in Troy until moving to Cohoes 33 years ago.
A homemaker, she had been employed in the 1960s by the Bendix Corporation in Green Island.
She was a member and past president of the Watervliet Lodge of Elks Auxiliary, a member of the Cohoes Moose Club and a former member of the Watervliet AOH.
She is the beloved wife of 59 years of Gerald Campbell; loving mother of Gerald Campbell, Jr. of Cohoes and the late Ann Marie Wilkinson; sister of Gerard (Bunny) Gaunay of Troy, Joan (late George) Vore of Rotterdam, Jane Gaunay of Middleburgh and the late John and William Gaunay. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her loyal companion, Misty Rose.
Funeral services will be held at the McNulty Funeral Home, 147 Hudson Ave., Green Island, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. with Father John Tallman leading the services.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144, in memory of Ann Marie Campbell.
Michael F. Caruso Jr.
TROY — Michael F. Caruso Jr., 85, of Hamilton Avenue died Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Cornerstone Hospice House in Lady Lake, FL, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Troy, he was son of the late Michael F. Caruso Sr. And Maria (Partroica) Caruso and husband of Ann V. Yannick Caruso for 57 years.
He resided in Troy all his life and for the last eight years, became a snowbird to Lady Lake, FL.
Mr. Caruso worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company in Green Island for many year,s retiring 20 years ago. Prior to that he was a self-employed carpenter.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony Shrine Church in Troy, the United Auto Workers, and the Italian Community Center in Troy.
His first love was his family and loved anything Italian.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughters, Diane (David) Beauregard of VA and Mary Grace (John) Cahill of Troy; two brothers, Louis and Marco Caruso both of Troy; a sister Angie Caruso Wilk of Troy; two grandchildren, Nina and Jered Cahill; a great grandchild, Jack Cahill and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Antoinette Caruso Centrella, and two brothers, Benjamin and Nicholas Caruso.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at Bryce Funeral Home Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Shrine Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.

Charles Drescher
TROY — Charles R. Drescher, 71, of Lansingburgh died Sunday at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Christopher and Anna Olsey Drescher and husband of Marion Harris Drescher of Lansingburgh.
Mr. Drescher was a CDTA mechanic for 30 years until his retirement and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958 and the Air Force Reserve from 1958-1962.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter Patricia (Michael) Sluus of Troy; five stepchildren, William (Sue ) Bradshaw, Troy, Donald Bradshaw, TX., Linda (Michael) Gerighty, Troy, John (Karen) Bradshaw Troy and Michael (Lisa) Bradshaw of Schenectady; three grandchildren, Kala, Robert and Alexis Sluus; 12 step grandchildren.
He was the brother of Larry Drescher of Georgia, and Charles (Marion) Drescher of Troy; and of sisters, Carol Wade of Nevada, Barbara (Joe) Normile of Cohoes, Marie (Joe) Zennaiter of Mechanicville, Gladys Mayo of West Virginia, Richard (Virginia) Drescher of Hoosick Falls, Lorraine (Leslie) Gould Troy, George (Pam) Drescher, Cohoes, Daniel (Sue) Drescher Rexford, Alice (Hal) Burdo of Chestertown, Edward Nolet of Michigan and the late Robert, Albert Edward, Gertrude, Kathleen and Christopher,
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 218 Second Ave. (at 104th Street).

Virginia C. ‘Bid’ Evans
TROY — Virginia C. “Bid” Evans, 83, of Troy and Cossayuna Lake, entered into eternal life on Saturday December 6, 2008, at the Van Rensselaer Manor surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends are invited and may call today from 3-7 p.m. at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. with Father Salvatore Rodino officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Andrew Krutka
COHOES — Andrew M. Krutka, 78, died December 5, 2008, at Samaritan Hospital.
Born in Cohoes and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late John and Anna Solgovic Krutka.
He was a WWII Army veteran and worked at the Watervliet Arsenal in the carpentry shop retiring in 1978.
Mr. Krutka was a jack of all trades who loved polka music, fishing and playing bingo. He was also an avid bowler.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Valcik Krutka. He was father of Michele Krutka, Paula McGovern and the late Michael Krutka. Brother of Michael Krutka, Veronica Geesler and the late Joseph, John and Vendal Krutka, Ann Korzatkowski and Mary Layton. Grandfather of Lisa and Bill McGovern. Greatgrandfather of Zakary and Nicholas Halloran.
Also survived by his dear friend, Chuck Scott, his faithful companion, Koko, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Marra Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
