Ret. Dental Asst., 67
Rose Marie Crawford, a retired dental assistant for Doctors Longo and Chung in Rock Hill and a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at the Seelig Division of Community General Hospital in Harris. She was 67 years of age.
The daughter of the late Albert and Mary McConnell Brennan, she was born February 4, 1934, in Port Jervis. She was the widow of Stanley Crawford.
She is survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Helen and Raymond Witkowski, Mary and John Shaw and Frances Ann Brennan, all of Port Jervis; a sister-in-law, Rose Crawford of Saugerties; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Louis Brennan.
Services were held Saturday at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home in Monticello.
Burial was made in the Rock Hill Cemetery in Rock Hill.

Rachel C. Terrano
Homemaker, 82
Rachel C. Terrano, of Beach Lake, Pa. and formerly of Narrowsburg, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, Pa. She was 82.
The daughter of the late Bernard and Maggie Clifton, she was born July 22, 1925 in North Carolina. She was married for 61 years to Frank P. Terrano, who survives.
She was a member of the Tusten Vol. Ambulance Corps for 14 years. A family statement read, “Rachel was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She devoted her life to her family. She will be greatly missed by all.”
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Keith Terrano and his wife, Janine of Washington State; a brother, Bruce Clifton; two sisters, Charlene Bennett and Corrine Falk; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by four sons, James, Paul, Matthew and Brian; her brother, Harvey and her sister, Edna.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 29 at 1 p.m. at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St., Narrowsburg. Pastor Bruce R. Burke will officiate.
Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Long Island National Cemetery.

Raymond Giella
Business owner, 69
Raymond Giella of Liberty, died on December 16, 2007 in the loving arms of his family at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC. He was 69.
He was born in Brooklyn on August 4, 1938 to the late Anthony and Emily Spadalini Giella.
He was the founder of Inward House and was also the owner of Liberty Honda Kawasaki.
A family statement reads, “You helped hundreds, and we thank you for all you gave us”.
Raymond was the loving husband of 40 years to Diane Mancini Giella; wonderful Daddy to Lisa Rae, Michael, Daniel, and Angie. He was the devoted Pop Pop to Laina and Nina; and a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday December 21, 2007 at 11:45 AM in St. Peter’s RC Church, 264 North Main St., Liberty with Rev. Ivan Csete officiating.
Cremation will be at the convenience of the family at Cedar Hill Crematory Newburgh.

Charles J. Wright
Co-Owner Auto Shop, 44
Charles J. Wright of Warwick, a self-employed co-owner of The Discount Auto Detailing in Warwick and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick. He was 44 years of age.
The son of Benjamin Sr. and Doris Kanoff Wright, he was born March 17, 1957, in Middletown.
He is survived by his companion, Aud Orby, and her son, Frank; two sons, Curtis and Brandon Wright; a brother, Benjamin Wright Jr. of Slate Hill; three sisters, Louise Wright of Middletown, Ruth Bressi of Rock Hill and Linda Rodriquez of Monticello; and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday at the Strong-Basile Funeral Home in Warwick with the Rev. Wayne Keller officiating.
Burial was made in Warwick Cemetery.

Reta C. Owen
Ret. Teacher/Cook, 98
Reta. C. Owen of Livingston Manor, a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, June 24, 2001, at the Roscoe Community Nursing Home in Roscoe. She was 98 years of age.
The daughter of the late John and Eliza Hall Crook, she was born September 10, 1902, at Seager in the Town of Hardenburgh, Ulster County. She was the widow of Bowman H. Owen who passed away July 19, 1982.
Mrs. Owen was a graduate of Margaretville High School and took a summer course at Oneonta Normal School before teaching for two years in a one-room school.
After her marriage to Mr. Owen on August 29, 1923, they spent most of their married life working for the Balsam Lake Fishing Club in Beaverkill where she was the manager and cook for 25 years while taking care of the Club House at Balsam Lake. After his retirement, they sold their new home and land to Zen Studies of Beecher Lake.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bowman G. and Jeannette Owen, and Gail A. Owen, all of Livingston Manor; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Kenneth Huggins of Oneonta; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Owen, who died December 11, 1997.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave., Roscoe.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nelson Owen officiating.
Burial will be made in the Andes Cemetery in Andes.

Joseph Andruseaski of Sparrowbush, a retired baker for The Donut Man in Plainview, L.I., and a longtime area resident, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at the Andover Nursing Home in Andover, N.J. He was 85 years of age.
The son of the late Joseph and Stella Kucenska Andruseaski, he was born January 13, 1916, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He was the widower of Katherine Walsh Andruseaski.
He is survived by a daughter, Joann Bowden of Dover, N.J.; a son, Richard Baughan of Mineola, L.I.; five sisters, Grace Andruseaski of Bound Brook, N.J., Bertha Baumer of California, Stella Baluta of Bound Brook, N.J., and Freda Schrott and Ceil Janis, both of the state of Florida; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, with Father Joseph Tokarczyk of St. Joseph's R.C. Church officiating.
Burial will be made in the Glen Spey Cemetery.
Anastasia Buckley

Anastasia Buckley of Holiday, Fla., a homemaker and former Monroe resident, died Monday, February 19, 2001, in Holiday, Fla. She was 69 years of age.
The daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hogan Ryan, she was born March 1, 1931, in the Bronx. She was the widow of Robert D. Buckley who died on March 19, 1995.
Mrs. Buckley was a former member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Monroe and a former employee of Monroe-Woodbury School, em-ployed at the Junior High School for six years. She was active in the Parent-Teacher Association at Sacred Heart School in Monroe.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Kevin and Barbara Buckley of Staten Island and Ronald and Tabatha Buckley of Monroe; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary and Robert Druttman of New Port Richey, Fla., Patricia and Ken Wright of Monroe and Theresa Monaco of Bloomingburg; a brother, John Ryan of Manahawkin, N.J.; a sister, Alice Donnelan of Palm Coast, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Daniel Druttman, Robert, Andrew and Emily Buckley, Joseph, Matthew, Rachel Asprea and Christian Wright and Jeremy Monaco; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass was offered Saturday at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Monroe with the Rev. George Pulpariyil officiating.
Interment of the cremains was made in St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Sunday, October 7, at 5 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church in Mongaup Valley for Steven Genovese who died September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center in New York.
Refreshments will be served at his parents' Gaetano Cafe and Lounge in Mongaup Valley, following the services.

Robert Kraus
Ret. Electrician, 80
Robert Kraus of Yulan, a retired electrician with the New York Telephone Company in Brooklyn and a longtime area resident, died Monday, October 1, 2001, at Somers Manor Nursing Home in Somers. He was 80 years of age.
The son of the late William and Anna Savandent Kraus, he was born December 10, 1920, in Brooklyn.
Mr. Kraus was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Yulan. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the Asiatic Pacific area.
He is survived by three nephews, Gerald Kraus and William Kraus, both of Mahopac, and Donald Kraus of Carmel; a niece, Diane Gorden of Port Richey, Fla.; and two sisters-in-law, Marian Egar and Loretta Smith, both of Yulan.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Gray-Rasmussen Funeral Home in Barryville, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Anthony's Church in Yulan with the Rev. Evan Greco officiating.
Burial was made in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Eldred.
