Fena Hasbrouck of Sarasota, Fla., a former resident of Liberty, died Wednesday, October 11, 2000, in Sarasota. She was 77 years of age.
Mrs. Hasbrouck worked for the Sarasota County School Board, was an independent insurance agent in Sarasota and was a receptionist for Intimate You Beauty Salon. She also did public relations, sales and advertising for dance studios in the Sarasota area, was a musculasr dystrophy volunteer and a Girl Scout volunteer.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Evans-Gordon, Susan L. Hasbrouck and Teresa L. Hasbrouck, and a son, Luis F. Hasbrouck, all of Sarasota, Fla; two brothers, Peter Oliva of Casselberry, Fla., and Tommy Oliva of Yakima, Wash; a sister, Louise Gerow of Winter Park, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Incarnation Catholic Church followed by burial in Palms Memorial Park in Sarasota, Fla.

Jean ‘Jan’ Kupiec
Ret. Plumber, 83
Jean "Jan" Kupiec of Liberty, a 46-year area resident and a retired plumber for the Grossinger's Hotel, died Friday, October 13, 2000, at the Seelig Division of Community General Hospital in Harris. He was 83 years of age.
The son of the late Stanislas and Julia Mazur Kupiec, he was born May 12, 1917, in Poland.
Mr. Kupiec was a member of Local 269 Plumbers Union in Newburgh and a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty. He served in the French Army during World War II as a military policeman.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Kupiec of Liberty; two daughters, Genevieve Dainack of Forestburgh and Christiane and her husband, Kenneth Emery, of Liberty; and four grandchildren, Dylan and Dustin Dainack and Travis and Zack Emery. He was predeceased by four brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Monday at St. Peter's Church in Liberty with the Rev. Robert Bagnato officiating.
Burial was made in St. Peter's Cemetery in Liberty.

Janet E. Ross, 72

Janet Elizabeth Ross of Monticello, the proprietor of Ja-Co Antiques and Displays in Monticello and a lifelong area resident, died at her home on Friday, October 13, 2000. She was 72 years of age.
The daughter of the late Kenneth G. and Ruth B. Brunswick Ross, she was born September 11, 1928, in Monticello.
Miss Ross was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Monticello. She graduated from the Monticello High School and the Pan American Art School.
She is survived by several dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Episcopal Church, St. John St., Monticello, with the Rev. Nina Hutchinson officiating.
Burial will be made in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.

Florence B. Centamore of Bloomingburg, a retired confidential secretary for the James Ottaway Newspaper Company, Marx Toy Company and the Central Intelligence Agency, died Sunday, October 15, 2000, at the Horton Medical Center in Middletown. She was 75 years of age.
The daughter of the late Jacob and Marcella Eastwood Becker, she was born September 10, 1925, in Brooklyn.
Mrs. Centamore was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association and the Geological Society in Warwick, a volunteer for the CASA organization in Orange County, and a retired social worker in Orange County.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Centamore, at home; a son, Marcellus Centamore of Waymart, Pa.; a daughter, Vincenza Garrison of Ellenville; two sisters, Josephine Webster of Queens and Marcella Beckley of New York; three grandchildren, David Oddo, Darlene Nicknam and Gabrielle Centamore; three great-grandchildren, Kelsey Oddo and Melissa and Stephanie Nicknam; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church, Cottage St., Middletown.
Interment will be made in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Middletown.
Burton R. Prince

Burton R. Prince, a 7-year resident of Smallwood and a former lifelong resident of Monroe, died at his home on Wednesday, January 30, 2002, after a long illness. He was 70 years of age.
The son of the late R.B. and Hattie Travis Prince, he was born May 15, 1931, in Monroe.
Mr. Prince was retired from his position as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Monroe Highway Department and Charles Bailey and Co. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Joan Miller Prince, at home; four daughters, Jeri Marie Hubych of Venus, Tex., Kathy Turnbull of Blooming Grove, Laurie Prince of Highland Mills and Vera Brower of Monroe; a brother, Gerald Prince of Monroe; a sister, Doris Vanderlinda of New Jersey; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, George and Merwin Prince.
Friends may call at the Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 1 p.m.
Cremation will be made at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.

Nellie Meacham of East Branch, a 30-year area resident, died Sunday, January 27, 2002, at her home. She was 89 years of age.
The daughter of the late John M. and Isabelle Crawford Meacham, she was born March 26, 1912, in Napoli.
She is survived by many friends and neighbors.
Services were held Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe with the Rev. Donald Baker officiating.
Burial was made in the East Branch Cemetery in East Branch.

Crane Operator, 59
Joseph Call Sr. of Bloomingburg, a crane operator for Cruz Construction in Holmdel, N.J., died Sunday, January 27, 2002, at his home. He was 59 years of age.
The son of the late Benjamin Harry and Genevieve Ludwig Call, he was born July 28, 1942, in Haverstraw.
Mr. Call was a member of the Operators Engineer Local 825 in Springfield, N.J.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Jankowski Call, at home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Jaime Dulac of Sayre, Pa., and Joann and Eric Mattfeld of Middletown; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Joni Call, at home; two sisters, Theresa Wygant of South Carolina and Marie Morgan of Warwick; four brothers, John Call of Greenville, Larry Call of the state of Florida, Gary Call of Bloomingburg and Frank Call of Bethel; five grandchildren, Vanessa Maurizzio, Crystal Woods, Troy Joseph Call, Jason Call and Tyler Robert Mattfeld; and two stepchildren, Courtney Dulac and Curtis Daniel Lewis.
Services were held Wednesday at the Lazear-Smith and Vander Platt Memorial Home in Warwick.
Burial was made in the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.

Funeral services for Charles Rogler of Endwell, age 83, were held Thursday in Endwell.
The son of the late Jacob and Maude Rogler, who operated a store adjoining the Hotel Claire in Youngsville, he spent his youth in Youngsville.
Dominick Guida
Ret. Manager, 83
Dominick Guida of Livingston Manor, a retired manager for Consolidated Laundries and a 22-year area resident, died Monday, January 28, 2002, at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 83 years of age.
The son of the late Peter and Mamie LaRosa Guida, he was born October 30, 1918, in New York City.
Mr. Guida is survived by his wife, Ann Linden Guida, at home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Patricia Guida of Ridge, Raymond and Adrienne Guida of South Huntington and Gary and Jon Guida of Massachusetts; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Christopher Kennedy-Nolle of Bedford; two brothers, James and his wife, Connie Guida, of Vermont, and Rudolph Guida of Alabama; a sister, Mildred Vitti of Bethpage; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be made in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Livingston Manor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, Yulan, with the Rev. Anthony Moore officiating.
Interment will be made in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Eldred.
