Mary K. Morton
Homemaker, 96

Mary Kenney Morton, a 37-year resident of Narrowsburg, a homemaker and former resident of White Plains, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at the Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pa. She was 96 years of age.
The daughter of John and Margaret Mozee Kenney, she was born September 25, 1906, in Louisa, Va. She was the widow of Joseph Morton who died in 1990.
She is survived by a stepson, William H. Morton Sr. of Norwalk, Conn.; a niece, Margaret Ray of Elizabeth, N.J; a nephew, William Kenney Jr. of New Canton, Va., and many grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, William Kenney Sr., a sister, Dorothy Ray, and two stepsons, Joseph Morton Jr. and Phillip L. Morton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Rasmussen Sons Funeral Home in Narrowsburg with the Rev. Phyllis Haynes officiating.
Burial will be made in the Glen Cove Cemetery in Narrowsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Memorial Service for Susan Keiser

A memorial service will be held for Susan Keiser on Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at the Temple Agudas Acham of Livingston Manor. Keiser, 59, of Ardsley and formerly of Liberty, died on January 29, 2007.

Restaurant Worker, 82

Rocco Bellantoni Sr.
Master Craftsman, 54

Rocco Bellantoni Sr. of Woodridge, a master craftsman of Re-Nu Shoe Repair in Monticello, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla after a short illness. He was 54.
The son of the late Anthony Bellantoni Sr. and Antoinette Grabowski Bellantoni, he was born June 16, 1952 in Inwood, LI.
He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Monticello and the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam era.
A family statement read, “A beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.”
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ann Pettito Bellantoni, at home; one daughter, Anne Marie Bellantoni and her fiance, Tom, of Rock Hill; two sons, Rocco Bellantoni Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Rock Hill, and Joseph Bellantoni and his wife, Lori, of Cedartown, Ga.; two grandchildren, Anthony Rocco Bellantoni and Anna Bellantoni; two sisters, Stephanie Dolores Hindley and Stella Ebert, both of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Anthony Bellantoni of Rock Hill; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Pettito of Buffalo, LauraJean Petitto Galletti of Wappingers Falls and Fran Petitto Zeffiro and her husband, Sal, of Middletown; an aunt, Minnie Ardi of Spring Hill, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on March 7 at St. Peter's Church in Monticello. Fr. Robert Ginel officiated.
Burial with military honors was made in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty.
Memorial contributions will be appreciated and accepted by the family at 366 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701 and donated to the Children's Ward at Westchester Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements were made by the VanInwegen-Kenny Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.

Donald B. Campbell
Ret. from NYS Corr. Facility, 63

Donald B. Campbell of Newburgh, a retired employee of the New York State Correctional Facility in Wallkill, died March 3, 2007 at his residence. He was 63.
The son of the late James and Marion Roberts Cartner, he was born July 6, 1943 in Auburn.
A family statement reads, "Dad will be remembered as a loving and caring father and grandfather, who enjoyed playing golf, softball, and trips to Vegas."
Survivors include his wife, Francesca Etta Campbell of Newburgh; a daughter, Cathy King and her husband, Mike of Wall-kill; two sons, Bruce Campbell of New Windsor and Bill Campbell of Newburgh; grandchildren, Jon-Michael and Megan; companion, Donna Cichoski of Newburgh and her family also survive him. They are Dale McGar and her husband, Patrick of Wurtsboro, Jill Cichoski of Vermont, Eve Marie Sorace and her husband, Darrell, of Middletown, and Lynn Cichoski of Colorado; Donna's three grandchildren, Brenden McGar, Caitlin McGar, and Emma Sorace; Don's two brothers, Doug Campbell of Syracuse and Craig Cartner; two sisters, Barbara Thomas of North Carolina and Ronna Grimes of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held March 8 at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home, Inc., Newburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 3300 East Sunrise Dr., Tucson, AZ 85718.
Arrangements were by the Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home.

Evelyn Betty Paduch
Homemaker, 75

Evelyn Betty Paduch of Middletown, a lifelong area resident, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at home surrounded by her family. She was 75.
The daughter of the late Llewellyn and Elsie Doran McGar, she was born February 9, 1932 in Middletown.
On April 9, 1950, she married her beloved husband, Anthony Paduch, at Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown.
In a family statement, it was said, "How we'll miss your smiling face and the good times that we've shared. Your love, your trust, your thoughtfulness showed how much you cared. All our love goes with you ‘til the day we meet again, but for now, we'll cherish memories of Evie, our mom, our friend."
Evelyn is survived by her husband, at home; two sons, Peter L. and his wife, Norma, of Wurtsboro, Michael D. and his wife, Rose, of Middletown; two daughters, Pamela J. Willoughby and her husband, Scott, of Middletown, Antonia "Toni" Y. Vanders and her husband, Ed, of Middletown; 13 grandchildren, Billy, Brian, Jeff, Amy, Beck, Ashley, Bianca, Taylor, Ryan, Sean, Aaron, Amanda and Jacob; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and David McGar and his wife, Loretta; one sister, Lillian Avery of Liberty; and a sister-in-law, Dottie.
She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara McCorvey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Bullville.
Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County, 800 Stonybrook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
Arrangements were under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Middletown.

Antoinette P. Marsh
Store Clerk, 62

Antoinette P. Marsh of Roscoe, a 40-year area resident, formerly of Highland Mills, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at her home. She was 62.
The daughter of the late John Pretko and Pearl Gizler Pretko, she was born November 3, 1944 in Jersey City, N.J.
She was the widow of Garrett C. Marsh Jr.
Antoinette was a retired clerk for Jamesway Stores in Monroe.
Survivors include her loving son, Garry J. Marsh of Fort Myers, Fla.; brothers, Leonard Pretko of Dover, Del., Bernard Pretko of Rahway, N.J., and Edward Pretko of Mahwah, N.J.
She was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Yanick.
There will be no visitation.
A Funeral Mass was held March 8 at St. Patrick's Church, Highland Mills.
Burial was made in Cemetery of The Highlands, Highland Mills.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church Building Fund, 26 Hunter Street, Highland Mills, NY 10930.
Funeral arrangements were by Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Homes, Highland Mills.

Linda Akers
Homemaker, 68

Linda Akers, a lifelong resident of Monticello, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the home of her son, Randy Akers. She was 68.
The daughter of the late Solomon Gerson and Catherine LaVecchia Gerson, she was born January 29, 1939 in Monticello. She was the widow of Robert L. Akers who died August 6, 2002.
She is survived by her children, Randy Akers and his wife, Bernadette, and Tammi Helgesen, all of Monticello, and Robert Akers of Montrose; a sister, Jackie Kiefer and her husband, Lou, of Monticello; grandchildren, Scott, Danielle, Eric, Dylan, Heather, Bob, Kevin, Caleb, Kathryn, Christopher and Christina; a great-granddaughter, Emilee; a nephew, Ramon Cedeira and his fiancée, Kim Sonnenschein; a niece, Denise Cedeira-Thornton and her husband, Bill; a sister-in-law, Mary Jones from Virginia; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Wild Cemetery.

Anthony Ruisi Sr.
Sheet Metal Worker, 27

Anthony Joseph Ruisi Sr. of Wurtsboro, a sheet metal worker for Norsk Metals in Monticello, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 3, 2007 in the Town of Wallkill. He was 27.
The son of Vincent T. Ruisi and the late Sabena K. Gentile Ruisi, he was born May 8, 1979 in Middletown.
Anthony was a member and treasurer of the Tri-State Car Club.
He is survived by a son, Anthony J. Ruisi Jr.; his father, Vincent T. Ruisi; a sister, Jennifer Ruisi, all of Wurtsboro; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many area friends.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, March 8 at St. Joseph's Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Fr. Peter Madori officiated.
Burial was made in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
Memorial contributions made to the family would be appreciated.
Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Wurtsboro.
