James Coltelluccio
Auto Body Repairman, 37

James Coltelluccio of Rock Hill, an auto body repairman with Monroe Ford in Monroe and a former resident of Staten Island, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at his home He was 37 years of age.
The son of Patricia Gregorio and the late Emanuel Vincent Coltelluccio, he was born September 18, 1967, in Brooklyn.
Mr. Coltelluccio was a member of the Rock Hill Fire Department and a member of the Moose Lodge in Wurtsboro.
In a family statement, it was said, "He will be sadly missed by all of his friends at Dutch's Tavern in Rock Hill. He was a big guy with a big heart, who was always there for everyone."
He is survived by his mother of Rock Hill; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Christine and Robert Fair of Monticello, Stephanie and Gino Gaglia of Highland Mills and Dawn and Lami Kosic of Staten Island; a brother and sister-in-law, Emanuel Jr. and Jennifer Coltelluccio of Lake Ronkonkoma; and seven nieces and nephews, Manny III, Matthew, Amir, Anthony, Joseph, Kayla and Sophia.
Friends may call at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Funeral mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Peter's Church, Broadway and Liberty Street, in Monticello.
Burial will be made in the Glen Wild Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Hill Fire Department, Rock Hill, N.Y. 12775.

Louis J. Bruno
Retired Chauffer, 79

Louis J. Bruno of Monticello, a retired chauffer with the New York City Parks Department and a former resident of Brooklyn, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 79 years of age.
The son of the late Anthony and Mary Aliano Bruno, he was born September 8, 1925, in Brooklyn.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he served as a lance corporal during World War II.
Mr. Bruno is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Joe Trust of Monticello and Marion and Paul Misner of Loch Sheldrake; eight grandchildren, Angela, Dean and Robert Guadagno, Paul Jr. and Jamie Misner and Chris, Colette and Robert Victor; five great-grandchildren, C.J. and Jaclyn Victor, and Edward, Allan and Sage Guadagno.
Friends may call at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Peter's Church, Broadway and Liberty St., Monticello.
Entombment with military honors will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

James R. Norris
Former DJ, 60

James R. Norris of Briscoe, a former disc jockey with WITY in Danville, Ill., died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Bronx Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was 60 years of age.
The son of Margaret Lare Norris Peters and the late Raymond Norris, he was born May 12, 1944, in Swan Lake.
While working as a disc jockey, he had a show called "The Housewife Hall of Fame" and a daily program that had a country music format.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he was a K-9 trainer of dogs being sent into action in Vietnam.
Mr. Norris is survived by his mother of Briscoe; two sisters, Janet Deppa and Nancy Cavanagh, both of Briscoe; two daughters, Darlene Squires of Oswego and Debra Lewis of Swan Lake; a granddaughter, Amanda Lewis; three nephews, Ronald and Peter Deppa of Briscoe and Michael Cavanagh of Franklin Square; and two nieces, Kelli Cavanagh of Smithtown and Jennifer Cavanagh of Wappingers Falls.
Friends may call at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville on Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Andrews officiating.
Burial will be made in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeffersonville Fire Department or the Jeffersonville First Aid Squad, both at Jeffersonville, N.Y. 12748.

Muriel H. Parry
Ret. Med. Secy., 84

Muriel H. Parry of Monticello, a retired medical secretary for the late Dr. Carl Heins and a 58-year area resident, died Friday, April 2, 2004, at the Horton campus of the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 84 years of age.
The daughter of the late Hjaimer and Nina Sackett Hanson, she was born December 31, 1919, in Canterbury, Conn. She was the widow of Edmund Parry who died May 16, 1980.
She was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Mrs. Parry is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Edmund Jr. and Sharon Parry of Newburgh, Ind., Bruce and Debbie Parry of Solon, Ohio, and James and Patricia Parry of Corning; a daughter, Lorraine Parry of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Daniel Parry, Michelle Zgodzinski, Kristi Gnall, Cpl. Edmund Parry with the U.S. Marines in Iraq, Michael Parry, Jennifer Parry and Christopher Parry; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Zgodzinski. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Phillip Hanson.
There were no services.
Private cremation was made at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, N.Y. 13220-3049.
Arrangements were made by the Ramsay's Funeral Home in Monticello.

Julius Freyberger
Ret. Garageman

Julius Freyberger, a longtime resident of Callicoon, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2004 at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris.
Funeral arrangements by the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Callicoon are incomplete at press time.

Shirley Goldberg
Ret. Restaurateur, 76

Shirley Goldberg, a former more than 25 year resident of Monticello and a retired restaurateur, died March 31, 2004 in the state of Florida. She was 76 years of age.
The daughter of the late Irving and Anna Neidoff, she was born October 28, 1927. She was the widow of Milton Goldberg to whom she was married 53 years.
Mrs. Goldberg was an active member of Hadassah and PTA.
In a family statement, it was said, "Death happens despite what we do to avoid it. Everything that begins, ends. The fact may not be welcome, but it is realistic. Death is a central part of life, and despite everything it takes from us, so too it enriches and strengthens. She will be missed."
She is survived by a son, Jay, and a daughter, Barbara, both of Longwood, Fla.; and a grandson, Joshua of Orlando, Fla.
Services and burial were held at Palm Beach Memorial Park in Lantana, Fla.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 595 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Fla. 32714.

Raymond Horton, 37

Raymond Patrick Horton of Middletown died March 31, 2004. He was 37 years of age.
The son of Raymond and Jacqueline Heiner Horton, he was born June 10, 1966, in Teaneck, N.J.
Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Marcia Marciano Horton; two sons, Brandon and Alexander; his parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorry and John Leigh of Wanaque, N.J.; a brother-in-law, John Marciano Sr. of Yulan; a sister-in-law, Valerie Marciano; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Saturday at St. Stephen's R.C. Church in Warwick.
Interment was made in the Warwick Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

Virginia L. Frank
Homemaker, 80

Virginia Louise Mathern Puerschner Frank of Jeffersonville died April 4, 2004, after an illness. She was 80 years of age.
The daughter of the late Harry P. and Louise Wachter Mathern, she was born May 10, 1923, in Jeffersonville, during a snowstorm.
Mrs. Frank was a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church of Jeffersonville where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and was a past president of the Ladies Aid of the church. She was also president of the Lutheran Cemetery Association, a past president and member of the Council of the First Lutheran Church and a past leader of Cub Scout Troop 106, teaching many boys how to tie knots.
In a family statement, it was said, "Ginny's great loves and interest was of her family and friends. She enjoyed music, baking (always fresh cookies and cakes for anyone stopping by), sewing, needle work, being outdoors tending her beautiful flower gardens, deer hunting in her younger years and feeding and identifying birds. Ginny was especially proud of having six fire chiefs and three firemen in Protection Hose Co. of Jeffersonville in her immediate family. Mom would like to give heartfelt thanks to Pastor Kris Anderson and family and friends who visited and helped her out at home during the time of her illness."
She is survived by her husband, Arthur, at home; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Frank DePasquale of Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sharon Puerschner and Tom and Judy Puerschner, all of Jeffersonville; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Leticia and Tom Barnhart and Francine and Billy Baskin, all of Texas, Deborah Strahan, Kimberly and Kenny Krull, Michael and Tracy Puerschner, Mark Puerschner, Janay Puerschner, Edmund and Janet Puerschner, Jennifer and Gary Clark, and John and Audra Spath; a special nephew and his wife, Gary and Myra Mathern, and grand-niece, Lisa Mathern, all of Jeffersonville; 17 great-grandchildren; her godson, Glenn Ahnstrom; a brother-in-law, Harold Puerschner; three sisters-in-law, Anna Mathern, Eunice Mathern and Elaine Zweigel; and a niece, Monica Fowler. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edmund Puerschner who died in 1964; three brothers, Harry "Bud," Clifton and Roger Mathern; and four little angels.
Friends may call at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Jeffersonville Lutheran Church with Pastor Kristen Anderson officiating.
Burial will be made in the Jeffersonville Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elevator Fund at the Jeffersonville Lutheran Church, Jeffersonville, N.Y. 12748.
