Florence R. Bragg
Homemaker, 84

Florence Realmuto Bragg, a resident of Wurtsboro since July of 1997 and a former resident of Florida and Highland, died March 28, 2005, at her home. She was 84 years of age.
The daughter of the late George and Frances Lo Casio Realmuto, she was born August 26, 1926, in Highland.
Mrs. Bragg was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lloyd Post #193, American Legion, in Highland and was a member of the Schoria County American Legion Ladies Auxiiary.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George A. Bragg, at home; two daughters, Nancy J. Rich of Marlboro and Linda Lee Stueber of Highland; a brother, George A. Realmuto and his wife, Loretta, of Highland; four grandchildren, Robert Rich and his wife, Dawn, Mikki Lynn Judge, George Rich and Heidi Stueber; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews; and many friends.
Services and burial were private.

Marie ‘Gram’ Clark
Ret. RN, 79

Marie Rivera "Gram" Clark, a retired registered nurse and a longtime Middletown resident, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at St. Teresa's Nursing Home in Middletown. She was 79 years of age.
She was born July 17, 1925, in Hurleyville.
Mrs. Clark began her career in nursing at the Bellevue Hospital in New York City and also worked for Wellcare, Litson and Orange County Residential Heathcare Center in Goshen. She retired after 24 years of caring for others.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Sandra Rivera of Bloomingburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Dara and Charles Otero of Middletown; five grandchildren, John Rivera, Conrad Rivera, Tanya Giordano and her husband, Justin, Dario Diaz and his wife, Christina, and LeAndra Coe and her husband, Bradley; and four great-grandchildren, Hailie and Justin Ryan Giordano, Corbin Diaz and Bradley Wayne Coe III.
A Funeral Service of Remembrance was held Thursday at the Applebee-McPhilips Funeral Home in Middletown.
Burial was made in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Chuck Allbright, 65

Chuck Allbright of Walnut Mt., Liberty, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 65 years of age.
Friends may call at the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty, on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Monsignor Edward Straub officiating.
Burial with military honors will be held at the veteran's section of the Liberty Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Unit Voluntary Service, VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave., Albany, N.Y. 12208.

Ruth Quinlass
Homemaker, 79

Ruth Quinlass of Briscoe, a homemaker and a lifetime area resident, died Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Roscoe Community Nursing Home. She was 79 years of age.
The daughter of the late Orville and Adda Mae Keeler, she was born December 28, 1925, in Youngsville. She was the widow of Raymond Quinlass who died August 19, 2002.
She is survived by four children, Donna Cheryl Covart of Pine Bush, Michael Quinlass and his wife, Kathy, of Youngsville, Ray Quinlass of Harris and Brigette Quinlass of Briscoe; two brothers, Donald Keeler of Youngsville and Edward Keeler of Middletown; a sister, Betty Ackerly of Walton; six grandchildren, Lisa Sauer, Timmy Covart, Jennifer Quinlass, Kaitlyn Quinlass, Dana Quinlass and Adam Quinlass; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, George and Leslie Keeler.
There were no services.
Cremation was made at the Twin Tiers Crematory in Endicott.

Rose Villari
Homemaker, 85

Rose Villari of Liberty, a homemaker and a 24-year area resident, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 85 years of age.
The daughter of the late Genaro and Filomena Servillo, she was born September 13, 1919, in the Bronx. She was the widow of Louis Villari who died October 4, 1975.
In a family statement, it was said, "She was a great cook and was loved by her family."
Mrs. Villari is survived by a son, Guy Villari of Liberty; a daughter and son-in-law, Sunday and Walter Kroczak of Yonkers; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Eugene R.C. Church, Central Ave., Yonkers, with Rev. Morrow officiating.
Burial will be made in St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.

Anna Constantino
Homemaker, 90

Anna R. Constantino of Monroe, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center in Campbell Hall. She was 90 years of age.
The daughter of the late Phillip and Benedetta Santora Constantino, she was born November 11, 1914, in Monroe.
Miss Constantino was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Margaret Mary and the Monroe Jolly Senior Citizens, all in Monroe.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Pat Constantino of Wurtsboro; two sisters, Mary M. Constantino of Monroe and Philomena A. Gordon and her husband, Harry, of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Constantino and Benjamin Constantino, and three sisters, Josephine Mancino, Bessie Broadhead and Rose Olsen.
Friends may call at the Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, with the Rev. George Pulparayil officiating.
Burial will be made in St. Columba Cemetery in Chester.

Evelyn A. Davies
Homemaker, 88

Evelyn A. Davies of Middletown, a homemaker and a longtime area resident, died Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Horton campus of the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 88 years of age.
The daughter of the late George W. and Harriet Ackerman Moore, she was born December 2, 1916, in New Jersey. She was the widow of Charles F. Davies Sr.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles F. Jr. and Ronnie Davies of Smallwood, John H. and Casey Davies of Walker Valley and George W. Davies of Bayonne, N.J.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and John Seeley of Fair Oaks and Carol and Walter Barschow of Connecticut; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were held Thursday at the Wallkill Cemetery in Phillipsburg.

Arthur Norton Jr.
Ret. O&R Super, 78

Arthur W. Norton Jr. of Wurtsboro, residing in Sebastian, Fla., for the last several years, died Sunday, April 3, 2005. He was 78 years of age.
The son of the late Arthur and Tessie Norton, he was born August 21, 1926.
A World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Norton retired as a supervisor for Orange and Rockland Utilities in 1982. He was a member of the American Legion, the Wurtsboro Fire Company and the Mamakating Conservation Club.
In a family statement, it was said, "His generosity with family and friends of all walks of life will always be a model to follow. The fragrance of his baked goods will be missed by all who knew him. The deer of Cliff Lake and the fish at the Basha Kill can now rest at ease that the best hunter and fisherman that legend can muster has now ended their pursuit."
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ann Bray Norton, at home; his step-children, Robert Bray and his wife, Kathy, Terrie and her husband, Rick Marlowe, and their children, Jason, Kari, Amber, Nicholas and great-grandchild, Madison; his former wife, Phyllis M. Norton, their children Susan Lewis and her husband, George, William G. Norton and his wife, Jean, and their grandchildren, Katie, Brendan, Rachel, John and Luke.
There were no services.
Cremations was made with distribution of the cremains made in the forest surroundng Cliff Lake.

Marjorie L. Boyd
Homemaker, 78

Marjorie Laura Boyd, a resident of St. Petersburg, Fla., since 1994, a homemaker and a former resident of Ferndale, died March 21, 2005, in Florida. She was 78 years of age.
The daughter of the late Clara Christianson, she was born November 20, 1926, in Middletown. She was the widow of John Horton Boyd who died September 15, 1958.
Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church.
In a family statement, it was said, "She was loved by all and will be missed by all."
She is survived by four daughters, Virginia Abendola of St. Petersburg, Fla., Sue Ann Boyd of Monticello, Karen Boyd of Ferndale, Brenda Boyd of Riverhead; a son, Martin Boyd of Syracuse; four grandchildren; three sisters, Lorraine Lingad of Poughkeepsie, Margaret Ryker of North Tonawanda and Lucy of California; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and William, and a sister, Wilma DeLicio.
Cremation was made in Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 628, Monticello, N.Y. 12701.

David C. Perez
Vietnam Veteran, 58

David Cruz Perez of Monticello died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at his home. He was 58 years of age.
The son of Orencio Perez and Mercedes Cruz, he was born December 2, 1946, in Havana, Cuba.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968.
He is survived by six brothers in Cuba; three sisters, Damys Alonso, Doris Soliman and Dellys Presnell; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St., Monticello, on Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial, with full military honors, will be held at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty.
