"Sure as the sun sets and the world rides on the wind I'll be riding somewhere with the cowboys again" -Gone with the Cowboys" Robert "Bob" Hartman departed this life on Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas at the age of 64. Bob was born in Monticello, New York on March 02, 1944 and was the son of the late Bernard and Helen Moore Hartman. Bob was a horse lover whose involvement with horses started at the age of 10 working as a stable hand for a friend. In time he became an expert horseman, training and showing horses for himself and many others. He was also involved in major construction work in and around the Eureka Springs area. He and his wife Geralyn established the Dinner Bell Ranch and Resort in Eureka Springs where they worked together to give others the pleasure of riding the trails. Bob was an avid hunter, making yearly trips to Colorado for the Elk hunt with his friends and family. He was a Viet Nam vet who served two tours of duty there. He is survived his loving wife Geralyn Harman at home; his daughter, Piper White and her husband, Jerry of Newport, AR; three grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Hartman and his wife, Charlotte , James Hartman and his wife Joyce; three sisters, Helen and her husband, Frank Exner; Mary and her husband, Roy Garber; Debbie and her husband, Gene Bertholf; 16 nieces and nephews; 6 great-nieces and nephews; aunts, uncle and cousins all of New York and many nieces and nephews in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Albert Joseph Delade, of Loch Sheldrake, New York, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday December 20, 2008. He was 64. The son of the late Albert and Frances Marie Shorter Delade, he was born on December 26, 1943 in Warwick,New York . Albert had moved to Loch Sheldrake, where he had worked for many years as Supervisor of Maintenance at the Foxcroft Village. He served our country during the Vietnam Era. His hobbies that he liked most were fishing and hunting and watching Nascar racing. He especially loved being with his family as well as his grandchildren. Albert leaves behind his loving companion, Regina Allen at home; His two daughters, Catherine Symonds and her Husband Glenn of Georgia; Barbara Conklin and her companion, Charles Deck of Neversink; his son, David Delade of North Carolina; His step daughter, Regina Allen Laforge and her husband, Mike of Lochsheldrake; his two step sons, Arthur Allen and his wife, Teresa of Hurleyville; James Allen of Loch Sheldrake : 6 grandchildren, Blake and Jenna Symonds, Amanda Magie, Dakota Deck, Daniel England and Jamie Allen; his four sisters, Janie Mari and her husband, Bob of California; Marion Burke and her husband John of Florida; Catherine Delade of Nevada; Donna Kleveno and her husband Richard of South Carolina; his two brothers, Leo T. Delade of Monticello, George Delade and his wife, Marlene of Warwick, as well as his best friend, Mark Kogon of Loch Sheldrake and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Procak. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 8:30 pm Tuesday evening. Pastor Bob Kersten will officiate. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date at Sullivan County Veteran Cemetery in Liberty, New York with full Military Honors

The son Jade Thompson and Raymond McClinton, he was born on May 11, 1979 in White Plains, New York. James is survived by his mother and step-father, Jade and Percival Gilchrest; two sisters, Patricia Gilchrest and Christina Jones; one step-brother, Percival Gilchrest III; his maternal grandfather, Roland Thompson, Sr.; his great-grandmother, Ernestine Clark-Jeter; four uncles, Antoine, Roland, Jr., Clark, and Chandler Thompson; four aunts, Whitney Booker; Jaqueline Goodspeed; Kimberly White; and Ebony Thompson; his great aunt and uncle, Paula and R. Doris I. Sisco of Monticello formerly of Mt. Dora Florida passed away on March 14, 2011 peacefully at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 84. She was the daughter of the late George and Stella Dabbs Ackerman; born on December 26, 1926 in Wharton, NJ. At one time she lived in Buttler NJ, and then moved to Mt. Dora, Fl and finally made her home here in Monticello, NY. She found enjoyment in many different activities such as watching the food network and tennis, reading mystery novels, and playing cards. Some of her favorite games to play were Peaknuckle, Canasta, Flinch, and good old fashion Rummy. She just recently became familiar with the computer and was enjoying learning more about it. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving children John Sisco of Upton, MA., Joyce Rubano of Grahamsville, NY, and Tom Sisco of Miami, FL., grandson Dennis Rubano Jr. great grandchildren Nathanul, Savannah, Kayla, Brionna, Asjah, Sierra, and Anthony. She was predeceased by one grandson Tony Rubano, six brothers and two sisters. Frances Novogrodsky a lifelong resident of Woodridge passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Achieve Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Liberty, NY. She was 76. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Novogrodsky, born on January 11, 1935 in Woodridge, NY. She was one of twelve children she was noted for her beauty and was a child beauty pageant winner. She was a graduate of Fallsburg High School and was later employed as a Telephone Operator for the Woodridge Phone Company. Frances dearly enjoyed traditional family holidays as well as traveling to visit her many beloved siblings. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and devoted Sister, Aunt, and great Aunt. Devotion was a trait she shared with her dear brother Joe, nephew Mike and his wife Dorothy, who lovingly cared for her in her last years. Frances was a lighthearted lady with a gentle spirit who always had a smile on her face, a joke to share, and most notably her own unique remarkable wit. Frances will be dearly missed by all who loved her and has now joined those of her beloved family in restful peace. She is survived by her loving Brother Joseph Novogrodsky of Woodridge, Sister Anne Baldi of Lady Lakes, FL. several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Joshua Brown of Liberty passed away suddenly on Monday March 21, 2011 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 19. He is the son of Andrew and Lisa Kazmarick Brown, born on September 17, 1991 in Martinsburg, WV. Joshua was a recent graduate of Liberty Central School and BOCES class of 2010. He always had a passion for cars and presented that when he made the decision to attend Sullivan County Community College and continue his education in the automobile industry. Joshua found enjoyment in playing the drums, but most of all he loved to take road trips and go on vacations. He was currently working at the Center for Discovery as a resident associate and loved being a part of this company and working with the kids. Joshua was a kind gentle hearted person that knew how to make people smile and laugh. He touched so many people in the short time he had; he will be missed by his loving family and friends. Frederick “Freddy” Fiddle of Liberty passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Westchester Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 43. He was the son of Shelby Gillespie and the late Russell Fiddle, born on March 21, 1968 in Liberty, NY. For many years Freddy worked at Rolling V Bus Corp. as a safety officer. Freddy always loved solving math problems, reading and working on computers. He was very involved in his health and fitness. Freddy enjoyed doing many activities but most of all he loved spending quality time with his pride and joy his daughter Rheanna. He was a loving father and friend and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Eugene Stratton of South Fallsburg passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Castle Point Veterans Hospital. He was 88. He was the son of the late Melvin D. and Dorothy G. Stratton, born on October 27, 1922 in Fallsburg, NY. Eugene proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII as a Second Lieutenant; and he devoted several years of his life protecting his country. He enlisted in the Army in 1943 in Hartford and studied Meteorology for one year in Bowdin College, in Brunswick Maine. He was shipped to different parts of the USA beginning with Nashville, TN and was classified as a Navigator in the Air Corp. From there he was shipped to Sumter, SC and then to Santa Ana for pre-flight school. Upon finishing pre-flight school he went to San Marcos Texas for the second phase of flight school. After he graduated from flight school he proudly made Second Lieutenant as a navigator in Blytheville, Arkansas to drop troop carriers off. He was later discharged in October 1945 in Mitchell Field Long Island and came back to Fallsburg. The next fifty years of his life he dedicated to working for his father and uncle and at Union Local 19 as a carpenter; which he retired from after 50 years of service. He was a member of the VFW & American Legion. He was interested in building or anything that was being built and took much pride in his work. He found enjoyment in many different activities such as hunting and fishing. He was a past member of the Spinning Hunting Club. He loved his family and spent as much time as possible with them. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He will be most missed for his gifts of courage, gratitude and humility which he has passed on to his loved ones. He is survived by his loving daughters Ellen Stratton and her companion Joseph Cummings at home, Janyne Katz and her husband Stephen of Eden, MD., grandchildren Daniel Katz, and Brandon Hummel, brother Frank and his wife Annette Stratton, nephews Perry and Christopher Stratton, niece Danielle Stratton, and among many of his lifelong friends Nicholas Shabola, Harold Gold and Raymond Stine. He was predeceased by his wife Luba A. Stratton in 2002, three brothers Arthur, Roger, and Walter Stratton. John Thomas Robinson was born to Albert and Diane Robinson/ Dineyard on May 29, 1944. At Burton South Carolina, he attended Shanklin Elementary and High School in Burton SC. As a young man he relocated to Woodridge and then to Connecticut where he worked several jobs in restaurants. He was the father of one son John Jr. He leaves to mourn his sisters Mary Lee John, Agnes Washington of Burton, South Carolina and Daisy Robinson, brothers Solomon Robinson of Woodridge New York sister-in-law Barbara Robinson, Uncle Joseph Linnen of Burton South Carolina With numerous loving nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
